Agh it drives me nuts!

I got mine in the BR BB and it's been one of those products that has had my attention

I HAVE to moisturize head to toe everyday after a shower. The idea of spraying this on and it being so quick has a huge thumbs up.

So quickly I grab my new time saver item. Spray on my arm and this weird milky stuff came out. Who cares what it looks like aye, especially if we get amazing skin. So I put the spray down and rub it in. It soaks in quickly. Grab the spray again to spray and it slip through my hands. But I haven't Done the top of my arm and can't swap hands! I grab a cloth and use it as a grub and carry on. my suggestion to the company is put a gripper thingee on so it doesn't slide from your hands

I spray on both my legs before rubbing in this time. Rub it in and wait for a bit. To me this is far to watery. Or not moisturizing enough. So I have now tried a number of times during the day and and night on dry skin. Nope. No silky smooth legs or arms using this.

The fragrance! Yes it's similar to the normal vaseline and I really don't like it. It's never bothered me before, for some reason in the spray it does. What's with that?!!

Anyway sorry to say this is not for me. I'll be passing it on to a friend or family member so it goes used

One suggestion I have is to spray your whole body then rub it in, saves the slippery can situation.

Too good to be true

I thought that this would be great for being in my gym bag as it would be convenient. I loved that the cap can be locked so there's no messy accidents, but the positives stop there.

I find that applying this spray moisturiser is harder than expected. It absorbs quickly, so much so that I have to spray another layer. By then, my hands would be so greasy from rubbing it in that everything becomes too slippery, especially when some of the product gets onto the shower floor!

It definitely does not heal dry skin. I often feel like I haven't applied it at all, as my skin does not feel moisturised after.

I'm also not a fan of the scent, as I find it to strong for my sensitive nose. I find myself still preferring the lotion bottle versions than this one. I would not buy this or recommend this to anyone with dry skin.

Tips: Be careful where you spray this around... As the sprayed surface can get slippery, which is not good in a wet shower area.

Pretty average

I was quite excited about having a moisturiser in spray form, but it just really didn't float my boat. The moisturiser itself is very watery and thin, doesn't provide a deep moisturising experience and I need to apply more moisturiser later on in the day. The product is also really cold - which would be refreshing in summer, but it winter it is pure torture.

The spray goes everywhere making everything else (floor etc) wet and slippery. It doesn't spray evenly and you still have to rub it in so the whole benefit of it being a spray is totally lost. The nozzle also gets sticky and is difficult to clean out. Wouldn't buy again.

I love the idea but this doesn't work for me

I have this in the cocoa glow formula. It comes in a nice sleek , metal bottle. It looks pretty much like a spray deodorant but a bit bigger. It has a spray nozzle that twists to lock. So easy to travel with and you don't have to worry about losing those silly plastic lids.

I've previously used the original cocoa glow lotion and loved it but this really let me down. This is convenient to use and the whole process of applying it and rubbing it into my whole body take about 1 minute or less so it's super quick. Unfortunately though, this is not moisturizing at all. Obviously they had to thin it out to be able to spray continuously but half a hour after applying, my skin is left feeling dry and like I haven't moisturized at all.

Like they claim, it is quickly absorbed and is not greasy at all. You can get dressed straight away which is quite nice. I just really wish the moisture was more intense.

I can see where this could be handy, maybe after swimming or the gym where you've already moisturized but want a quick top up. It could also be good for throughout the day on your legs. for me though, this is a fail product and not one I'd buy again. I've only actually used this a couple of times but I can't really bring myself to use it more.

Not for me.

Like others, I got this in my BR beauty box. I wasn't sure if I would like it as I have used the regular line of Vaseline moisturiser (the one in the bottle), and I didn't like that so my expectations for this weren't high.

This is a unique product in that it comes in a spray bottle. I like the idea of it and whilst it sprays easily and efficiently, I found it hard to determine just how much product I needed. I always seemed to end up with too much which left my legs in a big greasy mess, which wasn't ideal.

The thing I really disliked about this though, was the scent. It has a strong plastics, artificial sweet scent which really does nothing for me whatsoever and is preventing me from being able to use the whole tube of this up. I just dislike it intensly and if I found the scent tolerable then I would use this product up.

Upon running this into my skin I felt like this left a thin, greasy layer of my skin which I also didn't like. My skin didn't feel like it fully absorbed this - bear in mind this could be something to do with my skins chemistry and the ingredients of this product.

Overall I definitely won't be buying this and I won't be finishing this either. This will be passed on to someone who I feel would better benefit and enjoy using it than I did.

Vaseline spray on moisturiser

The idea of this is great but for me it fails to live up to the idea. I found coverage was eithe to little or too much and left a greasy residue where there was too much product, I then had to wait for it to absorb or wipe off before I could get dressed. The upside is soft skin without any irritation (sensitive skin) . Be wary of where you apply this as overspray can make for very slippery floors which I found out the hard way :(

Tips: Apply away from hardwood or tile floors - over scrappy makes for slippery surfaces

high hopes for new old favorite

I had high expectations for this product. I've always give back to vaseline traditional moisturisers over my life time when I'm feeling like a break from trying out various other brands. I had seen the ad and thought what a fab idea, an old favourite but in spray form. I was disappointed to find that this spray version was a much thinner consistency than I had expected and I didn't feel that my skin was properly moisturises. I've used the entire can as I don't like waste but would not repurchase it again.

Tips: Maybe use as a top up during the day but not as your main body moisturiser

Vaseline Spray moisuriser

Not a fan of this moisuriser, it doesn't keep my skin moisurised for long. I suppose it would be ok if it was applied more throughout the day. It doesn't claim to last long but Id rather something that would only need to put on once a day. I like the spray bottle and application is easy but I was after something more rich that lasts longer, this is not very moisturising at all.

Vaseline Spray Moisturiser

I don't know what all the hype is about here! I used this product and I think it is over-rated. I found it difficult to get a light even spray every time I used it. I didn't think it absorbed into the skin any faster than the cream or lotion products. On the plus side, the container is light and smelled pleasant enough, I like the aloe vera one the best.

Novelty.

I picked up the Vaseline Intensive Care Total Spray Moisturiser when it was first released, after seeing it on a television advertisement. The advertisement gave me the impression that when using this product, you could spray and not have to rub it in. Instead, the moisturiser is sprayed onto the skin, but is in no other way different to a standard Vaseline moisturiser. It leaves an obvious but lightweight layer of moisturiser on the skin, that must be rubbed into the skin to absorb. I found the formula lightweight, but it took the same amount of time to absorb without being as hydrating as a thicker moisturiser. To me, the formula looks and feels like watered down standard Vaseline moisturiser. I tried putting tights on two minutes after using this product and they were sticking to my legs and ended up with white marks - just like a standard moisturiser. The scent is standard, summery and doesn't clash with my perfume.

The Vaseline Intensive Care Total Spray Moisturiser would come in handy during the summer, when you wanted to feel cool and refreshed, however I cannot think of any other reason that I would reach for this product. I was hesitant to share my thoughts because everyone else seems to love it, but my experience with the product was not amazing.

Trudijoy gimmicky is the perfect word to describe it. It's not a bad product, I just don't have a place for it in my routine. xx
