I'm currently using a big tub of this lotion.I got it at the end of last year from lush, I think it only comes out at Christmas time.
This comes packaged in the standard lush tub. It has clear best before dates and even which lush member made it! Also once you have 5 of these tubs empty, you can take them back to lush for a free face mask. Such a cool rewards programme, I just wish I had a lush store where I live!
This lotion has such an incredible scent. It is described on the label as being zesty and bright, I feel like this is quite accurate. it's not in your face citrus, but just so appealing. I could sit there and sniff this pot for ages.
This is a creamy white colour and is very thick but also very soft so it will spread easily over your body. I don't need to use a huge amount, so this pot has lasted me a while. What I really dislike, and is the ultimate point of me not wanting to repurchase is that it feels really sticky after you put it on and that feeling lasts a while. I love using thicker body products as my skin is dry but I prefer stuff that absorbs instantly or within a minute or so. I pretty much live in skinny jeans and these are not so fun to put on straight after using this product.
I so wish lush would reformulate this as I adore the scent so much. They have better lotion formulas than this so I don't see why they can't change it up a little! I'm not really sure that I could recommend this to someone unless you just want a tub to sniff or if you really like that sticky feeling!
I’m not entirely sure where I got this from now, possibly the beauty vault, but I found it recently in the back of drawer – surprising seeing as I love Lush products.
I noticed it said it was best before July – oops it's October now! Anyway I opened the black, screw top pottle it to see if it was still alright. I was greeted by the smell YUM!. It is kind of fruity but not exactly citrus – which may be because of its age (eek).Anyway, it is lovely, and lingers on the skin.
I loved the buttery feel of the thick, white, cream when I was rubbing it on my skin. BUT sadly, like most other people, I found it very greasy and after 15 minutes of rubbing my hands, I gave in and washed it off. I have to say though, my hands were soft after I’d dried them, and the scent was still very strong. So while it definitely is too greasy, it is still usable.
I don’t think I’d buy it, it really is too greasy for me, and I haven’t really thought of a suitable alternative use for it. Sad though, it really does smell lovely.
