I was really excited to try this but unfortunately there were a few things I didn't like. The pottle for 'easy' use is annoying, I found it hard to get out the right amount, you need to use a lot. The salt disolves really fast, I can't get a good scrub going. I also really don't like the smell! I'm not even sure how to describe it... Salty? Minerals? It isn't a refreshing scent like I anticipated.
It also leaves your skin feeling slippery.. Almost greasy.
I usually love lush products but this just isn't for me.
I got a small pot of this last Christmas. Yes, I'm a product hoarder lol. I've gotten about four full body uses from this tub with maybe one more left. I've probably overused it a bit though so I could use it up quicker!
This comes in a traditional black lush pot. It has a very clear use by date and also when it was made and even who by. I love how lush do that. Also with these pots, once you have 5 empty ones. You can take them into lush for a free face mask.
This looks really cool when you open the tub. It's a bright blue, shiny sort of mixture. It has a different sort of scent to me. I can smell freshness and a slight floral but when I use it, I can kind of smell rubber Too? I don't find it hugely pleasant.
This is easy to use, I just take a small scoopl out and rub over my body. It's not hugely 'scrubby', I prefer something a bit stronger for my body but if you like something light that also lathers the you might like this.
DO NOT use this after shaving. I learnt the hard way last week and it stung so badly. Definitely use it before.
I'm glad that I've finally tried this out but I would never use it again. I much prefer coffee scrubs, I wish lush did some of those instead.
