Sleek iDivine

I think sleek products are so amazing, I tried this because everyone online was going crazy about them. I pad $15 online on a facebook page and found it so so worth it. They are pigmented and buttery, last very well and dont crease. The case is so cute, and I think the pallet a perfect size, not to bulky but still a decent amount.

Arabian Nights Smoke and Shadows

I've been interested in Sleek's iDivine Eyeshadow Palettes for some times so when I saw the limited edition Arabian Nights palette I had to have it.

The palette is packaged in a very streamline matte black with magnetic closure and large mirror. It is very 'sleek' in appearance but on the downside it does show every single mark.

The palette contains 12 round shadows in a mixture of metallic satins, shimmers and a couple of matte shadows. I'm not normally a big user of vibrant eye makeup so the jewel-tones in Arabian Nights work for me perfectly. Each shadow is very pigmented and delivers high-impact colour that lasts all day without having to pack on the product. I did find the matte shadows slightly harder to blend than the satins.

The formulas are quite powdery and there's a fair bit of fallout from the shadows, especially the glitters and glitter does end up everywhere across the palette. In terms of wear they didn't crease on me, but it's not a palette I would recommend for those with mature skin or those who dislike glitter as the shadows are very shimmery.

I really like my palette and they are very good value. I've been eyeing up other i-Divine palettes and recommend them to anyone after an affordable palette with a variety of colours.

Great quality, great price!

I have the Au Naturel Palette and I love it! Such a bargain price and the pigmentation is great. Definitely want to buy the other palettes!

Good quality eyeshadows

Sleek has so many eyeshadow palettes with lots of different colours so whether you like bright, bold colours or more neutral colours there is a palette for you. These palettes are also a really good price considering how many colours you get. There is also a range of matte and shimmery in each palette.

Nice, affordable and great quality

For the price point I wasn't expecting too much but I was blown away over how creamy and blendable these eyeshadows actually were, let alone how pigmented the shades are.

The i Divine palette has a great selection of shade to help achieve a beautiful look, the shades have little to no fall out if you go gently, which is the golden rule, start out slow and build up.

The colours last practically all day unless you touch your eye area a lot then there will be movement, even a decent primer can't hold things on if you rub at it.

There is a huge selection of these palettes in different colour range options and they are so pocket friendly, would recommend for anyone interested in makeup. Almost gave 5 rating but in comparison to my UD palettes it falls a little short which is what I compare most palettes too.

Sleek eye shadow palletes

I have had my hands on several eye shadow palletes from sleek. There is a vast variety or types. I didn't know this company has been around for over 20years! Each eyeshadow pallete I've seen includes a mirror taking up the entire lid, black pallete packaging which is quite a nice size -not too big but houses 12 shadows. Usually the pallete is a mix of matte, satin or metallic and glittering colours. I have seen ones that look all matte and the famous acid brights pallete - a stunning array of fluro bright shades. The shades tend to blend fairly well. I recall the sleek brand being very popular for a while in New Zealand and they have had some hits with their highlight compacts too. Vintage romance is great for doing smokey eye plus it has some lovely goldens base shades and deep colours like purple blue and black, bad gal has stunning silver metallics deep green blues & a plum/wine purple + two light shades. I like how the silver / light shades allows you to brighten up the dark shades If you wanted to - some striking combos there. Acid brights also has a metallic blue & amazing fushia pink with it's matte fluro colours. Generally nicely pigmented but some need building up. You get an applicator bit that's nothing to rave about. These are nice budget friendly palletes and there are some interesting limited editions out there too.

Good matte palettes

I have 2 sleek palettes in matte V1 and matte V2.One has crazy bright colors and the other has more neutral dark tones.

These palettes are both great. I love the colors and the pigmentation is quiet good. I do prefer the darker one as i find it easier to wear on a daily basis. Also i can create looks with just that one palette. I like the brighter palette also its just not as easy to wear in my opinion. But great for color experimentation.

One thing i dont really like about it is they are quite powdery. Which can make it more difficult to blend out the colors. It can easily be worked around though. It can also cause alot of fall out. Once again something that can be worked around.

I think these palettes are so great, especially for the price. I would love to try more of them

Inexpensive and pigmented

I love a lot of sleeks products but I only use them for myself, I would never put one in my kit. The pigments are amazing, the colours are beautiful, the texture is creamy. However the fallout is a pain and the blending can be frustrating. I always have to do my eyes first when using any sleek palette otherwise it falls out all over my base which is fine for me but if you're someone in a rush it might be a bit of a pain.

For the price it's worth it, I have used high end products that have costed me x10 more and ended up being worse then the sleek eye shadows. Defiantly worth the price.

Tips: Always use/do your eyes with sleek before you do your foundation otherwise you'll have terrible dropout all over your face.

Bad Girl

The palette BAD GIRL has an impressive colour scheme which is perfect for creating a sultry look. It has metallic greys and forest greens, with a row of rich purples and blues topped off with two highlights of iridescent peach and white.

I used this palette not too long ago to try blue eyeshadow for the first time and looking at the pan today I had to double-check it was the right one because it looks as if I barely used it! Unfortunately the quality of the shades aren't created equally. Some swatch beautifully while others are questionable.

The metallic shades have no shimmer so you could get away with wearing the shades during the day without drawing too much attention. The matte shades are buildable so don't be put off if it applies sheer at first - keep layering.

Least favourites: Abyss - they should have called it non-existent..or maybe they meant the colour disappeared into an abyss?

Innocence & Gullible - they're the two highlights and when swatched you can barely tell which one is which?!

Favourites: Obnoxious - blue indigo in the pan but on the lid it's the most gorgeous metallic blue I've ever seen which says a lot because I hate blue altogether

Gun Metal - a stunning metallic silver where the colour is true to pan

Rebel - a deep plum wine with a matte finish

The shadows generally sit nicely on my oily lids without disappearing so quickly like some of my high-end shadows but I do prime and use Fix+ when using this palette. I bought most of my Sleek palettes from Beauty Bliss and out of all of them this has to be my favourite.

70/30?

I have three of these palettes and I think they are pretty good, considering their price. I have found that most of them have about 70% of good eyeshadows, with the remaining 30% as either bad colours or bad formulas. I have also had one break at the hinge which makes me no longer want to use it (too much of a hassle). Other than that, the good eyeshadows are beautiful and especially in the Vintage Romance palette, are beautiful to foil. This would be a great, affordable palette for someone starting out in makeup.
