The Perfecting Eye Primer smooths skin and creates an even base for eye make-up application. The untinted formula blends seamlessly into the skin and dries on invisibly. It helps tighten the skin in the eye area and smooth the appearance of wrinkles while helping to extend eye make-up wear.

The primer is enriched with an Oat derived anti-aging ingredient known for its tightening and anti-wrinkle properties, as well as a natural powder derived from Carnauba Wax to help keep make-up in place for an extended wear.

Light and Gentle

I bought this primer from the Nude by Nature website during a sale and I wanted to try something a little more natural, especially for my eyes. I wanted something that will keep my eyeshadow vibrant and creaseless. It came in a cute 10ml tube.

I applied the eye primer on my eyelids, bottom eyebrow area and under eyelids after applying moisturiser. I used a very small amount for both my eye areas. It has a light white creamy texture and it applied smoothly and evenly. It felt nourishing and gentle. Then I applied eyeshadow to my eye lids and concealer under my eyelids. I liked how it felt on my eye lids, it wasn’t greasy or heaving, but I didn’t find my eye shadow to have an airbrushed look. My concealer and eyeshadow were creased after an hour or so and the eyeshadow eyes didn’t look too vibrant.

It’s ok for a primer though, I’ve used worse. It might not be helpful that I get greasy eyelids.

Tips: Dab instead of gliding to not damage skin around the eye area
