Let down

I had heard many good things about this product aiming towards acne prone skin . It retailed for 20.99 when I purchased it from the supermarket , which I was a little hesitant to spend that much. I used it for at least 3 months but found it dry out my skin , and left it feeling irritated. It did not do any thing for me other than remove makeup easily. I wouldn't purchase it again personally , I have found success in much cheaper products.

Cetaphil. My Holy Grail

I've been using this for about 6 or 7 years now and have never looked back. I have super sensitive skin which reacts to scented cleansers and those wet wipe things, so after trying Cetaphil to remove my makeup without any reaction I've stuck by it. Its a white gel like formula with no scent and is fairly runny. I buy a big bottle which lasts me over a year using a pump or two a day for my face. Its gentle enough to use it straight on a cotton pad and also removes eye makeup. If you suffer from eczema this is also a great body wash (thankfully my body doesn't protest to perfumed soaps) as its unscented its perfect for even the most sensitive skin. Great value for money, lasts ages and multipurpose- win!

Tips: I always use a toner to remove any traces of makeup and cetaphil on my face after using this, this helps to leave your free of all makeup!

High Hopes...

I bought this product with high expctations. I have heard wonderful things about it. I bought it from a pharmacy for about $19.99. I used it for about 4-5 months and didn't notice a change in my skin what so ever. I had to use a foaming cleanser before I used the cetaphil cleanser to get the dirt and leftover makeup off as cetaphil didn't cleanse my skin as well as it should...

This product is defiantly in my products I regret buying basket. I believe there are a lot of better products out there that are half the price.

BEST CLENSER

I swear by this cleanser I have used it for years now and my Mum swears by this cleanser since she was 16. I Always end up going back to this cleanser after trying different ones out. I it super gentle and never dries my skin out. This cleanser is in no way harsh at all I find some cleansers tend to strip my skin but this one does not. Cetaphil is very natural and has no scent to it. This removes makeup and is gentle enough on the eyes. After toning I think all my makeup has been taken off.

Tips: If you have oil skin they have a cleanser for the oily skiin. There are many types of cleansers but the Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser is my holy grail.

Soap free

I have this in the smallest bottle and the downside to this bottle is there's no pump, to get product you have to open and dispense it. Not very functional or user friendly.(Not a biggie )

My skin is oily, so this is great and doesn't add to my oilynes or strip it dry. I do have use my toner and moisteriser after washing with this.

It's got a scent of which I can't describe, I do know it's authentic to this product. So let's just say it smells like Cetaphil. Lol

It's quite runny and is semi gold like translucent.

Gentle to put on face. Doesn't sting the eyes. Not drying to the skin. Non irritable.

Doesn't really foam much but it has clear bubbles upon using a shower puff. When using it on the body.

Post shower it has not dried out the skin and does have it feeling clean. Has no oily after feeling aswell. You do need to moisteriser after use.

Great cleanser.

This cleanser is slightly runny, so it is easy to use a decent amount, however the bottles are sizeable so it does last a while. It is not as gentle as a cream cleanser, as it can leave my skin feeling ever so slightly tight. It's not dry, it just feels like I definitely need to apply a moisturiser afterwards. It is a great cleanser and hasn't caused me any troubles, and definitely does its job well.

Gentle Cleanse

Well this is a gentle cleanser, comes in a basic white plastic bottle with a pump. This gel water coloured cleanser has no fragrance. Sometimes my skin crawls and this was recommended by a dermatologist. So I wet my hands and squeeze a wee bit off this on my hands and rub them together and hmmmm very low foaming I must admit I did look at it like ok this is going to clean my skin. And proceeded to wash my face with it, and it cleaned my skin didn't strip the moisture from it but it left my face clean and soft. I was not left feeling tight or any irritation my skin felt really good but it was ready for some moisture. Didn't sting when I got some in my eyes and I did have to use it twice and I used about two squirts. So a good rinse and then continued on with my skin routine. This cleaned my skin when it was feeling sensitive and didn't aggravate it, so for when my skin goes crazy this is really worth me using. Yes I will repurchase this as it is gentle.

Great gentle cleanser

This is a great product for my sensitive skin. I love that you can purchase a big bottle for home or a smaller bottle for travel. I can usually pick up a big bottle of this for $19.99 which is great, as the big bottle lasts me ages. It was gentle as it says. I did have to cleanse twice if I was wearing make up (usually I cleanse twice when I have make up on no matter what cleanser I use). It felt really nice on my skin and didn't dry it out. The packaging is simple which is good - with such a big bottle I'm glad it isn't bright. I recommended this to my sister who was struggling with acne and it worked wonders for her. Turns out using this didn't dry her skin out so much and gave her skin a chance to heal and she manages it much better now. Would definitley recommend this to anyone who has sensitive skin or is acne prone. Or even someone who has great skin and is looking for something that is not too harsh!

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser

I love this cleanser I use it every single day and have so for a few years now. Was recommended by a friend. Very gentle on the skin and doesn't dry it out. I have normal to oily skin. You can use alone or with water. I've used it with an electric face brush and works well. You can also use it on your body, and can remove light makeup. It doesn't have a fragrance which I think is nice.

Tips: Best tip I can give is to add a small amount of baking soda once the cetaphil is in your hand, this acts as a gentle exfoliant.

Love love love this stuff

I first tried Cetaphil as a poor student, years ago, and I remember texting everyone to rave about it, to the point where friends were asking if I was being paid to promote the stuff (which I wasn't). A few years down the track, and I'd tried many new things, discovering what worked best for my skin as I age.

Just recently, after investing in a sonic cleansing brush, I needed something basic, with no bells or whistles or beads or anything, to use with it. And something that was easy on the budget too, because that month was tight. I picked up a value pump bottle of cetaphil from Farmers, and rekindled my love affair with this product.

It's very mild and gentle, and leaves the skin smooth and free of residue. It removes sweat, oil and foundation, but not eye makeup (wasn't expecting it to though, use oil for that!) It's great value for money, and not overly scented; in fact it barely smells at all.

Tips: Great with a sonic cleansing brush.
