Oasis Beauty Sun SPF 30+ Review

I've been using the Oasis Sunscreen now for a couple of weeks. The container is easy to carry with a flip lid and stands up with the lid facing downwards so when you open it; it comes out without having to push too much.

In the school holidays we were going on walks every second day and my daughter and I were using the Oasis Sun each time we went out. We found it very easy to spread onto our face, arms and legs. I didn't mind the smell, but my daughter did mention she didn't like it. We found if we reapplied the sunscreen every two hours like the instructions said then we didn't get burnt. Once on a walk, I didn't take it with me and we did come home quite red faced with the heat of the sun after a whole day out.

I have also tested this out on the rest of the family who play tennis and the boys' liked it as it was so easy to apply, not too runny and we all found it excellent. My skin is sensitive, but I had no problem at all with Oasis Sun.

i have used this product on all of my family members and was very excited to see that it can also be used on babies as we have a 1 year old in our family.

my partner works outside for his job and has been using this on his face and arms, he likes that it doesn't clog up his pores as his skin is prone to acne. He found it very easy to apply and wasnt much trouble to wash off in the shower.

My 2 sons also used this product 1 is a busy daycare boy who is outside about 60% of the day and i found it very quick and simple to apply to him usually he gripes and moans because of the fragerance some lotions have but not with this one so it was very easy to pop on his skin before daycare.

My 11 year old is also applying this before school and he commented that unlike the other sun lotions we have had this one does not leave a thick white 'skin' as he would put it so definetly a hit with the kids.

at first i was a little apprehensive about applying ti to my face as i have sensitive skin but there was no issues and it was very easy to wash off. Overall I highly reccomend this product its a very good all round sun lotion for the whole family which is great saves money not having to buy different sun lotions.

I was very happy to get this product to trial, I had JUST run out of my last bottle of sunscreen so it was perfect timing. Firstly I like the tube, nice and sturdy, good cap, stands up straight and fits easily in my collection of products. This product goes a long way, I find I use alot less of it than my previous sunscreen. Rather than that usual feeling of sunscreen on the skin, this product just feels like you have used moisturiser on your skin which is really nice and not sticky at all. I used it on my face and it felt fine, not sticky or un-natural like a mask. The smell isn't particularly appealing but it doesn't last on the skin so it doesn't bother me at all. And most importantly, it does it's job and prevents sunburn. This product is more expensive than other sunscreens but if you really prefer natural skin products I think this is a good choice, it doesn't stain white clothes either (which is an issue I have dealt with before). I will happily continue to use this product I think I will repurchase also.

I got my first tube a while ago, as I wanted something that would protect my skin from the sun but without all of the chemicals. When you first put it on it is white, but it very quickly soaks into your skin and doesn't leave a greasy residue. The added bonus is that I can use it on all of the family, even my six month old. It is more expensive than supermarket sunscreen, but it beats buying a separate product for each family member. The only downside is that it washes off with heavy perspiration or swimming, so you do need to remember to reapply it regularly.

First off - I love the smell, I can't quite pinpoint it but I am guessing its the rosemary in the Sunscreen.

I received it very fast! Which was great. More time to trial!

It hasn't been very sunny where I live. But I still applied it everyday, to see its other qualities.

I did not react to it which was great because I do seem to have a reaction to most Sunscreens. It left my skin nice and soft, and did not leave a sticky residue which was great.

On one of the very few days it was sunny, I wore a short dress for trial purposes and applied a reasonable amount to my arms, legs and chest. Surprisingly my extremely pale skin, did not turn or burn.

I really so love this product, I love the smell, I love how I do not react and I love how it actually works!!!

Love love LOVE this sunscreen! I was lucky enough to be chosen to trial this product and have been using it as an everyday moisteriser before applying my makeup. A little totally goes a long way, It isnt the most affordable but definately worth every penny, packaging is nice and simple, and my inner hippy loves that theres no nasties ^.^ It is super moisterising, non greasy and gives a dewy finish. I have blemish prone skin and it hasnt broken me out, infact my skin has actually been really good and alot brighter lately. I love that its for the whole family, I also used it on my oldest daughter who suffers from terrible eczema and the sunscreen didnt irritate or flare it up like other sunscreens and creams do. Would definately use this again and reccomend everyone to give it a go esp those with problamatic skin.

I've been really wanting to try this product ever since I saw it on the market as I'm a sun-lover but have yet to find a sunscreen I love, so picked this up recently before a holiday to sunny Australia. I'm a sun-lover who loves lying on the beach, but these days working in healthcare I am a lot more conscious of sun safety so wanted something that would protect my skin without the heavy, greasy feeling most sunscreens provide.

The first thing I noticed about Oasis Beauty Sun is the consistency of the formula, it's a light lotion instead of a heavy cream, similar to a body lotion. I found if you applied a smaller amount at a time (as opposed to the huge dollops my boyfriend uses!) then the sunscreen absorbed pretty easy. Afterwards there was no greasy feeling or dodgy white cast yay (unless I really slathered it on of course!).

I have oily, acne-prone skin and normally I HATE wearing actual sunscreen on my face as it ends up a greasy mess. Oasis Sun is the first sunscreen I'm happy to wear on my face.

Sunscreen wouldn't be worth it if it didn't perform though, luckily Oasis Sun does! I have medium-toned skin and one day at the beach I had previously applied sunscreen to my chest and arms and completely forgot my stomach. A painful burnt belly followed but my arms and chest were fine, so at least I learnt it does the job!

Last notes - I also like that it's a physical sunscreen, cruelty-free and a New Zealand made product. The squeeze tube packaging is also really convenient for chucking in a beach bag.

This is now my sunscreen of choice and I highly recommend it to everyone.

I purchased this while looking for a more natural sunscreen safe enough to use on my babies excema. This product really delivers, with natural ingredients, spf 30, non greasy, rubs in really well without a thick sunscreen slick like most and being safe enough for my babies skin, what's not to love! This is definitely the best sunscreen on the market and well worth the price.

My search for my holy grail sunscreen is over, as you can't get better than this oasis sunscreen!

I was looking for a sunscreen especially for my little 21 month old daughter to protect her from the harsh auckland sun. The sunscreen I had previously was supposed to be for sensitive skin, but using it on my daughters face she rubbed some into her eye and it became irritated and I just wasn't happy with the formula.

So, what do I do in my search to find a fantastic sunscreen? Research sunscreens on BR of course, and Oasis sunscreen sounded amazing. Off to the website I went and ordered a small 50ml version, perfect to pop into the pram or my small bag. I also wanted to make sure it was right for us, before jumping in to purchase the large size.

The packaging is stylish and sleek, with its orange and yellow colouring and flip top cap. Convenient and secure packaging which does not leak- just perfect to pop in your bag.

The sunscreen is white and has a lotion like consistency. It easily rubs into the skin and makes your skin feel lovely and moisturised. It doesn't leave an oily, whitish residue like other sunscreens can. It easily absorbs into your skin, you totally forget that you are wearing it- I've never had this with a sunscreen before!

It's quite pricey compared to other sunscreens on the market, but definitely worth it in my opinion-this a top quality product.

I have always been slightly wary of sunscreen, as I have eczema prone skin. But this product has caused me no irritation and has been so gentle on my skin.

This sunscreen is perfect, it protects us so well from the sun and perfect for sensitive skin. I'm so particular what I put on my daughters skin, but Oasis have made a fantastic sunscreen here. I'm definitely happy and will never be without this sunscreen now for my daughter and myself. After applying sunscreen to my daughter she always ask for more, so that's definitely a winner product by my books.
