Has its upsides and downsides

This is super easy to apply and is a really handy staple for a quick morning routine but I find this tends to come off so easily. I could understand if it was sweating off but anything that comes near your face gets makeup on it.

Anyone not tried this?

This was one of my first make up items. It seemed ok at the time if dealt with with a light hand. I doubt it would suit light skin tones. I still remember touching my face and seeing it on my fingers! Not something I'd purchase now but was acceptable when I was a teenager!

Very Dark

I have quite fair skin and find that this is a product I have to use very sparingly otherwise I end up looking like an oompa loompa! I tend to only really use it on my nose & t-zone and only use a very, very light dusting

Tips: Don't be heavy handed with it!

Hmm, yep, me too! I have olive skin and have only used it a handful of times... I found it was useful as a light dusting, but other than that, I wouldn't use it in the ways they advertise it! I agree with your tip.

Thin Lizzy

I first tried this when I began to use make up. I really didn't like it all over my face as it left me with a muddy orange face. But i really enjoy using it in my daily eye shadow look as it compliments my light blue eyes.

Thin Lizzy 6 in 1 Professional Powder Set

I didn't really like this as it reacted to my skin and I broke out in a rash. I would definitely try the mineral version of Thin Lizzy as it is a good bronzer just a little too glittery for me. Good price and you get a set of 2 which is even better.

Every time I've tried it out I face feels irritated and like it's burning and then I break out really bad that day. Thanks to the bismuth oxychloride in the Thin Lizzy powder products.

My first ever make up

Thin Lizzy was my first ever make up I brought. I thought this 6 in 1 was amazing. I was like 13 when I bought this, a sales lady in auckland was letting people use it, well she put it on us to show us the difference it made and I couldnt believe it. I had to have it. I thought it was a deal at that price. I did use it all the time and i also brought a few more when the first one ran out. However, I didnt give me the glow I wanted when I grew up and I also found out there was more brands out there. Personally the mineral product is alot better than this 6 in 1. I havnt brought this recently and I probably wont.

Thin lizzy...

Not sure what the powder set is supposed to be good for.. It seems to highlight problems let alone provide coverage whatsoever. Would not invest any more money into this.

Not what I expected..

After watching the ads on TV, I bought some Thin Lizzy. I found that it didnt give the coverage that I wanted! I have quite fair skin and it left me looking orange! I had to use quite a bit and ended up with a 'caked' make up look.

It's pretty average

In the makeup artist community, we all generally think that Thin Lizzy is pretty average. It's no different to any other average bronzer. Thin Lizzy looks better on dark skin tones. It looks horrible on pale or fair skin. The light shade can be used as a basic powder foundation on dark skin only. The dark shade can be used as bronzer/contour/lip/eyeshaddow etc on dark skin only. The light shade can be used as the bronzer/contour etc etc on tanned skin. It looks too dark and orange on fair/pale skin. I use it occasionally on myself as a contour. I have very pale skin, and use it very sparingly. With the right technique (as I'm a makeup artist) it can look good. In general... if you aren't particularly skilled... it can turn out really bad.

Tips: When applying, use sparingly. Build up colour if you want it darker. Blend really well.

It is what it is

I regularly use Thin Lizzy and have for some time but I'm still not sure it does anything. The adverts show a change in skintone but I feel that I would have to cake my neck and face in it to achieve the same look. I will continue to use it until it runs out but I am not sure I will run out to replace it.
