Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner Review

When I initially tried this product I didn't read the packaging properly, and thought it was a body lotion! It actually worked amazingly well, and was a thick, luxurious and extremely softening lotion. After I actually had a read of the container, however, I realised you're meant to use this as a body conditioner in the shower - oops! I tried it out in the shower, and found that it works great. You smooth it into your skin then rinse off, and it leaves your skin very soft and delicately scented of roses.

The smell of this product is a lovely rose scent, the colour is a pale rose-pink, and the consistency is creamy without being too thick. I love the amazing ingredients which it contains, and I also love the wonderful values which LUSH stands for.

While I won't repurchase for myself, this would make a lovely gift for anyone who likes subtle yet pampering body care products.

I received this as a part of gift set for Christmas and absolutely love it. The smell is so nice but it is strong for those that are a bit more sensitive. I used this then went for Christmas lunch and had 2 people comment on how much they liked the perfume I was wearing which was just the scent of this body conditioner.

It definitely leaves the skin feeling soft and moisturized and did not irritate my skin at all. If using in the shower it is a bit easy to waste it due to the consistency. I've also just used it as a lotion and it works well both ways.

Overall, a very nice product. That being said, I wouldn't put it into my regular beauty routine due to the price but it's nice for a luxurious treat every once in a while.

I love the idea of body conditioners - being able to moisturise while you wash? Amazing!

I picked up a smaller (45g size) Ro's Argan pottle when I had a Lush voucher and got myself a present pack, which had this and a Sultana of Soap in it.

Even in the smaller size, Ro's Argan comes in the classic black Lush screw top tub, which is recyclable and emblazoned with graphic white font and the Lush logo.

The product is a thick creamy beige-pink. It is very similar to Rose Jam shower gel in terms of scent - but I prefer this over Rose Jam for the simple reason that it's not as smokey.

When you use the product I find it slips away a little easier than I'd like - I actually prefer the consistency of the Nivea one. I find I can waste a bit of it when it falls off where I put it....

So saying, skin is left soft and hydrated after using this product, with a pleasant scent, and i wouldn't be at all opposed to receiving it as a gift (or buying it in this smaller size as part of a pack) but for me, personally, when i can get one I like for less than $10 i'd rather spend my Lush funds on something else.

I loved how this product made my skin feel, felt so soft and smooth all day when using this product. besides doing an amazing job of moisturising my skin it also smells amazing and can be used in the shower ! so easy ! Although it is an argan based product this didnt give and oily/greasy feeling on the skin at all !

I have never been fortunate enough to visit a lush store or own any of their products that I have heard so much about. For my recent birthday I was given a gift pack from lush that had a scrumptious soap and a small pot of their Ro's Arab body conditioner. I was so amazed at how gorgeous this product was and absolutely loved the way it made my skin feel both during its use and after. You don't have to leave it on for long and it helps so much for a lazy moisteriser like me. If it takes a short amount of time, can be used in the shower, smells amazing and has fantastic results it's a winner in my books. I am looking forward to finding a Lush store ASAP to get some more body conditioner and maybe try their other products.

I love using this in the shower and also as a cream on dry skin! Used in the shower it makes your skin soooo smooth! It doesn't feel greasy and leaves your skin feeling really hydrated.

It smells divine! I'd describe it as a spicy warm scent, but natural and not over powering.

I don't use moisturisers nearly as much as I should, I don't tend to like the feel, this is an amazing alternative!

This stuff is amazing! I've been using it on my face as well as body. It smells divine, I purchased it for my lush obsessed ten year old and ended up stealing it off her. It makes my skin glow. A small amount goes a long way. If you use it in the shower you use it like a hair conditioner and rinse it off after. I just put it on and don't rinse off thou. I will def be purchasing more of this when it runs out

I cannot rave enough about the scent of this! I was lucky enough to win this in a prize and I am soooo stoked with it! I was in such a hurry to use this when I first opened it because of the smell that I didn't read the instructions and just rubbed it into my dry skin, but it still worked a treat! I have quite dry skin, especially on my legs and in between my breasts and this always works a treat! Using it in the shower also works amazing! This is definitely by far my fav product from Lush along with their "Rose Jam" shower gel which is always limited edition.

$39.90 for 225g? This stuff better be beyond expectations in every way possible for that much moolah! Smell check? BIG TICK! Eye catching check? It's simple but has the Lush clean green pot that is reusable complete with sticker of who made it (so personalized I love it) so I am hooked.....reel me in!!

I am obsessed with the smell of this pot of lushness. The consistency is so thick and creamy; luxurious even. I smooth it all over my skin from neck to toes after a shower and oh the divine smell that fills the shower room is beyond delicious. The smell is so long lasting I can smell it on myself after a full 9 hour sleep.

I expect dramatic results after paying $39.90 for my pot. I needn't wait long. It is the most moisturised my body has ever felt and this is alot coming from someone with dry skin from top to bottom. After a month of use I have found that the flaky skin I used to have is near non-existent and the redness around the driest parts has returned to the milky goodness it once was pre-puberty, I get compliments on my skin quite often by complete strangers, saying how I have great skin and it's only been since using Ro Argan Body Conditioner. I would subscribe to this if I could to assure a new one turned up every 4 weeks. Believer right here!

I am currently scraping the dregs out my fourth pot of this delicious moisturiser, which just goes to show how much I love it. Once I finish this review, I'll be off to put in an order for its replacement.

This is a very thick, creamy formulation with an intensely sweet rose scent that lingers throughout the day. I am personally a huge fan of the scent, but it may not be for everyone. You may want to be sure that you love it before you commit.

I have to admit that I don't use this in the conventional way that the packaging recommends. The premise is that you apply it in the shower and then rinse it off, leaving your skin moisturised for the day. I have very dry skin as a result of bad psoriasis and I find that I need a very thick and intensive moisturiser to keep the worst of the dryness at bay. I use this as a regular body moisturiser after showering and I find it does an excellent job of keeping me hydrated all day without irritating my problem skin further.

At $40 for 225g it is a little on the expensive side but when I have special skin needs, I'm happy to pay out for the products that work for me.
