MAC Lipstick Review

Who doesn't love a good lipstick? Mac lipsticks are my holy grail! I wish they werent so expensive so i could buy more. The shades are super pigmented,opaque and creamy. They go on smooth and they last ages on my lips!

I bought this lipstick one year ago and I still have loads of product left in it. It lasts a few hours. It's a bit drying but once you put a lip gloss over the top. It fully works :)

I LOVE this colour, I need a blue based red due to my colouring and wanted a really BOLD and punchy colour to have for a go-to red. This does it! I have been told this is Gwen Stefani's go to red and as she is one of my favourite celebrities I was more than pleased to learn this bit of info! The formula is very vibrant and stays on forever (i have issues getting it off it's so good) but it is very drying so be sure to be kind to your lips with balm before and after wearing RR. Its packaging is smooth and sleek, like all MAC lippies and a little goes a long way so this puppie will last you a long time. I find the colour pay off is extremely good, and i rarely need a liner as the colour stays put so well. I have not found it to bleed or smudge however you do have to be careful as it will go on your teeth if you don't blot. It feels quite dry and chalky on your lips and is very matte however It does not look too dry when on. It is a bit different to any other red i have come across and as my bestie is a Ruby Woo addict, it was nice to have my own shade.

Comes in so many shades and finishes, and always amazing to wear. Will always choose this over any other brand!

I am addicted to nudes (the lipstick!!) and so I saw the shade Honey Love which is a matte nude and had to have it.

It's safe to say that these lipsticks are tried and tested, great products. You can purchase these assured that you're getting a good quality product.

Honey Love was pigmented, it was so creamy to apply that I second guessed it was actually matte, but alas it most certainly dried matte.

My only downside for this product was I felt as though it didn't have the longevity that I expected but it certainly wasn't something that would stop me from purchasing it over and over again!

You're in safe hands purchasing one of these lippies... go for it!

Personally I love the Mac lipsticks - anything matte is my favourite but im also loving the pearl and frost. I love how the different formulas show the same colours in different lights. Also I find them very hydrating! The only thing that puts me off is the price.

Mac lippies are good, they have excellent pigment and a shade and formula to suit everyone, from matte through to glossy it's all available.

The price itself isn't to bad either, yes it's up there at $40 but when compared to brands like loreal it's actually not that much more expensive to have a luxury brand in your make up bag.

All Mac lipsticks come in a classic black bullet shaped tube and have Macs signature vanilla cupcake type scent which is not overpowering.

They apply really nicely, if your lips are dry then use a lip scrub first or run your toothbrush over your lips and probably best to use a more hydrating formula like a cremesheen.

Everybody should try at least one.
