Evolu Facial Toner Review

I received this in my br vault and I’ve been using it regularly ever since. I personally loved the smell straight away! You can smell the rose extract in it. To me, it smells just like a lovely fresh rose... And what’s not to like about the smell of fresh roses? Lovely!

It also has no nasty chemicals or harsh alcohols in it, which is the other reason I really enjoy using this toner. A lot of Evolu products are a pleasure to use and this one is no exception (I really like their relaxing creme cleanser too).

This toner is really refreshing to use and I spritz it on to my face once a day before applying my moisturiser & then makeup.

I got this in the br vault and when it arrived I tried it the next day, then put it away for a few months haha. This was all because I was put off by the fragrance which is similar to potpourri (not my fave scent in the world).

Fast forward 3 months I pulled it back out and gave it another chance. The months are heating up, summer is on its way and my skin is now becoming more oily! Great!

After cleansing I spray about 6 times (twice as much as I probably should) but hey it cools my face down and feels nice to apply.

Minus the fragrance, which I'm slowly adjusting to. It's a good little product and I've noticed a huge change in my skin with it being more clearer and 'tighter' which is great. It helps tone down my oilyness, just wish it was longer lasting (my skins fault for being so oily!)because I find myself spraying throughout the day.. woops!

All in all perfect product for all seasons and would be amazing on long haul trips to.

I received the Evolu Facial Toner in one the BBBE Cruelty Free Edition. It comes in a plastic spray bottle and the facial toner smells amazing like a bouquet of roses. It’s made with no nasty chemicals or harsh alcohol and made in New Zealand. The toner is supposed to repair, protect and renew the skin.

I spritzed the toner after I’ve cleansed my face during the morning and night. I have oily skin and without drying the skin, it mattified the oil on my face. I let the toner absorb into my skin for a couple of minutes before I applied moisturiser. My skin felt very supple and refreshed every time I used it. After a couple of weeks, I started to notice my skin looked livelier and more vibrant. I love it!

I would recommend it and the price seems reasonable as well, especially since it did wonders to my skin. It’s great that it also has the good the stuff to promote a healthy skin such as aloe vera, omega 6 and enzymes.

My new favourite toner! This one ticks all the boxes; hydrating (but not oily), refreshing and has an amazing scent. The price is a little high for a toner, but i am willing to pay it. I first received this toner from the beauty vault, but have since purchased 2 more as i love it!

I picked up the Evolu toner spray in a BR vault. I don't use toner as such, so used it as I use my normal rosewater spray - from the fridge, morning and night, post cleansing.

Evolu has a great (and deserved) reputation for quality skincare using natural ingredients. This spray I found refreshing, but with very little impact on skin balance etc. In short, what it achieved was actually no better than myHG Mario Badescu spray - and I prefer the scent of the Mario Badescu.

The bottle seemed a little on the cheap side to me - not quite the stylish packaging I was expecting, but I had a smaller size so perhaps thats why.

The cloudiness of the actual liquid when I decanted it for travel was unusual - possibly due to one or more of the natural ingredients?

The spray was a little heavy handed, which I felt was potentially wasteful for a product that isn't cheap.

The scent was quite strongly botanical, which is not my preference for facial spray.

In short, were I given it, I'd use it, but i won't be buying a replacement. It's not a terrible product by any stretch, it's just that I can get one I like better for cheaper.

This product came up in the Beauty Vault and as I now apparently love spray toners I couldn’t pass it up. I didn’t realize the size I have is travel sized but after using it maybe every second day since the vault (last year!) it’s still at least half full. If that’s not an indication on how good this is for your money, I don’t know what is.

Evolu is a brand I don’t know much about, I have a travel size of their face moisturizer but it’s in a drawer waiting to be used. Their packaging is quite simple and natural looking. It appeals to my eye for no other reason but because it’s just simple and plain Jane, nothing overly fancy.

The toner is clear and sprays out really nicely and evenly. A lot of the time I get spray toners that kinda squirt mist at my face and it’s rather unpleasant. This is just a fine mist and that’s fine by me! The scent of this is a really nice rose, it’s like when you spray this on your face you’re burying your face in a bouquet of roses. It’s really nice, until the mist cloud surrounds you and the rose gets into your lungs and you have a coughing fit – that part I don’t like. I’ve started using this outside to get the scent bubble to get away faster but I usually always have a coughing fit when I use this spray.

My face does actually look and feel nicer after using this spray, or maybe it’s just a trick of the mind. Either way, it’s really nice… other than the coughing fits. It hasn’t broken me out or caused my skin to do anything crazy, so I’m really quite tempted to check out more of their range.

This toner comes in a lovely squirt clear plastic bottle with Evolu's nice fern colour label which always reminds me they use natural products with no nasty chemicals and made in NZ . The spray is easy to use and a couple of squirts is sufficient to cover so very economical. I have the smaller size of 50 mlswhich is lasting well so with full size 150 mls the price is realistic at $35 . The spray has a pleasant rose scent and after cleansing a couple of squirts makes my skin feel really fresh and I do notice less puffy so I feel I am putting my best face forward for the day. As I have dry skin I have notice this definately helps refuce flakiness and gives my moisturiser a good start for best benefits.I love using after I have been working outside as a refresher too as it has a lovely cooling effect. I am really happy with this toner and will be looking to purchase in the future.

I had been using an Avon toner forever and came across the travel size of this in the vault, thought why not!

I didn't lose out on this one! It's made a visible difference to the size of my pores and the crop of blackheads that like to reside on my chin have started to clear!

It doesn't dry out my skin and feels refreshing. I do like the idea of a traditional toner you wipe on, but the novelty of the spray format is pretty fun and it takes up less space on the bathroom counter because i don't also need to have the jar of cotton wipes next to it.

Feels great after using am micellar water in the morning and moisturises really nicely. I'm definately buying this. I love it.

I picked this beauty up from the last beauty vault. I only just started getting into toners when I purchased one of the Beauty boxes.

The bottle itself is made of plastic . Evolu has their distinct labelling that’s easy to read . Consistency is fluid. Scent wise reminds me of fresh lavender mixed with Sage.

I like to use this toner after I’ve cleansed my skin . Instantly y skin apears brighter and ready for my moisturiser to go on top. Sometimes I use it for a pick me up . Couple of sprays to freshen up .

Overall I was really surprised at how well this toner is working for me . I can see myself using this again.

So I got this in the beauty vault, kind of just because I wanted to use some points and this was there. Well I love love love it and it’s the first time I’ve really stuck with a toner. I cleanse then spritz a little lightly over my face, then moisturize and bed. And my skin is loving me for it. Really easy to apply, feels great on my skin, and it’s looking the best it has in ages.

Love that it’s nz made and cruelty free, and love the simple clean packaging!
