When I was 15, I bought a stick of Burt's Bees in Hawaii. It was my favourite thing in the world, I protected my Burt's Bees stick with my life and was DEVASTATED when it eventually got lost.
Burt's Bees is THAT good. I am delighted it is now widely available in New Zealand, and I don't have to buy the imitation. The lip tint is lovely.
The only downside is the colour selection isn't that great - i'd like to see a coral colour.
Tips: If you buy this lip balm - your man won't steal it! (big plus!!)
I absolutely adore this balm! My ultimate quest in life is to find the perfect lip balm and *touch wood* I think I have eeeeeee! I am a huge fan of Burt's Bees especially their balms so finding one in colour has made this stay at home muma's week. Perfect for a touch of colour for dashing out of the house and ultra moisturising. It really does not get better than this for quick and fuss-free beauty.
I actually don't like the burts bees peppermint lipbalms because they feel drying on my lips. But these tinted lip balms are awesome. They are very hydrating and add a nice pop of colour. This little tube lasts me ages and is fantastic for winter when I don't want to wear my drying lipsticks.
Tips: The burts bees lip shimmer range is as good and has a much better colour selection. Highly reccomend!
I purchased this on a whim today - wanting (a little bit of) colour and a moisterizing lip product. Had a look at the Burt's Bees display and they all smelled really nice (their whole lip collection) and at first thought it came in a jumbo sized lip balm but turned out to be in minimalist packaging...
Did exactly what it said it would do - give just a tiny bit of colour and kept my lips moisterized for a good 2-3 hours without needing to reapply, but probably did reapply later on for a colour top up.
You really do feel the product on your lips - which is good and bad depending on your own personal preference. It's not TOO much of a "feel" but I guess you could say you definitely do feel it working !
Tips: I think no matter how much you put on, the colour won't increase that dramatically which is good for an everyday look =)
Im onto my second tube of this! I wear the 'petunia' colour which i find looks great on everyone! it makes your lips feel silky and smooth without the feeling of being overly thirsty which i find a lot of lipbalms do. its a bit more expensive but totally worth it. and the tint isnt over the top so it looks nice and natural if u match it to your lip colour
Tips: dont apply too much of it looks clumpy, apply a few swishes then dap lips LIGHTLY with a tissue
This is an excellent lip balm. I have used it twice and it does an amazing job at keeping my lips really soft and smooth. It's a bit expensive compared to other lip balms but it does the job perfectly. And it has a little bit of colour.
I love the Burt's Bees range of Lip Products. They are what they say they are, moisturising and nourishing. They have a lovely light scent to them and with a light hint of colour can really brighten your lips quick and easy. I love the shimmer stick ones too which are thinner but lovely. The only thing I struggle with now is the price as a mum of soon to be 3 under 5, especially when my daughters quite like them too!
I have the black dahlia one, I got it a few weeks ago. I love that it's all natural and I don't have to worry about any nasty chemicals. The colour looks totally natural and feels really nice.
I had never heard of Burts Bees until i got one for christmas as a stocking filler and from then on i fell in love. I love the fact that they are all natural and the colours are so cute and really good as an alternative to lipstick if you having a bad lip day.
Silky smooth is how my lips feel after using this product for a week. I've NEVER purchased lip balms before but this product has me sold. It smelt like bubblegum and felt lovely on my lips. When I licked them it didn't feel bad or waxy at all ... suprisingly. I had the Rose colour and it was a lovely natural shade that I could wear everyday. I'd highly recommend this product.
Tips: Ensure it's handy in your bag ... you will become addicted to it.
