L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser x3 - Intensive Anti-Ageing Regime Review

I was honoured to trial the L’Oréal Intensive Anti-Ageing Regime. I was immediately impressed with the packaging which is very luxurious and high-end in appearance showcasing the products in silvery/purple metallic boxes, gold script and red. The actual product is equally luxe with the day and night cream being in heavy glass jars with silver/purple metallic lids. The serum is in a glass pump bottle and the eye cream in a tube. L'OREAL ANTI-AGING POWER SERUM The serum is silky in appearance and easy to apply requiring one or two drops depending on skin dryness. It promises to reduce wrinkles, tighten pores, even and firm skin. On first applying the serum I found the fragrance to be off putting, reminding me of aftershave. However, I like this product; my skin appears to have improved in evenness and looks firmer. L'OREAL INTENSIVE ANTI-AGING DAY MOISTURISER This moisturiser is very thick and heavy in appearance but light to touch. It promises to improve skin’s quality, fine lines, wrinkles and crow’s feet. It also promises to firm, increase denseness and give the face a redefined look. It states to massage for better absorption. When I first started using the day moisturiser I was impressed with the overall improvement in my skin however, as the days became hotter, I struggled to use this moisturiser let alone massage it in. It slides around my face and ‘sits’ on my skin. It has reduced the improvement I first experienced when using the range. This moisturiser maybe better suited to a drier skin rather than the normal to oily combination of my skin. L'OREAL INTENSIVE ANTI-AGING MASK-CREAM NIGHT Like the day moisturiser, the night cream is very thick and heavy with a smooth consistency, hence the ‘mask-cream’. It promises by morning your skin will look new, smoothed and tightened. It will visibly reduce wrinkles and repair, re-texturise and transform skin. It massages well and immediately leaves the skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth. Until I started having problems with the day moisturiser, my skin did look great in the morning. L'OREAL ANTI-AGING EYE CREAM This is the star of the range! It is a lovely lightweight eye cream, easy to apply using the cooling metal doe foot applicator. It promises to smooth the skin around the eye area, reduce bags and refresh the look of eyes. It promises to reduce wrinkles, firm, tone and lift the eye contour area. My crow’s feet are definitely less defined and smoother looking and my eye area does seem firmer. I love this product and will be re-purchasing! Overall these products are a good skincare range for the mature skin. I have been using the range for four weeks and until compromised by the day moisturiser I experienced an improvement in my skin tone and smoothness. My skin felt plumper, firmer and looked brighter. The crow’s feet around my eyes are definitely less pronounced. Now if only it would fix the groves above my top lip!

I was thrilled to be selected to trial these products. My skin is just starting to 'age' so I'm keen to try anything to slow down the process!

My first thoughts were the scent was what I'd expect on a much more expensive product. Secondly, the texture of all the products is very fine and delicate, again what you'd expect from products that costs much more.

After each step, my skin did not feel greasy or heavy but well moisturized. There has been a definite improvement in the look of my skin with the lines around my eyes becoming plumped and not so deep. I had a dry patch on my cheek which is now gone.

I would definitely recommend this L'Oreal range. I love it and will keep using it.

I love the whole range of Revitalift and each component of the regime (Serum, Eye Cream, Day Cream and Night Cream) felt an equally important part of the process. Same red, contemporary packaging throughout the entire range makes for good brand continuity and helps distinguish which complimentary products go with what, which age group it is best suited to, etc. The entire range has a nice smell to it, the creams aren't too thick, but instead were light and fresh feeling upon application, and they genuinely seem to do the job they said they were going to. In conjunction with using the entire Revitalift range, after the first few days, my skin felt softer, and I am convinced my 45 year old, sensitive and moderately wrinkled skin, has less obvious lines and looks fresher - ie, I look younger!! My skin felt great after day one and still does, 3 weeks later after using all products within this range daily. Competitively priced and I will definitely recommend.

I was so excited to be selected for this trial. My skin is dry and I have fine lines around my eyes and some deeper lines on my forehead. I really wanted to give this a good test so I have  been using it day and night for 4 weeks and never missed a day. The packaging is beautiful. Very sturdy glass jars in a rich dark red with metallic lids. I love how the set is all the same colour, they are all really appealing to me.

At first when I applied all the products my skin burnt and stung so much. I was feeling quite disappointed as I thought I would not be able to trial them, I decided to try again the next night and phew I did not have the same reaction and it has been fine since! Not sure what that was about. Perhaps a new ingredient my skin needed to adjust too.

For my routine I only used the eye cream and moisturiser during the day and the full range at night obviously swapping the day cream for the night cream.

EYE CREAM: This comes in a cute wee squeezy tube with a metal applicator. I simply place the end under my eye area and gently squeeze the tube then lightly pat it in. It feels very cooling and luxurious. It does not sting my eyes at all which is great as lots of other products have in the past. It has made a huge difference to my fine lines which I find incredible in such a short amount of time and I wish I took before photos.

SERUM: I love this! It is very light and smells gorgeous like the rest of the range. I use 2 pumps and it covers my entire face and neck. I like to dot it on my forehead, cheeks and chin then lightly pat in. It sinks in so well and does not leave my skin feeling greasy or sticky. I have just over half left which is awesome. So I should get just over 2 months use out of this.

DAY CREAM: My least favourite of the range. This cream is so thick and heavy for a day cream and I had trouble wearing it in the summer heat. It made my face feel sticky and with the super hot days we have been having it made my bb cream slide around and just generally felt far too heavy on my face. I think this would be best used in the winter or at night time. I wish they had a lighter option in this range.

NIGHT CREAM: Love this night cream. It has a gel kind of texture which I adore. Smells fantastic. You really only need a little amount as it spreads well. I dot it on my forehead and cheeks then gently rub it in. It does leave my skin a bit shiny but as I use this before bed I am not fussed. My skin feels super soft and smooth and when I wake up in the morning it is never dry.

Overall this range has done wonders for my skin! I have not had any breakouts since using it, my skin is definitely more plump and looks so fresh. My lines have reduced and the overall appearance is way more smoother. Not to mention how soft my skin is! I love this range and think it is a great price for fantastic products. If they could sort the day cream out it would be a 10/10.

I have used the Revitalift Laser X3 serum, day cream, eye cream and night cream for 3wks now and am loving the appearance of my face after this time.

The day, night and serum come in classy red glass containers which I found attractive but rather heavy so this would be a negative if travelling etc. A small plastic applicator which some other Brands store in the lid would definitely be helpful for removal of the day and night creams instead of dabbing your finger in the pots.

All the products had a beautiful floral smell which wasn’t overpowering and seemed to linger for a while which I liked. The textures are very silky and they all apply very easily to the skin. The moisturisers felt lovely on after using the serum too as usually my skin can feel too slippery or greasy. My face was left with a lovely shine to it which reflected light and made my face look quite radiant (for a change!).

My skin still felt very hydrated at the end of the day and when I wake up in the morning. I have noticed that the fine lines have filled out especially in the forehead and mouth areas and together with the reflective nature of the cream I am really happy how my skin looks. My skin did not feel tight as though it needed more either.

I really enjoyed using all the products each day and have noticed my skin is definitely smoother in appearance.

I would highly recommend this to people as it is great value for money as a little goes a long long way.

L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser x3

I am close to turn 50 and have been selected to review the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser x3. I have sensitive dry skin and some redness. I have been using the products for about 1 month at the time of this review (Jan 2018). I am very excited about the results. In my opinion the serum has definitely diminished the redness on my cheeks.

In the summer time, I work in an environment where I go from the cold of my office to the warmth of a warehouse many times during the day. I walk and hike regularly. I need to wear products that will hydrate and nourish my skin, but also keep it young looking without running down when I am sweating.

1) Serum: I applied the serum every morning and evening on a clean face. I pumped twice and had enough serum to massage my face and neck. The serum was quickly absorbed by my skin. The scent is nonexistent. I have seen the redness on my cheeks diminishing every day and my skin tone is more even. Over a month I have used the 30ml of serum.

2) Eye Cream: As directed I applied the anti-ageing power eye cream every morning and evening around my eyes. Personally I prefer applying the cream with my finger instead of the metal applicator. When using the metal applicator, I am not sure how much cream is dispensed. I have seen some reduction of my eye bags which is quite positive. The eye cream is light and penetrates quickly. I haven’t used the 15ml over a month, however I can’t tell how much is left in the tube as it is not see-through.

3) Day Cream: I applied a big pea size amount of day cream every morning on top of the serum and eye cream. The cream is thick and creamy. I enjoy using the cream, even though the texture is thick, it penetrated my skin nicely and I could exercise without having it running down my face. There is barely a rose scent that dissipates very quickly. After a month, with a daily application, I still have a quarter left in the container. My skin has improved and is firmer. The pot is easy to open and close, although heavy.

4) Night Cream: As with the day cream, I applied a big pea size amount of night cream every night on top of the serum and eye cream. The night cream is thick and creamy as well. I enjoy waking up with a very fresh and smooth complexion. After a month, with a daily application, I still have a quarter left in the container. My skin has improved and is very smooth upon waking up in the morning. The pot is easy to open and close, although heavy.

The packaging of the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser x3 products stands out with its bright red and grey. I found it attractive. The packaging has a PAP recycling logo. The pots are made of glass, the lids are made of plastic I believe. I am not sure the serum and eye cream containers can be recycled.

I would recommend the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser x3 products to my friends. Over a month of use, it has made my skin firmer, reduced my redness, and made my skin tone more even.

I have really loved having the opportunity to give these products a try and have enjoyed the improvements to my skin. The packaging is really classy - it looks nice and is perfectly functional making you fell like you are really treating your skin and yourself.

I really like that these have science behind them and have been well tested by skincare experts and made using the latest technology and advancements.

My skin looks and feels so much better and I don't think I can go back to my old supermarket basics. Despite being a pricier option, I think these are well worth it and will be repurchasing and recommending to people.

Thanks beauty review for the chance to review this amazing product range. I am super stoked with the way the range makes my skin feel and pretty happy with the appearance too apart from not noticeably any change to my fine lines between my eyes or forehead. I will however definitely be continuing with this skin care regimen because it’s definitely helped my skins firmness. The whole rage smells absolutely lovely and the packaging is amazing. I think it’s great value for money. My favourite of the lot is the eye cream. Basically I apply the serum first then either the day or night cream and lastly the eye cream. Instantly fresher and firmer skin and perfect under makeup.

Loreal X3 set includes the: *Eye cream - genius applicator - recommended to all. **Serum - my favourite product in this set, fits so well with the eye cream & day cream - highly recommended to all. ***Day Cream - devine, such a lush product to use, no SPF is the only negative for me - recommended to all. ****Night Cream - is thinner than the day cream, seems like the day should be the night cream and the night be the day. Felt that the night cream stands out as the odd one out, its texture is different than the other three, colour is white and unfortunately the cream rubs off - not recommended to anyone.

I have used all 4 products for the past 4 weeks with a remarkable result. I have noticed reduced intensitiy of fine lines, noticable reduction with the intensity of my frown lines inbetween eye brows, much smoother & even complexion, long lasting moisture and reduction of red cheeks. I don't have Rosacea or anything nasty, just red cheeks, very annoying to me and I am so stoked they have reduced dramatically. This was a unexpected result.

With the exception of the night cream I would certainly recommend the system. Eye cream and Serum being used morning & evening would be a minimum. Don't forget SPF when using the day cream.

All products have a subtle fragrance & are easily absorbed. I have seen myself take a little more time and care using the products, they require a delicate touch and with the busy life we all lead rushing face care can be easy.

If you can't invest in all 4x products in range at one time my advice is Serum 1st, Day Cream 2nd then eye cream 3rd giving the night cream a miss.

I am rating 4.5/5. I don't think not using the night cream would make too much of a difference. The magic must have is the serum, that stuff is devine and in my opinion its done most of the work.
