I purchased a C&C advantage kit which contains this cleanser.
Its a clear gel consistency. The smell is like medicine which i feel sick when apply. But i forgive that because it works great and the smell fades quick.
It works wonderful as a cleanser because it removes dirt, oil and make up really well. My skin after wash feels so clean, fresh and love the minty cooling affect afterward. I think using this cleanser is an important step to prep the skin before treatment. Remember to apply toner and moisturizer straight after wash otherwise this cleanser dries out your skin a lot.
I use this and the set twice a day, everyday and find my skin has improved a lot.
Overall i love it and will repurchase.
I was given a kit that included this product by my step-mother as a gift. I get one off pimples quite often, but they hurt a lot. I decided to add this to my morning or night time routine, and I haven't stopped. I have to get past the sickly chemical soapy smell, but once I do this product works a charm. It gives a slight tingle when my skin is looking especially bad, but that just makes it feel like it's really getting into my pores and opening them. I always use the clean & clear toner and moisturiser afterwards to make my skin feel softer as this product can feel quite harsh and my skin can feel rubbing but with the other products, I find it works perfectly.
Tips: Always use a moisturiser on your face afterwards. Even though it says use twice daily, I recommend only using once a day as it's quite rough.
While this did work for me, it was very harsh on my skin. If I used it once every now and then it seemed to work nicely, but using it every day or every second day I feel like it really irritated my skin (I don't have particularly sensitive skin) and made my acne worse. I did like using it a couple of times a week while using a gentle cleanser in between.
I first used this when I was a teenie bober because I would get the one or two odd pimples always around my lips. There was minimal difference after a couple of weeks of using, I found that I broke out more than normal. I have quite sensitive skin I found it was a little harsh but not to over barring. This product left my face clean but not clear.
I purchased this for my partner and after getting a few breakouts myself I decided to give this a go . I have normal to dry skin and it's not sensitive but I found this so harsh on my skin it almost stung after I'd used it . My skin became very dry and red . It did clear up my pimples but as soon as I stopped using it they got worse and my skin was in a bad way . I'm not sure if it's just my skin that didn't like this but I wouldn't recommended it to anyone with sensitive skin .
I brought this from the countdown in the 4pack was ok but not really the greatest products in the world with saying that ima say it is a good product tho help clear my acne it was not too harsh for my skin as i have sensitive skin I used it with my konjac sponge and made my skin so soft and bump free as i had lots of bumps on my forehead and chin and this helped clear that right up :) i like this but would defs get the cheaper ones as does the same thing this just a lil faster :)
some of clean and clear cleansers had a very tingly sensation it was good for waking you up as it was a cool freash feeling I do not think it would be good for very sensitive skin I am not sure if it did me much favours except it bought out the acne I was told it had to get worse before it got better I was fighting a loosing battle though as later I found out my acne was realted to a hormone in balance this product did make my skin feel clean but I do not know if it was actually encouraging more oil to be produced. I no longer use such products because I do not need them or like the additives
I used to purchase the kit including the scrub, toner, moisturizer and spot gel. Such a fantastic system that works.
I no longer use it how ever as i have developed sensitive skin (not from using this system.)
I have suggested this to people with normal skin type and oily skin types and they have found it works great for them.
It is definitly not suitable for a person with sensitive skin and even so it can still make your skin quite dry so you must moisturize.
Tips: Purchase the kit for the best results. Always use a moisturizer after using this. Not suitable for sensitive skin.
I suffer from breakouts during my time of the month, which most girls do, so I only get the odd few - but they're very obvious and I'm OCD when it comes to any break outs at all. So me being me, I try out EVERY product that I am recommended to, so I saw a beauty blogger recommend this (this is why I only like honest bloggers) and I went and got it.
it is not expensive, around $10-12 depending on where you get it from, but I guess with this product you get what you pay for. It takes a while to work, but honestly, I would rather have my breakouts than ever use this product. Yes, it reduces the size of your breakout, however, you're left with a million other things to fix like dry skin, dry patches, and the feel that your skin is burning.
It could just be me being allergic to this, but I do use their spot treatment and I have a stash of those at home at all times! I think it is just this cleanser, it is WAY too harsh on your skin, and I don't think anyone would normal or dry skin should ever try it.
If you have super oily skin, then this could work, but there is better products out there that I would spend an extra $5 on and not have to spend $50 on a product that fixes the issues this has sadly summoned me upon.
Tips: As always, a little goes a long way.
