Trilogy Instant Bronzing Gel

Since a young teen I have been searching for a fake tan product that worked with my fair completion and sensitive skin. This is the stuff!

It goes on so smooth, absorbs very fast and no streaks! Also doesn't leave me looking like a Simpsons character.

I wasn't a huge fan of the shimmer at first but with the beautiful, subtle and long lasting tan it provides I'm willing to work with the sparkle.

This is by far the absolute best buildable fake tan I've ever tried. Because it's subtle and the colour is buildable there's no danger of it being too dark and I found that within three days I had the perfect shade of tan that I wanted and then all I needed to do was reapply it every few days to maintain the shade. It's made of all natural ingredients (no synthetic chemicals) and contains aloe vera and vitamin E to moisturise your skin. There's absolutely no danger of turning tandoori orange as with so many fake tans. The colour looks completely natural and from the moment you first put it on your skin glows because this product contains the light-reflecting mineral Mica, which shimmers. This product feels lovely (a smooth, moisturising gel consistency) and it dries super-fast so you can get dressed as soon as you've finished applying it without worrying about it staining any of your clothing. If you're wanting a fast and/or dark tan, use a different product, but if you're happy to build it up over a few days (and have more of a natural look) then this is the ultimate! It's a bit expensive but when I can afford it I think it's worth it.

I like this is as a gradual tanner coming up to an event but I don't know if i would use it day-to-day, it is quite shimmery. It is nice on sensitive skin though and shows up quite well, although it's definitely a gradual tan, as a few times I put it on in the morning and it hadn't started to show up until the afternoon

I am really on the fence with this product. I loved the smell - it was really nice to have a product that didn't stink after applying and I also loved the shimmer in it! It was super easy to apply being a crème (I used my tanning mitt) You did need a fair amount of product to do your entire body and I don't think the bottle would last more than 3 or 4 applications. It is also designed to be built up over a few days - because I tan 2 or so times a week I found this to be a bit time consuming. The colour had a bit too much orange for me as well. Due to the light colour with each application and the ease of applying I would totally recommend it for first time tanners :D

So before trialing this, I had never used a tinted gel before. It was a bonus being able to see where to put it! It smelt divine but the second day it smelt more like tan. The immediate effect was gorgeous tbough...not too overwhelming on the colour but also had a nice golden shimmer through it so you didnt have to wait for results as the shimmer effect was instant. At the same time, I did feel though the next day the shimmer made the skin appear slightly patchy. All in all,I did like it and I got heaps of compliments on my tan but I am on the fence about whether or not I would re-purchase.

This self tanner is different from others I've tried as it leaves a very subtle sparkly shimmer on the skin. It has a thin consistency and a tint which makes it easy to apply as you can see where you've applied it. I found it produced a good colour that looked natural and it dried quickly on application. The smell was also minimal which I prefer to other self tanners which often has a strong odour. My only reservation is the price- slightly more than I would tend to pay. Despite this I loved the product and would recommend it to friends.

I got this in my samplebar pack last year and I have to say, at first I wasn't impressed but after using it a couple of times I loved the colour I would get overnight! I was using this in conjunction with my le tan gradual moisturising tanner and I had a perfect flawless tan. UPDATED.. The trick to getting this right is all about a good exfoliation.. You need a good product that doesn't leave any residue on your skin or you will struggle with this streaking etc.. Best to apply this in the evening when you can be around home wearing loose clothing and let it develop overnight. I pop the seat down on my toilet so I can sit there and turn the bathroom fan on and apply in there, I find it helps with drying and definitely achieves a better end result when done this way (I mean lets face it, if you get a spray tan they dry you down)

This is really easy to use for a nice and natural tan. It is quite shimmery and has quite an intense coffee, coconut cocktail sort of smell. It is not very long lasting, but I don't mind since it is a natural product

I am very scared of fake tans!! I have had many bad experiences with them, so I'm so glad I found this one! It's easy to apply evenly without smears and lines etc, which is what usually worries me the most! Also, another plus is the smell isn't as bad as other fake tans! It is strong, but it doesn't smell like a usual fake tan, it's actually quite pleasant.

I have quite pale skin so often have problems with tannign products streaking due to the extreme colour difference. With this I have never had problems with streaking, and the colour is easily built from a light yellow tone to a more evident tan. This is definately a tan to apply the day before you want an effect though, as initially it is just very shimmery and has quite a strong, overly sweet smell. After a good 6 hours to soak in and a shower though it is the best tan I've tried so far :) It is quite expensive for a tanning product though, so still trying out other brands!
