Oasis Beauty Straight Up Serum Review

This was the first time I've tried a serum and I'm really glad I bit the bullet and did. I have oily, acne prone skin that constantly has breakouts!

After cleansing and toning I would apply half a pump to my skin and massage in.This didn't make my skin feel more oily but I did found that it did take a while to sink in.

This product doesn't break me out, but then I'm not sure if it really made my skin any clearer either. Whenever my skin was having a freak, this helped to calm my skin down and stop from getting any worse and that's what we want right!?

It's a small bottle but lasts ages. It's only just almost run out now, and I brought it about 4 months ago. Pretty good for the price you pay.

I want to try out some other serums but if I can't find anything else I will most likely repurchase! I would undoubtedly recommend this to any one with oily problem skin. If your still not sure Oasis do a great thing where you can get three free samples to try out which last at least a week. Plus with every order you make, you can request another sample. Bonus!

I was hugely sceptical about this product, but decided to take advantage of Oasis' SUPER generous trial sizes to give it a go. Wow. WOW.

My skin is oily and breakout prone. I use this when it's a bit angry, and it calms it overnight.

The Oasis Straight Up Serum is non-greasy and lightly scented. It absorbs quickly into skin without leaving a residue (I only use it at night).

The oil is a clear yellow, but that colour dissipates on the skin and does not last.

I have used this on new breakouts, existing breakouts, upcoming breakouts and scarring from previous breakouts and it's very, very good. In as little as one use you can see a difference, and because a few drops covers your whole face I'm *still* using my trial sample 2 months later.

$40 pricetag or not, this is one product I will *definitely* replace when it runs out.

I've used serums in the past, but was a little skeptical about this one as it is an oil and I have oily skin. But then I remembered how well the Oil Cleansing Method works for me and gave it a go anyway.

I began using this serum a week before my brother's wedding as I'd been battling for 4 weeks with a sudden acne breakout over my cheeks and nothing seemed to be helping. I had nothing to lose and wasn't really expecting any miracles, but wow! this serum really does work. By the end of the week my skin was clear and blemish free, just in time for the family wedding photoshoot!

Even thought it's an oil, it's non-greasy and is absorbed quickly into the skin. I found that 4 drops from the little sample bottle was sufficient to do both my face and neck and the subtle jasmine fragrance is really beautiful.

I only applied the serum at night and did this by placing 4 drops into the palm of one hand, then gently rubbed my hands together before patting the oil over my face and neck. I gently massaged the warmed oil into my skin until all of it was absorbed. I chose not to apply a moisturiser on top as the serum was sufficient for my oily skin, but I did apply an eye cream.

Be careful if you use this serum in the morning, as applying an oil to your face can promote sun damage. If you do choose to use it in the morning, make sure to apply a good quality sunscreen on top.

This serum is like WOW!. Multitasking at its finest. I have never really tried a serum before, after reading the article by BR, I decided to give it a go. The Oasis Beauty Straighten Up is a life saver. I literally put some on my breakouts one night and they next morning the pimples were gone. So happy with the results :)

As for the rest of my skin, this serum left it feeling soft and nourished. I like how it has vitamins A, C and E in it too. I have had a very pleasant experience with this, It didn't break me out or make my skin oily. It has made it into my skincare routine and my skin has never looked and felt so good. I recommend trying this. Its skin changing.

I've never used a serum before but after reading about them on Beauty Review, and the benefits of using oil on oily skin I decided to try one out. I received the Straight Up Serum as a free sample from Oasis Beauty.

The formula was almost a cross between an oil and a liquid, light and silky. It smelled lovely and 'natural', with hints of the tea tree and other essential oils it contains. I applied a few drops of this after cleansing and toning and massaged the serum into my skin, you really only need the smallest amount - don't over-do it. I could still feel it sitting on my skin afterwards, but instead of the icky feeling I would get from something like Bio-Oil, this instead felt really hydrating, like my skin was receiving a power-pack of nourishment. I have acne-prone skin with redness and when I use this at night in the morning my skin really does look so much better. So far it hasn't irritated my skin or caused any breakouts, which is a win-win for me.

I will definately be purchasing this in the future as it seems to be having a really great effect on my skin, and I love that it's a natural product which gives my skin a break from it's normally chemical-ridden anti-acne regime.

I really love this serum. A little goes a long way. I use it once a week. It has a fresh tea tree smell which I really like. Although it is an oil being put on your face it absorbs really well. My skin always feels fresher and I think it is clearer.

Firstly, I have to say I was very skeptical about using this product. I have combination skin and where I get oily patches I get really oily! For me it didn't make sense applying an oil-based serum on my oily prone skin. I however tried it at night time and was amazed. I had been telling my friends it won't work on my skin but decided to give it a go in the safety of my home at night and after a week of using this product I was shocked at how well it worked. My skin felt so clean and dewy every time I applied it and massaged into my skin. It left my skin feeling soft in the morning and it didn't irritate my skin at all. I did notice though that it does make my skin noticeably shiny after I put it on so I would only use in the evening. It does however, feel light and absorbs really well into the skin.

Received this as a free sample from Oasis Beauty and I couldn't be more pleased with it! I like to apply it after cleansing at night, just before I go to sleep to let it seep into my skin overnight. It smells great, and it really did make my skin feel great. I didn't break out at all after using this and I love the fact it is packed with essential oils! It only took a few drops to cover my whole face, so it does last a long time.

I had used all of the other Oasis products and had worked them in to my daily cleaning regime nicely. I was keen to try this product but was scared due to my incredibly oily skin. But, I tried it and I absolutely love it!

I use it at night time right before bed and will apply half a pump to each cheek, half a pump to my forehead and half a pump to my nose and chin and this amount of product (even though it seems like a lot) makes me wake up with beautifully soft and pimple free skin. I use this about 3 times a week (every second day) and the results are amazing. No more break outs. It is also good because I put a lot on at night but I never wake up with a greasy pillow and it doesn't make my hair any oilier either.
