KMS Moist Repair Therapy Treatment Review

This treatment is really norishing and is aimed at giving as much moisture into the hair as possible, is a perfect weekly treatment for people with dry ends. Its quite thick in texture so is more suitable to medium/thick textured hair as i find in finer hair it can weigh it down a bit too much. product is good but packaging is pretty average. not the easiest to use.

I bought this from a salon when KMS were doing a promotion. I'm a big fan of hair masks and have used and loved several KMS products, so I had high hopes for this.

The product itself is great - a really thick texture that easily spreads in the ends of my hair. I leave it in for about five minutes, and rinse it out to leave me with soft, manageable hair that feels nourished.

However. The packaging is just awful. It looks like it has a standard flip top cap with a nozzle to squeeze the product out, but instead you rotate the entire cap to expose a hole that the product squeezes out of. This means that you always get a little bit extra when you close the cap again, and it's impossible to do one handed. It gets really hard to get more product out only halfway through using it, which is incredibly frustrating.

If this came in a tub or a normal tube I would buy it again, but the dud packaging is a deal breaker.

I really liked using this hair treatment. It left my hair looking beautiful; shiny, soft and healthy.

The product is a very, very thick paste (a bit like some glue) and you don't need much. When you get it out of the tube it applies easily to your hair. I did tend to mix it with a bit of conditioner to get a runnier texture, but this isn't a necessary step. After leaving in for 10-15 minutes I got great results, and it was pretty easy to wash out.

I did have an issue with the packaging. The bottom (black bit in the picture above) twists down, and you squeeze the tube to make the product come out. This is usually fine, but the paste is so thick that it becomes quite difficult to get out when you get about halfway through the tube - especially with wet/soapy hands. I got to the point where I had to get someone else to help squeeze out the product.

Overall, I won't buy this again. NOT because of the product - which I adored - but the packaging makes it too difficult.
