Dove Go Fresh Cucumber & Green Tea Roll On Deodorant Review

I am currently using this product and have been for three weeks now. I like to change my roll on as I enjoy using new products and trying new scents. I picked this up from Pack N Save for a bargain of $1.50.

Firstly I have always been a fan of Dove, they have amazing products that always leave my skin feeling moisturised and soft, this deodorant is no different. It has 1/4 moisturising cream in it which I find to leave my underarm area soft and smooth.

It comes in an upside down container which has a flat lid allowing it to stand upside down, meaning that you are able to easily get the last bits of product inside. The lid is a nice feature as it 'clicks' closed so you know that it is secure and won't come open in your handbag etc

The scent is lovely with cucumber being the stand out for me personally. I apply this in the morning and that is all I need to stay fresh all day, even after a hard/busy day, I can still smell the cucumber and green tea. I have not noticed any staining from this product on my clothes either which is fantastic!

I would highly recommend this product and will defiantly be repurchasing this again.

I initially found the smell quite pleasant, but after a few days, I couldn't stand it! The scent's quite strong, so it was hard to ignore. Ended up chucking it out. Aside from that, it worked pretty well I suppose. It did take a while to dry though.

most deodorants spells so strong and over powering but this ones smells so nice and fresh which is a nice change and doesnt clash with the perfume youre wearing

I have used this product on many previous occasions in fact I even have the body lotion in the same fragrance. The roll on leaves a pleasant fragrance and keeps you feeling fresh all day. I do find that the fragrance is very strong and if you don't like it you will not like the deodorant. I have been complemented on my perfume before when I have not been wearing anything other than the roll on. It gives you protection, it works and keeps you feeling fresh. It is affordable, gentle on your skin and I found I could apply it straight after shaving with out it burning. I would definitely use it again. I use this for everyday regular activities I have not used it when going to the gym or working out so I would not know if it could offer protection for that, however it works for a normal day with normal activities. Dove is a lovely product range to use and this would be one of my favourites in the Dove Roll on range, as I said I liked it so much I bought the body lotion!

I perspire quite a lot and as a result tend to gravitate towards aerosol anti-perspirants as I find they work better for me. I purchased this as a handbag-friendly anti-perspirant option I could take as carry on. I love Dove products and I already had the Go Fresh Cucumber & Green Tea body wash so I knew I would really like the fragrance. As expected it was a nice 'fresh', springtime scent which did smell quite refreshing for the short time that the fragrance lingered.

This is good for after shaving as with the moisturising cream it contains I found my skin was left soft. I did find this roll on anti-perspirant was also effective in keeping body odour at bay for several hours, however it did nothing for dampness especially on hot days or for when exercising this really didn't work as effectively as I hoped.

If you're not after an antiperspirant that is particularly strong this may work well for you, but it didn't meet my needs and I won't be repurchasing.

I use this every day. I used to buy the original one as it doesn't really have much of a scent to it and i'm not really a fan of typical women's deodorant scents, but one day when I went to repurchase it my supermarket had sold out of it, and this one looked to be the next best thing. It turned out to be even better - the scent is so clean and refreshing, and keeps me fresh all day long.

Me : Dry, Easily irritated, always itchy and rashy. Sweat? Basically turns my under arms into something out of a horror movie. Keeping them dry is very important! Unfortunately most antiperspirants have the same effect on my skin as sweat does. It took me years (after puberty first hit :P) to find something hypoallergenic but that also stopped the evil sweat from destroying my delicate under arm skin.

First impressions : This was that product! I can happily apply day or night as well as after shaving with very minimal to no irritation. I love that it's a roll on, I find application so much easier and controllable than sprays. The roller ball doesn't dry up easily and stays working until the bottle is empty.

Smell : As the name suggests it is a fresh, clean scent that is not overpowering at all. The smell doesn't linger and it just gets on with the job of protection and doesn't try and be anything else.

Effectiveness : This gives me around 12-16 hours of "every day" protection which is more than enough for my needs. For "high stress" situation (such as the gym or going for a run etc) I would probably want to reapply.

Skin : As above this is extremely gentle on skin and isn't too drying like a lot of deodorants can be.

Final Thoughts : This is my every day must have antiperspirant. I have used it for YEARS and the formula has stayed consistently good. 10/10

I like the scent but prefer my avon cucumber scent for roll on more. I still sweat a little too. What I find when I put Dove deo roll on on my body is that it feels so silky going on that It feels like I am not putting anything on at all so I tend to put more on therefore going through a bottle of the product faster.

Love this - i keep one of these in my gym bag ... i like to have a spray and a roll on , i alternate between this one and the nivea roll on. love it nice on, no irritation, smells clean and fresh
