I got this in hopes that it would transform my lily white complexion in to that of a bronzed goddess all on a budget hehe. Now I obviously wasn't going to get the best quality but I was quietly confident that I would look slightly sunkissed. I dislike the little square brush it comes with very much. It does nothing for the bronzer so I use my kabuki brush to dust over the powder and buff myself bronze.
For $5 I am hooked on this. I made the mistake the first time by putting too much on. It's actually more pigmented than you would expect! I avoid putting it on my face to avoid looking like an oompa loompa. I use it on my legs which gives them a nice glow and not so lily white. Now there is alot of fall out of the product so it can get messy. I tend to do mine in the bathroom so I can quickly wipe up the powder that is dropped. The compact is a little too small for me but for $5 I don't mind buying more to get a tanned complexion.
The only disappointment I had was when wearing this in the rain.....big mistake!!! It ran while I was wearing a dress no less! I had orange looking streaks going on and oh not such a good look! I had to visit the nearest public toilet to wash it off my legs back to a lily white :( In the summer though it's perfect if you are like me and don't like sunbathing.
For such a cheap product it's ok.
I got this one on special at the warehouse for a couple bucks.
I used it all over my body for a glow when i was working at the ragamuffin concert, I didn't want to appear super white as I would've have been the only one not tanned in our booth.
I applied it with a big fluffy brush, not the silly little square thing you get lol.
It has a lot of fall out, so be prepared for that.
It does have a shimmer and if you are using it all over your body buff in well, it's not too streaky but buff in well not up and down movements but little circles work well.
It did not transfer onto my clothes, I had a bright orange tui work shirt on, so that was good.
I bronzed up my face, chest arms and legs, worked well. Looked natural which was my main concern.
I wouldn't contour with it tho. Just a quick bronze.
I'd use it again on my body :)
Tips: Big fluffy brush , small circle movements to buff in.
