Trilogy Certified Organic Rosehip Oil review

To begin with I was a little worried about putting this on my semi oily/acne prone skin. But I am so surprised. It leaves my skin feeling super soft and moisturised. I had a couple of burns from the fire, so popped some if this on them and the scaring has really been reduced.

I love, love, love this product. It is great for dry skin, and smells much nicer than a lot of the rosehip oils out there (I should know, I tried them all). I got it to help heal a scar on my face and noticed an improvement in redness after one week. It continued to fade the mark, which was from an oil burn. I always apply it after my shower at night as I find it absorbs better, by the morning my skin is nourished and glowing.

Sometimes products are overhyped, then you buy them and they under deliver. I had my fingers crossed that Trilogy Rosehip Oil wouldn't be one... and it isn't.

I played with my Mum's bottle over Xmas, then bought my own in January, then got a second bottle for my birthday. With two bottles at my disposal I've been able to experiment and I have discovered that:

- my facial skin loves this as a spot treatment, but gets a bit oily if I use it as a whole-face moisturiser - scars and scratches heal super fast with a little rosehip oil each day - rosehip oil makes an incredible hair mask/serum

The bottle looks classy, the product smells lovely, it's a non greasy oil that isn't icky to use because of the oil aspect, and it's reasonably priced for a product that you only use a tiny bit of at a time. Nature creates the best products sometimes, and Trilogy have really nailed bottling and onselling one such product.

This worked extremely well on my stretchmarks, however was very expensive. After I finished this bottle, I bought pure rosehip oil elsewhere for much cheaper, I felt ripped off that I paid so much for Trilogy.

I missed out on getting to trial this but I just wanted to see what it was like so went and purchased it and I am so glad I did!

I got the larger size based on value for money and it already seems like it is going to last forever and I am not complaining.

I’ve started using it as a night time routine and it’s given me such a nice appearance and feels like its done something magical. Acne scars have become less visible and all over appearance is brighter.

It has so many uses and being pregnant I am planning on using this as my belly expands to prevent stretch marks.

This is an absolute delight for my skin, I use it every night before I go to bed and my skin simply adores it. I started using this product because I heard it worked great on acne scarring, and although my scarring hasn't completely gone, I can say this oil has made a dramatic improvement after several months of use. The oil is absorbed quickly into the skin which helps my dry skin a lot. Without this product my skin would be a mess, I will continue to purchase this product and I recommend it 100%

I love this oil so much, it is so versatile, and so beautiful. It really evens out my skin, and makes it so smooth! I like to use it at night, or before my moisturizer during the day. A little goes a long way!!

I love this! With continued use I saw a good improvement in acne scars, dark spots and skin texture. Have also seen amazing results from a very acne ridden client!

This rosehip oil is one of the best things I have ever put on my face. I didn't expect much of it, I thought it would just be a nice moisturiser and possibly less comdogenic than my Jojoba oil. But it has done so much more than I expected! It took about two weeks of morning and night application to see a serious difference, but the hyperpigmentation in my cheeks and around my nose has reduced significantly, my whole face is less red and my skintone is more even. It's slowly fading some acne scars, I assume that will take a lot longer but I am noticing some difference. My skin is pretty normal, sometimes I think it gets a bit oily but I moisturise very well as I'm always scared of my skin being dry and I like the plump feeling after moisturising. Using this oil has not made my skin any oilier, even using it alongside the moisturisers I normally use, and it makes my skin extra soft. I believe this would be good for all skin types, even oily skin. It has a pleasant, very light scent, but contains no fragrances so it is not at all irritating. It also says not to use on open or cracked skin, but I have accidently and noticed no irritation or any adverse effects.
