I love MAC makeup but I admit I was a little behind the times trying their eyeshadows as I have a couple of eye shadow palettes I use regularly, but MAC has their Small Eye Shadow singles as part of their back to MAC and I have managed to pick up a couple that way.
They come packaged in a tiny compact which I find really convenient, the sheer window at the top lets you see the shade, and they're secure enough to take away in a makeup bag without carting an entire palette.
The two shades I have are Woodwinked, an antique gold, and Star Violet, a brown-toned plum. Both shades are Veluxe Pearl so they have a metallic, pearly finish to them. The eyeshadows are highly pigmented, a quick swipe and you get high impact colour that is easy to apply and blend. I use a small eyeshadow brush if wanting to apply to the lid or when I'm wanting a pop of colour along my lashline I dampen a small liner brush with MAC's Fix + and use this to apply the shadow for more of an impact.
I'd be keen on collecting more of these shadows as they're handy to have and the product itself is very good, so I would recommend them to others.
I cannot compliment MAC green eyeshadow shades enough. They are so pigmented and pretty and I've never found a brand that comes close to comparing. I use them primarily for a green eyeliner on my lower waterline and it makes my eyes pop. I wet a liner brush and use it with the shadow so it becomes even more pigmented and then soften the brightness of the colour with a little black liner.
