essano Hydrating Rosehip Gel Foaming Cleanser

When you buy a foaming cleanser, you kinda expect it to do foam. Well sorry to disappoint it really doesn't. But it does leave my dry and suffering winter skin clean and refreshed. It's smells amazing and you only need a small amount to clean efficiently.

I really wanted to like this product as I love other products from the range and it is reasonably priced and easy to find, however I found that as soon as I started using it, my face instantly broke out in pimples, and I'm not generally prone to pimples. I stuck it out for over a week but had to give it away to a friend as the breakouts continued. I also found it didn't foam up well and didn't remove all traces of makeup. It does smell lovely and feel nice on the skin though.

This cleanser really didn't work for me. I found that after a week of using it I started getting more breakouts, when I hoped the gentle and natrual formula would help control them. However, this is actually due to the fact that my skin reacts badly to rosehip. Essano Gentle Foaming Cleanser is rich in rosehip which boasts to even-out skin and leave it soft and hydrated. I actually found this cleanser to be a little bit drying and it left my skin feeling tight after use. As everyone's skin is different and I have discovered that mine does not react well to rosehip oil, I wouldn't steer anyone away from using it.

Removes my makeup with easy at the end of the day and doesn't leave my skin too dry! love this product have been using it for over a year now and still haven't changed. Is gentle on my sensitive skin but keeps my skin clear !

I can't say enough good things about this product! I have very oily skin that is prone to breakouts and was desperate to find something natural that I could use in the mornings. I have been using this for a couple of months now, and the majority of breakouts that I used to get have reduced! I now only get very minor spots. It's a lovely, soft cleanser to use and leaves my skin feeling refreshed. It smells incredible as well! You only need to use a little bit of the cleaner for it to really foam up. A little bit really does go a long way, so it is also such great value for money. This is my first Essano product that I've used and I love it!

In general I find Essano products hit and miss, but this one is a winner. The addition of rosehip oil makes for a gentle wash that cleanses without stripping natural oils from the skin. In addition, this product is easily purchased from the supermarket, making it accessible and affordable. The packaging is a smart brown bottle with a pump top, making it easy to get out a suitable amount of product.

The only reason I haven't given it 5 stars is the inclusion of parfum in the ingredients list. Essano do say they only use parfum that has been proven to be non-toxic, but I would still prefer complete transparency in an ingredients list so I can make my own informed decisions.

It smells good. It feels good and the best of all it's soap free but foaming. I can actually feel how it works even on my hands.

It's not very good in taking off makeup but I wipe my make-up off before using this. This product is not lying when it says “Gently cleanses while replenishing your skin’s natural moisture barrier." I felt the difference after the first use.

I really love the way my skin feels.

I like this cleanser. It's not the best i've used and doesn't really remove makeup BUT if you use it as your second cleanser after an oil or balm cleanse thats where the magic really happens.

I usually just my DHC oil cleanser to remove any makeup or dirt on my face then I'll follow up with this. It manages to clean anything else left on my face without stripping it (an issue when you have combo skin leaning towards dry)

I'm also admittedly not a fan of the scent. It's not terrible I just don't particularly think it's amazing but that being said it's a good affordable cleanser if you are in need of something.

I really love the smell of this product and the fact that it is organic and a more natural product. I like to use this cleanser in the morning on makeup free skin as it does not remove my Estee Lauder double wear foundation as well as some other cleansers can. I don't get that tight dry skin feeling after using this cleanser either so all in all a really nice and affordable product.:)
