L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser x3 - Intensive Anti-Ageing Regime Review

I was so excited to be selected for this trial. My skin is dry and I have fine lines around my eyes and some deeper lines on my forehead. I really wanted to give this a good test so I have  been using it day and night for 4 weeks and never missed a day. The packaging is beautiful. Very sturdy glass jars in a rich dark red with metallic lids. I love how the set is all the same colour, they are all really appealing to me.

At first when I applied all the products my skin burnt and stung so much. I was feeling quite disappointed as I thought I would not be able to trial them, I decided to try again the next night and phew I did not have the same reaction and it has been fine since! Not sure what that was about. Perhaps a new ingredient my skin needed to adjust too.

For my routine I only used the eye cream and moisturiser during the day and the full range at night obviously swapping the day cream for the night cream.

EYE CREAM: This comes in a cute wee squeezy tube with a metal applicator. I simply place the end under my eye area and gently squeeze the tube then lightly pat it in. It feels very cooling and luxurious. It does not sting my eyes at all which is great as lots of other products have in the past. It has made a huge difference to my fine lines which I find incredible in such a short amount of time and I wish I took before photos.

SERUM: I love this! It is very light and smells gorgeous like the rest of the range. I use 2 pumps and it covers my entire face and neck. I like to dot it on my forehead, cheeks and chin then lightly pat in. It sinks in so well and does not leave my skin feeling greasy or sticky. I have just over half left which is awesome. So I should get just over 2 months use out of this.

DAY CREAM: My least favourite of the range. This cream is so thick and heavy for a day cream and I had trouble wearing it in the summer heat. It made my face feel sticky and with the super hot days we have been having it made my bb cream slide around and just generally felt far too heavy on my face. I think this would be best used in the winter or at night time. I wish they had a lighter option in this range.

NIGHT CREAM: Love this night cream. It has a gel kind of texture which I adore. Smells fantastic. You really only need a little amount as it spreads well. I dot it on my forehead and cheeks then gently rub it in. It does leave my skin a bit shiny but as I use this before bed I am not fussed. My skin feels super soft and smooth and when I wake up in the morning it is never dry.

Overall this range has done wonders for my skin! I have not had any breakouts since using it, my skin is definitely more plump and looks so fresh. My lines have reduced and the overall appearance is way more smoother. Not to mention how soft my skin is! I love this range and think it is a great price for fantastic products. If they could sort the day cream out it would be a 10/10.

L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser x3

I am close to turn 50 and have been selected to review the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser x3. I have sensitive dry skin and some redness. I have been using the products for about 1 month at the time of this review (Jan 2018). I am very excited about the results. In my opinion the serum has definitely diminished the redness on my cheeks.

In the summer time, I work in an environment where I go from the cold of my office to the warmth of a warehouse many times during the day. I walk and hike regularly. I need to wear products that will hydrate and nourish my skin, but also keep it young looking without running down when I am sweating.

1) Serum: I applied the serum every morning and evening on a clean face. I pumped twice and had enough serum to massage my face and neck. The serum was quickly absorbed by my skin. The scent is nonexistent. I have seen the redness on my cheeks diminishing every day and my skin tone is more even. Over a month I have used the 30ml of serum.

2) Eye Cream: As directed I applied the anti-ageing power eye cream every morning and evening around my eyes. Personally I prefer applying the cream with my finger instead of the metal applicator. When using the metal applicator, I am not sure how much cream is dispensed. I have seen some reduction of my eye bags which is quite positive. The eye cream is light and penetrates quickly. I haven’t used the 15ml over a month, however I can’t tell how much is left in the tube as it is not see-through.

3) Day Cream: I applied a big pea size amount of day cream every morning on top of the serum and eye cream. The cream is thick and creamy. I enjoy using the cream, even though the texture is thick, it penetrated my skin nicely and I could exercise without having it running down my face. There is barely a rose scent that dissipates very quickly. After a month, with a daily application, I still have a quarter left in the container. My skin has improved and is firmer. The pot is easy to open and close, although heavy.

4) Night Cream: As with the day cream, I applied a big pea size amount of night cream every night on top of the serum and eye cream. The night cream is thick and creamy as well. I enjoy waking up with a very fresh and smooth complexion. After a month, with a daily application, I still have a quarter left in the container. My skin has improved and is very smooth upon waking up in the morning. The pot is easy to open and close, although heavy.

The packaging of the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser x3 products stands out with its bright red and grey. I found it attractive. The packaging has a PAP recycling logo. The pots are made of glass, the lids are made of plastic I believe. I am not sure the serum and eye cream containers can be recycled.

I would recommend the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser x3 products to my friends. Over a month of use, it has made my skin firmer, reduced my redness, and made my skin tone more even.

I've been using the L'Oreal Revitalist system for three weeks now. I've really enjoyed using it, and my skin is looking lovely and healthy.

I can't really measure if it has reduced wrinkles, or if it is equivalent to a laser, but I do think that it is an excellent option for a skin care regime for older skin, at a very reasonable price.

I really like the packaging, with the red square glass bottles and gunmetal lids. It looks good on my bathroom shelf and seems more high-end than a range that can be purchased at the supermarket.

I think that you don't need to spend a fortune on skincare, Cleanse well, use SPF and moisturise. My skin seems to respond well to consistency, instead of switching products all the time, so I do intend to continue using this system as I'm so pleased with the results.

I was overjoyed to receive a spot on this trial team - who wouldn't love $180 of product to play with?!

I'm a bit old fashioned, so when I read that, $180 for four skin care products, gosh it seems a lot. But then considering I get Facebook ads popping up with skincare products retailing for $100 a product, I guess in the anti ageing market the price is actually really competitive. Factor in the fact it's available at the supermarket and you'd be able to pick it up on special and I decided the price points weren't a reason to get all pre-judgey.

The range looks very classy, striking red pottles and tubes, nice work L'Oreal. The products have a light, fresh smell, quite clinical, but not unpleasant.

The four products are lovely to use, easy to apply and all easily absorbed. My favourites are the serum, which feels so luxurious and the night cream, which is so rich, it feels like an intensive treatment!

I really wish the day cream contained SPF, its my only real criticism about the range. It wouldn't stop me repurchasing, but SPF is something I expect from a product explicitly labelled 'day cream'.

But the big question - do they work as a regime?

Well, yes. The products layer beautifully, without feeling heavy. The results after are improved skin texture, plumper skin and a definite reduction in fine lines. I think the longer you use them the more pronounced the results will be, I'll definitely repurchase when these run out.

Prior to this review I had used the serum before, but none of the others.... I changed completely from my usual routine

Serum: The first morning and night I put this on I got a very slight tingling to it. It went on very smooth and my skin felt fantastic. Over time my complexion has definitely brightened and looks clearer with use. I LOVED the previous serum and this one doesn't disappoint either.

Eye-cream: I love the applicator. I've had another brand of eye cream with the same applicator and I love it. It feels cool on the eye area. The actual tube it’s in is quite firm and I felt I had to squeeze well and truly to get product to the applicator and sometimes I'd then have too much product - so recommend storing the tube on its lid on sloped towards the lid to have the product waiting when you squeeze. Eye area wrinkles and puffiness aren't a big problem area for me, but it was a lovely product on and certainly made the eye area feel moisturised and soft.

Day Cream: this one was a problem for me - it goes on lovely, and is super nourishing, and you definitely don't have dry skin, but it felt greasy and extra shiny..... and that was fine except when it came time for makeup, and using a BB cream rather than foundation I found the BB cream slid around my face and caked in places - I'd have to use my fingers to smooth it out and powder to de-shine me.... The BB cream is a separate dilemma for me so maybe a different one would work better for me - but it was probably my biggest issue with the products for this review

Night Cream - YES! A nourishing night cream/mask that my skin LOVED! IT is heavy, but it is a mask, but with that it is super nourishing and from Day 1 I woke up with lovely baby soft skin, that with time looked smoother and clearer (likely a combo of serum and the cream! With having the night mask in my routine, I found I was less critical of the dryness of my skin during the day which was a big flaw in my previous routine as I always felt dry and aged by the end of the day - obviously I didn't have the right night product until now. I really like this night cream and will keep it in my routine.

I enjoyed all of these products - some more than others. The night cream was probably the big win for me in helping with my on-going dry skin – it turned around my skin very quickly. My skin overall has a much better texture and is super soft. Without makeup, it looks brighter. I'd possibly switch out the day cream for another, it just left me feeling to shiny/greasy - but I didn't feel I had dry skin end of the day so it certainly does its job.

I will say re. packaging that the day and night cream containers are so heavy! I dropped one into the porcelain sink and thankfully it didn't break and the sink lived too, but I was worried! Very attractive looking packaging etc. though. Have always liked the serum pump bottle.

If you are particularly bothered by dry, ageing skin I think these products are a great regime to change that!

Ever since I entered the 30s club I have tried my best to have a skin care routine (more specifically since joining Beauty review) , in my early 20s there was no routine in place, I slept with makeup on and I cringe just thinking about how badly I treated my skin. When I got an invite for the L'Oreal revitalift laser x3 regime I was like a kid on Christmas and I couldn't wait to see how my skin would react to these.

Step 1: Serum. My skin loved the serum, it soaked up every last drop. It comes in a rectangle glass bottle with a pump top, 2 pumps were more than enough to apply to my neck and face. It disperses the perfect amount and not too much. After applying this to my face I see an instant glow and hydrated skin. I was a little disappointed that the serum lasted 3 weeks instead of 4 but other than that I was extremely happy with how my skin liked the serum. After waiting a few minutes I go in with the day or night cream.

Step 2: Day cream. I found the day cream heavier than other day creams I had used in the past but it didn't effect how quickly it absorbed into my skin. I would dip my finger into the heavy glass jar and apply this to all over my face and neck, focusing on the frown lines, smile lines and under my eyes. I enjoy how hydrating this makes my skin look and feel. Within moments the cream is absorbed and my skin is soft to touch. The only downfall is I wish the day cream had SPF in their formula.

Step 3: Night cream. The consistency of the night cream was light to my surprise as the night creams I have used in the past were quite thick and heavy. I would dip my finger into the glass jar and apply this to my face and neck, I massage this downwards into my skin. Waking up the next day my skin looks plump and full, it is hydrated and feels very soft. I like how nourished and refreshed this makes my skin look after a good nights sleep.

Step 4: Eye cream. I really like the metal applicator it comes with that disperses the product from the middle, it has a cooling and calming effect once it touches my skin. The cream has a slight chemical smell and when I first started applying this I could feel a tingly sensation which doesn't happen anymore. I have noticed the dark circles have subsided and reduced, the fine lines are less visible but I was hoping it would've been more of an improvement.

Overall I enjoyed using and applying the L'Oreal revitalift laser x3 range, my skin looks much better. The scarring has become less visible, the black circles have lightened, the frown lines and smile lines have reduced by 50%, my fine lines under my eyes are not so noticeable but the creasing hasn't changed very much.

I am happy with the results and want to see if my skin will continue to change so I will be purchasing the regime. Thank you Beauty review for allowing me to trial these products.

I love these products. I’ve been using them for about 2 weeks now, and the results are incredible. I’ve found my skin to be more toned and even in complexion, and MUCH softer. I’ve had people telling me my skin looks amazing, or complementing my makeup when I’m not wearing any!

The price is steep for me, but not so bad compared to some other brands. Considering it works so well I think the price is worth it. I also managed to score some awesome discounts by waiting for sales at places like Countdown and the Warehouse.

Each product is boxed with specific instructions and comes in gorgeous ruby red packaging. They look good on the dresser.

There’s a decent amount in each pot/bottle, but you really don’t need much to spread, so I’m thinking I can really make these last long!

Overall I’m super happy I decided to try Revitalift X3 and I’d definitely buy again.

L'Oreal is my favourite skincare brand, and with good reason, their skin care products usually live up to their claims. I've been fortunate enough to get selected to trial the LASER X 3 range, lucky me!

SERUM: This comes in a red glass bottle with a pump dispenser. Two pumps does the entire face and neck. It has a delicate rose scent, its slightly creamy (other serums I've tried are either liquid or gel), and it applies very easily. Loving it.

EYE CREAM: This is in a tube with a metal applicator. I'm not too sure what this is meant to to achieve as you still need to use fingers to smooth the cream in but it does have a cooling affect, and along with the caffeine would help reduce puffiness. It is a light thinnish cream with a barely detectable scent, this also applies well, and there is no greasiness.

DAY CREAM: Also comes in red glass, has a similar scent to the serum. The consistency is quite thick for a day cream but it's not greasy and also applies easily.

NIGHT CREAM: Again in a nice red jar and a similar scent. I was a bit surprised as it has a slight gel-like consistency and seems lighter than the day cream. However, it is lovely to put on and does not leave my skin feeling a bit heavy and oily like some night creams, so a big tick from me.

I've been using this range for nearly a month and overall I really like it. The packaging, metallic and red is eye-catching and looks very nice sitting on the shelf altogether. I also like and appreciate that all 4 products smell the same or similar and it's pleasant and not overpowering. My skin tone has improved and definitely looks a lot more even and hydrated. My guess is these would last around 2 months so at the price that's good value for a very nice skin care regime.

I am super stoked with the way the range makes my skin feel and pretty happy with the appearance too apart from not noticeably any change to my fine lines between my eyes or forehead. I will however definitely be continuing with this skin care regimen because it’s definitely helped my skins firmness. The whole rage smells absolutely lovely and the packaging is amazing. I think it’s great value for money. My favourite of the lot is the eye cream. Basically I apply the serum first then either the day or night cream and lastly the eye cream. Instantly fresher and firmer skin and perfect under makeup.
