I LOVE how these swatch in store, and am going through a big rose gold obsession at the moment, so I picked up Guns and Rose Petals from Farmers. It blended out on my hand awesome, but I am having trouble getting them to blend out as nicely on my eyes. I can't quite achieve a well blended or precise look with them, the go a bit patchy on my eye lids. Also as I get more fine lines on my eyes I find that metallic shadows look less and less flattering on me, which is such a shame. Probably won't stop me from wearing them sometimes and experimenting. The colour is such a great rose gold shade if that's what you're after. I will have to be brave and try and a darker shade someday soon :)

Tips: Keep these well sealed as they can dry out rather quick.
I don't think my thoughts have ever been so divided about a product when writing a review! Where to begin...
I guess I'll start by saying that the Australis Metallix Eyeshadows are awesome products. High quality, very high pigment, massive impact. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for an eyeshadow with oompf, something for evening events or parties.
The reasons why I didn't end up totally loving this shadow was that it wasn't what I thought I was buying. I needed an inner eye corner shimmer shadow, and specifically wanted a powder. Nothing in the description for the Australis Metallix Eyeshadows did it say that the consistency of the product is really more like a thick cream. This made it really hard to apply a subtle amount to my eyes, and I found it difficult to use this as an inner corner highlight without looking like a preteen going mad with glitter. I've ended up using the shade Amy Whitehouse as an overall shadow instead, and it does look gorgeous when lightly dabbed over lids for a dewy look.
I only wish the product description had been more specific so I hadn't bought something I didn't want!
These are beautiful looking foiled shadows which are absolutely chockfull of pigment. Plum diddy is (as the name suggests) a deep metallic plum with a hint of sparkle. I don't often wear super dark colours on my eyes so I personally like to apply this quite lightly and sheer it across my mobile lid, blending it into the crease with a matte cool brown. When worn sheer in this way it looks like a light brown/plum and is really flattering and wearable.
Guns and Rose petals is a soft pale pink and is incredibly metallic. It makes a super vibrant inner corner highlight similar in tone to Makeup Geek Whimsical. The texture of this is a little chunky so has to be blended out with the warmth of your fingertips.
While I love the colours and pigmentation of these shadows they crease absolutely terribly on me. I have tried these with a variety of primers including Mac Paint pot and had creasing with all of them. This means I rarely reach for them, particularly if I need my shadows to last more than an hour or two.
If you aren't prone to creasing shadows or have oily teary lids like me then I would absolutely recommend these- they are a great price and are beautiful shadows. However because of the unsightly creasing I wont be purchasing more shades.
The one I have is cream based and super glittery in the pan it looks like a kind of tan colour but when put on the skin it is super silvery and sparkley looks good in the inner corners of the eye or near the brows but in my opinion the glitter is too much to be a highlight on the cheeks as it is not very fine. I have not tried any of the others and am normally not a fan of cream shadow this does not crease too easily either which is nice and can be built up or thin and blended to sheer coverage. the packaging is a bit false advertising as you do not get near the amount you think you are getting by the thick round container in terms of depth. You can get these cheaper online and I think that is the way to go instead of paying retail for them. Not a bad product if you are young and love glitter.
I have the shade Guns and Rose Petals and it is absolutely stunning! It can apply quite chunky (for lack of a better word) and can fade or transfer after a little while. I have tried setting it with similar pressed shadows but it dulls the metallic look. It looks amazing when used as a winged liner, it just takes a bit of finessing to get the opacity when using a tiny angled brush but is worth it.
It's alright for the price, it just wish it dried down/set better so it would last longer.
Tips: Experiment with application, setting and use until you find what works for you.
I have one of these eyeshadow in the shade plum diddy. Seriously love the names of These! This shade is a beautiful dark eggplant with red glitters in it. It's very intense on the eyes but absolutely gorgeous.
The packaging is very similar to color pop. It's in a screw top container with a clear lid to see the colour. I much prefer the black container compared to colour pops white one. The texture of the shadow is quite similar too. I think these are slightly creamier though.
I've tried to wear this in a few ways, with different eye primers, powder shadow underneath and even powder shadow in a very similar colour on top. Unfortunately, no matter what I try, it creases really quickly and just looks so messy. I can't even get a full hour before this starts transferring and creasing on me. I do have slightly hooded eyes that are oily but generally eye primer makes shades behave on me.
I love this colour so much but I can't recommend it at all. I do have to say that the balmsai palette by the balm has a very similar shade in it. It's just a little darker and without the pretty red glitters but still a bit shimmery.
I'll start by warning people this is a cream eyeshadow, so if that ain't your jam this is probably not the shadow for you.
Pigmentation for this eyeshadow is amazing and the silver is just beautiful.
The wear and tear is not so amazing however. I find it fades quickly and isn't the best to blend.
I wear this generally for a night out when I want that high impact metallic shadow to be on display. Glitter is my middle name after all :P
If it wore better I would repurchase.
