I had previously tried the Micellar Cleansing Water and liked it so was uber excited about the wipes that I had heard so much hype about. I needed to have these babies for days when out and about to keep my makeup in check.
The little pack is super cute and can fit anywhere without too much fuss. I kept mine in my glovebox out of the sun so not to get dried out in the heat. I loved the freshness seal it comes with. Some wipe packs have ridiculous resealable tabs that stop sticking after only a few uses.
I think the size of them is pretty decent which is good. I can't stand tiny wipes that require at least two to do any real impact on your makeup. The thickness is adequate so that my fingers don't wear through the wipe from the harsh rubbing.
I too agree with the two below. The wipes are very dry. They are damp at very best. It requires me to rub harder which leaves my skin red and irritated. What is the point of a makeup wipe that doesn't work when used gently!? It is a waste of my time.
I would have been satisfied even if they were refreshing to use on the face. They don't even work in that way. I found that I had to use a cleanser to remove any makeup after using them. It defeats the purpose of wipes at all if I have to use a cleanser afterwards.
They are more suited for my son. He enjoys 'tattooing' mum so uses them to wipe away excess ink. They were no use to me so I just gave them to him to enjoy, which he does.
I received these in a Black Box of all things, and was intrigued to try them. I don't normally use Micellar water, so was interested to see how these performed.
These work really well, these removed my makeup easily and didn't irritate my skin. I did feel like there was a bit of residue on my skin after using them, but a quick splash of water made it feel fully clean.
I've since put a pack in my travel bag - I do a lot of travelling for work, and I like to travel light so this is the perfect solution for me. The only issue I have with the product is the packet seal - it would be great to have a slightly stronger seal (think the baby wipes packs) to ensure they don't dry out.
Tips: Keep a pack in the car or your travel bag
