Wonderful when I was getting acne treatment (which causes really dry lips) I've only used the jar which has its own problems; in itself unrelated. But overall its wonderful! Simple and you can really feel it when it is moisturizing your lips, not just coating over it. I only wish they had more variety in flavors.

Carmex Lip Balm
Carmex lip balm contains a unique blend of ingredients, including natural moisturisers such as cocoa butter and lanolin. These and other emollients give you healthy-looking lips by moistening and preventing dryness and chapping associated with the effects of the environment.
Carmex helps to soothe, moisturise and relieve dry, chapped lips caused by the elements. Apply Carmex liberally and evenly as often as necessary throughout the day.
Carmex contains camphor and menthol. These ingredients give Carmex a cooling effect and soothe rough, chapped lips caused by environmental factors – encouraging a healthy appearance that feels as good as it looks.
Available in a jar, tube or stick.

Tips: Jar is just annoying and dirty when you think about it. Your putting your fingers in and putting to your lips. If you just decide to use the jar to rub it on, it becomes annoying when you've used it up!
I only recently discovered this on a friend's recommendation and I absolutely love it. It is the only lip balm which actually stays on my lips and absorbs itself rather than just sitting on top of my lips ( i have this problem with nivea, blistex, chapstick). The feeling of it is great, not sticky but still quite thick and nourishing. It also creates a tingly sensation when you first put it on which is lovely. When I have extremely dry lips, using this a few times during the day for a couple of days heals them perfectly :)
I prefer the tube version, its so easy to apply and no mess on the fingers like from the jar version but both are good. I find the stick one isn't the same consistency and doesn't work as well.
I get really badly cracked lips. I received a sample with my goodie box last month.
This is my new favorite chap lip remedy, I've now got lovely soft and hydrated lips, not one crack all winter.
Tips: A little goes a LoNG way
Recently went to Las Vegas, where the heat is beyond ridiculous. It felt like someone was blowing a fan heater directly onto my face.
My lips were so dry and cracked and all round disgusting due to the heat. Went to walgreens & found this lip balm in the tube (was a liquid formula as opposed to the one you get in a jar)
To put simply, it saved my life. After applying onto my lips they immediately started feeling cooler, hydrated and well, less disgusting. Though my lips were already cracked, applying this product healed it within a matter of hours.
The lip balm lasted for at least half a day, even whilst eating and drinking. You need a tiny amount to cover your lips - the product will last me a while!
Tips: If you're traveling to a hot place, this is a must to pack!
Carmex lip balm is definitely worth every cent you will spend on it. As soon as it is applied my lips feel relieved and refreshed. The menthol feels great! This product has always been very effective at soothing my dry, cracked lips and I also often apply it before bed.
I have incredibly dry/chapped lips and have since I was young. I've tried so many lip balms that I've lost count. I bought a three pack of these balms (original, cherry and strawberry) on a whim from ASOS, and wow. Nothing has ever made my lips feel so amazing.
Normally, with other balms, they would still be sore and chapped but it was better than using no product at all. When using this however, I have no soreness and after continuous use over a few hours, there's no flacking or peeling on my lips.
I honestly don't think I will be needing to try a different lip balm for a long, long time thanks to this product!
I received a s balm stick of Carmex as a gift and after looking it up, heard it was a "cult" American product. At the time, I had a nasty split in the corner of my lip that none of my usual treatments were helping. The Carmex helped to heal this and I could feel a big improvement overnight. The balm goes on quite thickly and I found the tingly menthol sensation quite strong - a bit unpleasant for me but characteristic of the balm so I "go with it". I really like the staying power of this product, it really makes my lips feel plump, juicy and moisturised and is pretty helpful in the healing stakes too. I'd buy it again.
Tips: Great overnight treatment, especially if you're getting ready to wear a bold lippy. Slather it on, sleep, then remove with a warm wet washcloth to gently take away excess dead skin from your lips before rehydrating and applying liner/lipstick. Winner!
I apply this every night before I go to bed and I always wake up with soft luscious lips! When you first apply there is a slight tingle and it does have a strong menthol smell/taste to it but I like that. When I say it tingles it never stings and I have very sensitive skin. It has repaired my lips from almost every situation including sun and wind burn. In terms of consistency and durability it's a thin clear consistency but it last a long time when I wake up its still on my lips.
Tips: Exfoliate your lips before you got to bed (I use lush bubblegum lip scrub) then add this for soft kissable lips every day!
Carmex turned my lips around in days. They were sore dry and flakey, nothing else fixed the problem except carmex. After just a couple applications I felt the difference. It has made my lips softer and smoother than ever before. My go to lip balm.
Tips: Just persevere with the initial tingling sensation after application. After using it for a couple days you know get the sensation. It is worth it
Generally fantastic softening lip balm. It has a pleasant slightly minty smell, which I think is from the menthol. It really does feel soothing and gentle on the lips, and works wonders for softening them.
The only reason this isn't my go-to lip balm is that I prefer a creamier balm than a gel-type like this.
