Thursday Plantation Lavender Oil

I am not a huge fan of lavender at all, however I have trouble sleeping and I was at my wits end so got some of this so I could put a few drops in a nice warm bath before bed.

It comes in a cute wee bottle with a screw on lid. You only need a few drops of this as it is quite potent. The warmth of the bathroom helps bring out the smell. I like to light a candle and sit back and relax.

The scent has definitely grown on me, I find it quite calming and it puts me in a nice state before bedtime. Although it has not solved all my sleeping issues it certainly helps and I will continue using it.

I love Lavender! Since I was six years old and my grandmother took me to a Lavender Farm I have been obsessed. It is beauty gold to me. So its no surprise in my adult life, I use it for all my stress and anxiety needs. This brand is lovely. No fake additives, just a true extract which captures that perfect lavender scent. Because its pure it also means a little goes a really long way! And I can get it with the groceries - what's not to love.

Have purchased a few of this brands lavender oil as it’s very concentrated and keeps the scent in the air for ages. It’s not too expensive and the bottle lasts a long time.

This lavender seems very pure and is strong so you only need a really tiny amount. I've tried lots of different lavender essential oils and it's always interesting that they seem to all smell slightly different. This one is great for medicinal purposes but isn't necessarily my favourite smelling one. Just my personal preference.

A great natural alternative to an air freshener. Fill a spray bottle with water and a few drops of lavender oil and you have a calming air freshener. This can also be used neat on insect bites to calm the itch. This is a staple in our home.

I love this product so much and use it all the time. Main uses for us are a few drops mixed with baking soda for a carpet deodoriser, or added to the laundry as a sanitiser/fabric softener by adding a few drops of lavender and eucalyptus oil to a generous swish of white vinegar. It provides a glorious and relaxing scent infused in our garments and linen and carpet.

I use this oil every single day and some times throughout the day. This is one of the most used items in my house and I just wish I could buy it in a larger quantity just because of how much I use it. I splash it on the beds, pillows, linen, I use it on my face in baths on any sores, scratches or bites. This is my treat I have to have. I love the smell and know it helps me to relax sit is aso great for use in the kids hair like tea tree to stop the, catching nits shud there be any at their school.
