I had heard about these but wasn't overly fussed about them, it was just a sponge and to me, sponges are used on your body not on your face. All of that changed when my skin expert and close friend told me that I *needed* to try it, and then another close friend agreed. Two against one, I caved, and it arrived a while later.
At first I was underwhelmed, as I thought it would be squishy and soft, but it was hard as a rock. Although, rubbing it on my face while it was like that was pretty nice so I was excited to use it. I took it into the shower with me and oh my lawd I saw the light!
The sponge turned into a lovely bunch of squish. I put my face wash on it and rubbed it around, and once rinsed off my face felt amazing. It was the best gentle exfoliation I've ever felt. My sponge however broke quite quickly, and I thought I was looking after it quite well, and I still haven't gotten around to repurchasing, but I really should. It was an amazing little thing and I'd gladly buy more.
Last year I was shopping on luxola(Sephora), and needed to fill the cart and brought it on a wim, I was thinking about whether I should buy a clarisonic for my skin but after watching some reviews and hearing comments on how it causes some people to break out. Decided to buy it. When you first use it soak in water for about 5 to 10 minutes to expand and soften. I love that you can use it with or without a cleanser.
