NIVEA Stress Protect Deodorant Aerosol Review

thet the aroma of the Nivea stress protect is too sweet and sickly for my taste- it overpowered any perfume I would normally wear. As a person in my 40s I felt the smell was more suited to a teenager. Because of this I would not use or recommend. However functionality was good- it sprayed in dry ( I used 2 sprays at a time) and did some moderate exercise. I did not sweat afterwards and asked my husband to do a 'sniff test' and he said he could not smell any sweat. It didn't seem to stain clothes but for me the lingering sickly sweet synthetic smell is just too much to tolerate for regular use. I have very sensitive skin and it didn't sting but it felt very cold going on. The first 3 ingredients are propellants.

It did smell nice going on but tingled a bit when I put it on after shaving. About 1/2 way through my day at work, realised it wasn't stopping the sweat and by the end of the day it wasn't stopping the smell either.

I've never been a big fan of spray on deodorants/ antiperspirants, because frankly I don't think they give enough protection against perspiration. And I'm a heavy sweater, just at any point in the day, not even really when I'm stressed or particularly active. However, I was willing to give this a try as a new product on the market. I didn't have a lot of high hopes for it though.

I have been using this product for about a week now and for the first few days I was pleasantly surprised. It did provide good antiperspirant protection and I didn't find myself with sweaty pits at the end of the day. I don't really remember if I was in any stressful situations, in which this product is meant to excel in particular, but for at least the 3 days, this product provided good protection. However, at about day 4, it was a different story. Even just two hours after putting it on, I felt quite sweaty, and I hadn't done anything different from the past 3 days. Now at the end of the trial, the product just does nothing for me. I will definitely not be purchasing this product and will go back to my trusty roll on.

I would say for friends to at least give it a try, it's definitely worth seeing if it works for you. I mean if it lasted 3 days on me, then it'll probably last longer on less sweaty people. Those first 3 days were pretty great but sadly, it couldn't stand the test of time.

I used this for a good number of days and honestly didn't really think it was anything special.

I had a number of stressful days at work and thought it would be perfect at keeping me fresh but I actually found my other deodorant to be more effect.

Fine for day to day use, fresh smelling but really no different from a lot of products out there.

Not a great fan of aerosol deodorant and this didn't convince me to change over. Scent is too strong but it did keep me dry for one day not sure about 48 hrs as won't wait that long before a shower!

I am one of the lucky ones that don't sweat from my underarms and with that no body odour therefore I don't use anti-perspirant. I did give this a good go and I really didn't like the feeling it left. It gave me sticky underarms and it felt like it wouldn't wash off after scrubbing. I did like how it didn't transfer onto any of my clothing though and it has a very nice scent. Apart from that, I wouldn't use this again (or any other anti-perspirant).

I was a little disappointed with this product. Unfortunately, by the time it arrived in my letterbox, I did only have two days to test it out. When I first sprayed it on after my shower, I found the scent to be pleasant but the spray was a bit overwhelming in a small enclosed space and had to open both the door and window to be able to breathe again. I did not spray a huge quantity, just an average little squirt under each arm. Second day of using, I stepped into another room to spray and vacated quickly. Nivea Stress Protect claims to protect against emotional sweating. I'm not normally a big sweater and don't really have much of an issue with smelly pits. In saying that, the timing could not have been more perfect to put this product through the test, as I have had an extremely emotional and stressful few days. On day one of testing the product, I had to put my long time, much loved, fur baby to sleep. I was a mess to say the least! After only three hours I found that the product was not doing its job, so I re-sprayed. By days end, I didn't have very nice smells emanating from under my arms. I had no physical activity at all on this day. I work in a busy cafe environment and are always on the go so day two was really putting the product through its paces. After only a few hours, I was re-applying the product. I used the product three times during my shift to keep from scaring away my customers. As I mentioned above, I don't have issues normally with body odour so I was a little surprised by the way the product performed.

Mild pleasant smell initially - the spray was rather ferocious as it exited the can and i was reminded me all the chemicals I'm spraying in to my body and inhaling via my old factory system.

Went for several walks in the hot baking sun and was not dripping with sweat so I guess if that's what your after it will do the trick. I was on the understanding that sweating is a natural process for the body.

Packaging was alright, thought was there on the advertising and name.

BUT......I would say that In conclusion ladies, I would personally not rate this better or worse than any other of the same vein.

It's just not for me. I prefer something a little more natural and a little less like I am putting out a fire.

I am an emotional sweater. When I'm stressed or angry I sweat, as well as when I am hot. This deodorant didn't do much for me. I sprayed once in the morning like I do with any other deodorant. I found I had to re-spray a couple of times during hot days, or if I was in a bad mood. The smell isn't too appealing either. I wouldn't buy this product and I wouldn't recommend it.
