There are somethings in life I just can't resist - Tootie Frooties, Sylvester Stallone, anything with Cath Kidston's Cowboy Print on it. But perhaps my biggest weakness is when my favourite designers dip their toes into new markets - it doesn't even really matter what it is! Lets be honest, a tea cup by Dior is going to bring just a little bit more oomph to your morning. So when my favourite designers and my beauty obsession collide, you can imagine the fallout of excitement!
Yes I am the one who gets excited by Dior's Nail Artistry Box or Christian Louboutin's Nail Polish. And Christian Louboutin has only gone and done it again.
Ladies, I give you, the under-nail nail polish.
Loubi Under is the famous 'Louboutin sole" for your nails. The hot red nail polish colour comes in a bottle that looks like a bottle of calligraphy ink The unique, super pointy brush is specially designed to paint - you guessed it, the underside of your nails.
Now the idea of painting the underneath of your nails is by no means new - the gorgeous Adele has rocked the look numerous times. It's perfect for ladies with long nails that hate the unfinished look an unpainted under-nail can leave. Especially if you're using a dark shade top side - it can leave your long tips looking murky underneath.
A fun way to rock the painted under-nail is to do what Louboutin famously does with the soles of his shoes - add a splash of colour that contrasts with the top side. Imagine if you will, deep black nails (maybe even deep, matte black nails) with a splash of shiny, hot red beneath. Yes please!
Loubi Under will set you back around $60, but hey, if you don't want to splash out on that, you can still achieve the look at home with a pointy brush and a thin coat of your favourite polish.
What do you think of Loubi Under? Is it a nail look you'd rock or do you not see the attraction? Do you like a little designer in your life, or are you unfussed by these types of forays by design houses?

I really like that. When my nails grow again all the same length I'll give it a go with a tiny water colour brush I have :)
