This is a high quality super pigmented matte liquid lipstick. I bought the shade child star as I thought It was the perfect nude but it went a pale almost beige nude. I find most of the too faced lipsticks in the nude colours to be quite brown. It came with a sponge brush applicator and applies really well. It dries to a matte finish and doesn't rub off and sets in about 1 minute. It lasts nearly all day better then most long lasting lipsticks I've used. It's a bit drying so if you don't like dry matte lipstick you could put a glass over it. But I like matte

Using exclusive technology to keep cauldrons of molten lipsticks liquid and creamy, Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipstick comfortably coats lips in bursts of intense, high-impact, super rich, saturated color that lasts for hours.
- Too Faced Co-Founder and Creative Director Jerrod Blandino had never seen lipstick more beautiful, intense, rich and glossy than when it’s in its melted form in the cosmetic labs. With this inspiration, we created a lipstick liquified so it doesn’t lose its pigment or shine while keeping a comfortable, flexible and cushiony wear.
- Provides high-impact, super rich, saturated pigment in a long-wear formula.

Love this formula! Very durable but doesn't feel drying on the lips, lips look slightly glossy and it feels semi hydrating while you wear them. Cute packaging and a nice range of colours to choose from.
Unfortunately the applicator can get a little messy if you accidently squeeze to much product out of the tube.
Also has a matte range which is longer wearing on the lips. Cool Girl and Poppin Corks are both beautiful colours in the matte line.
This was the first melted lipstick i remember being released, and it seems like it created a new trend, which is amazing. I will always say too faced is a company who is creative and innovative, and leads the way in the beauty world. Just a personal opinion.
This liquid lipstick is packaged to perfection. The colour i have is fig, and it comes in a purple plastic squeeze tube, with the words melted down the side. The packaging is embellished with hint of metallic gold lid.
The design of this product is a little different for a lipstick. once you twist off the lid, you see a slanted white foam tip applicator. and when you squeeze the lipstick, the lipstick is released through tiny little holes within the sponge. A really unqiue design, but i find it so easy to apply lipstick with precision using this, so another bonus.
The lipstick in fig is a purple mauvey colour, which is my favourite colour to wear of lips. The formula is pigmented and creamy. Not to mention long-lasting. However, it is also very drying, so remember to exfoliate and moisturize your lips beforehand.
One negative about this product is it is not completely matte, and it does seem to transfer onto things such as my cup, so it doesnt completely set. Still i do love how it looks.
Overall, i really like this lipstick, and would love to try more from this range.
I received a couple of these in deluxe mini sizes in the Too Faced Christmas Cracker a couple of Christmases ago. These aren’t matte like your usual liquid lipsticks. These are a satin finish and are very comfortable to wear. However due to the finish, these aren’t long wearing at all. They do wear off and transfer. So long as you don’t mind reapply, they are great. I had the shade Chihuahua and Melted Fig which I both loved. The minis have lasted me ages so I would consider buying the full size of both of these shades.
Like any matte liquid lippie, this is definitely drying. I absolutely need to give my lips a good coat of vaseline a few minutes before applying my Melted lipstick. A good liner will also help colour not to bleed into fine lines around your mouth, although I haven't had major issues with that.
But once you've prepped your lips, the colour payoff and longevity of these colours is amazing. I don't even need to fully coat my lips with product, I just dab a few dots on and then spread it evenly with a brush or my fingers. After eating and drinking, it still looks great!
I have this in "Melted Nude". I don't know why it's described as glossy because it appears matte on my lips.
The applicator feels nice and applies an even coating to my lips. I'm able to get a sharp lip line with this. The formula is long lasting, highly pigmented and not drying, however it is not transfer proof. It has a subtle sweet scent.
I would love to try the other colours.
Tips: Apply straight from the tube, no need for brushes or lip liners.
I have had the good faced violet for a few months now and I love the staying powder of these lipsticks! The first time I wore mine was a night out clubbing, I didn't have to reapply and it did not bleed out. It's so hard to find a good lipstick that stays on and looks good. These are worth the price. Though I find it hard to get a defined line with the applicator so I line my lips first then use a lip brush
I have these in the original and the new metallic versions.
Currently owned shades: Melted Villain, Melted Chihuahua, Metallic Melted Violet and Metallic Melted Jelly.
These cute lip products come in a tube container made out of flexible yet strong plastic with a metallic golden lid, the outer body of the tube is the colour of the product or what the inside should look like on your lips, this however varies slightly with each person. Inside the nib point of the tub has a foamy cushion tip that has 5-6 little holes in the centre, squeeze the tube and the liquid lipstick seeps up through these holes onto the application pad for you to smooth onto your lips. Application is easy with this foam pad you simply swipe it back and forth and the creamy liquid inside evenly applies to your lips. There has been no feathering or drying effects from this formula as it doesn't dry matte like some liquid lipsticks but stays in a soft sheen state, especially the metallic versions which has a soft metal effect that looks wet on the lips but doesn't move around on your lips much at all.
Wearing these colours is very comfortable as they don't rub off quickly but keep an almost buttery softness to your lips. lasting a good 3-4 hours before touch up is needed unless you eat or drink which is reasonable for this type of lipstick. There is no stickiness or drying from these lipsticks and I have been really impressed by just how they look as packaged as well as on my lips.
Quick recap of shades owned:
Villain - Intense plum purple that sits on the lips with a hint of deep blue to it, this is the most firmest liquid out of all owned but still it is not hard to apply and remains sheen and buttery on the lips.
Chihuahua - A nice beige nude colour that is slightly on the orange side, or so it appears on my fair skin
Metallic Jelly - A soft purple with a silver metallic effect that keeps a wet look on the lips without the sticky effect of a gloss
Metallic Violet - Appears as a light pink shade rather than violet coloured with a silver metallic effect that gives that wet look without gloss effect. This is my least favourite of the 4 owned due to the pink shade not being that complimentary to my skin tone.
I brought this off another BR beauty, and I'm glad I did. I have wanted to try these for the longest time. I was always cautious though because I always associate liquid lipsticks with matte and drying. While this isn't matte it is slightly drying.
The packaging is nice, a nude colour that matches the colour of the lipstick with a big gold lid. I love that this comes in a tube. I can be rough on my make up when it gets thrown from bag to vehicle to makeup box to shelf to pocket and this tube has survived.
Being a liquid lipstick I know I have to be prepared and scrub my lips first then apply a reasonable amount of lip balm. The tube has a soft sponge type tip that is angled and I find it makes applying it very easy. It applies easily and doesn't go on streaky or patchy.
The formula seems quite thick and sticky at first but once it dries I can't really notice it. It has a gorgeous shine and the colour for me is the perfect nude. It is slightly drying even with lip balm, I have noticed it slightly transfers but nothing major as this lipstick lasts for 3 hours before I need a touch up even when I eat.
Overall I like it and want to try more in this range.
I was so grateful to be given this lipstick from a beautiful BR babe. The shade she gifted me is Melted Fuchsia, such a vibrant pink.
It comes in a small fuchsia coloured tube with a gold lid and writing. Very pretty.
It is super easy to apply and didn't bleed on my lips either which is great. The staying power is amazing! Lasting for around 6 hours before it needed to be touched up.
I did however find it to be quite drying as it is a matte lipstick so I suggest applying lip balm before hand and at the end of the day to keep your lips hydrated.
I personally feel that the price is high considering that it is such a small tube which is the only reason why I won't be purchasing any other shades :( but it's Too Faced which is a fabulous brand and I would highly recommend it.
