I was really stoked to get to review this product as I have dry skin and also am an avid micellar user. I wasn't really digging my current micellar but I'm not one to waste so I was pushing through with it.
This is very different to the other brands I've used. Firstly it has a milky consistency, similar to a milky cleanser. If you like the "nothing" finish a usual micellar leaves you might not like this, but for someone with dry skin, I really like the residue it leaves, it's very subtle and just feels like an extra hydration layer left on your skin. It's effective at removing all eye makeup with just a cotton pad and just leaves skin feeling fresh for when you don't have time for a full cleanse.
The price and size of the bottle makes it a very affordable option, I'll definitely look towards repurchasing this product.
On first impressions this 400ml bottle looks simple, plainly packaged, no fuss, the bottle itself is oval shaped, so it won't take up too much real estate in the shower caddy. The lid has a tab on it, which I love, as it is not a struggle to open this with wet hands (more manufactures should take note on the lid design). I expected this to have a sweet smell, according to the bottle it is fragrance free, there is a slight chemical smell, but it isn't off-putting. I don't have cotton pads so I improvised, putting this on a folded face cloth, then using gently to remove my makeup, it felt quite nourishing on my skin, and even though you don't have to rinse this off, I did. My skin instantly felt smoother and clean, the test was when I looked in the mirror, no panda eyes from mascara and eyeliner, I was quite impressed! The need for me to moisturise immediately after cleansing was not there, I truly felt that all of my makeup was removed and my skin cared for. I can fully recommend this if you have combo skin, as my dry skin wasn't irritated and my T zone was left de-slicked, so its a big tick from me!
Tips: Use a face cloth if you don't have cotton pads, works just as well
