I recieved this night cream in the 'It's all about you' BBBE. I probably wouldn't have purchased this individualy myself because it's not specifically anti-age targeted, which is one of the most important things for me in what I want from a night cream, and skin care products in general. I had tried a skin care product from this brand before and liked it but wasn't particuarly fond, this one is pretty much in that same boat.
This cream is thick and heavy. It has a mildly sweet fragrance, I can smell the honeysuckle flower and avocado, it's a nice and light, comforting scent for night time.
On my face this cream feels slightly filmy as it's quite heavy/dense, I definitely feel the need to cleanse my face in the morning after sleeping with this cream on, which isn't something that I always do. The main/good thing though, is that my skin looks quite good in the morning with the cream, it's reasonably smooth and soft.
I like the thick glass jar with an aluminium covered lid that this cream is packaged in, it has a quality look and feel to it.
I think that this night cream is a good option for someone in their late teens - early 20's as it's natural, pleasant, reasonably priced and readily available at the supermarket. For me personally it's just not quite what I'm after in a night cream, but I don't certainly don't mind using it all up in the mean time.
I bought this product when I had to stay overnight out of town unexpectedly, with no toiletries..quelle horreur! what to do? I went to Countdown and I found this lovely night cream, under the Goodness range. I had already purchased the body wash and found it to be delightful, so felt confident to try the night cream. It has a light texture that flows on easily; this is important to me, as I don't like products that drag on the skin. It has a light fresh fragrance, that is not over-powering, also important..who wants their night cream to overpower their French parfum? My skin soaked it up, and felt lovely in the morning.
Tips: Combine this evening cream with a rose-hip oil, by applying oil then letting the cream soak in.
