I own this product in Paree and I am seriously impressed and obsessed with it. I want to run out and BUY ALL THE COLOURS!!! I'm on a no-spend however, so I shall resist...for now.
Paree is the most lovely shade of nude. I never imagined I'd ever buy a nude lippy pre-BR. Heck I wasn't even a lippy girl, let alone buying a product to look like natural lip colour, did not see the point. Inspired by the lovely BR community I have recently stepped out of my comfort zone and nude was a gap in my fledgling collection that needed filling. It is a gorgeous shade, somehow managing to come off both edgy and polished looking. I've even been playing around with overlining my lips and it's perfect for that too.
As you can probably gather from my admission that I am a lippy nube, I am perhaps not best placed to compare this to other products formulation or staying power wise but I shall give it a whirl.
I enjoy the creamy-on formulation. It goes it smooth and the fuzzy stick thing applicator (I'm sure this has a technical name sorry) lets me get it nice and precise and control the amount of product I'm using.
I found the wear a little tacky for half an hour after applying but not in an overly irritating way. Once it dries I was barely aware I was wearing it at all. Speaking of drying I hear tales that matte products can be just that but personally, with my normally very dry lips, I didn't have this problem at all.
Staying power... Here's the rub. This claims to have all day staying power, which for me was just an out and out fallacy. If I don't eat, or drink (or at least drip water from my bottle carefully into my mouth) I can get a good few hours out of it. Eat or drink in a non-weirdo manner though and I need to touch up.
Is good, such a nice strong colour a and is matte , but yet if you have dry lips or re apply through out the day it tends to get a bit dry and starts rubbing off, so just be carefull, wipe off and reapply, or moisturize lips first!
