L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Smooth Intense Shampoo Review

I love this shampoo so much I think I got it from the vault last time and used it up and need more!! This makes my hair smooth and silky and it smells great and I love the colour of it. It lathers up really nicely and I think it's a shampoo that makes my hair beautiful

I am obsessed with this shampoo! It makes my hair so soft and shiny. My hair has never looked this healthy. And it smells amazing.

I use this every other day and it never makes my hair oily. My hair is usually really dry at the ends and oily at the roots and now its all balanced out from root to tip. My hair is the healthiest it has ever been and that is saying a lot as I box dye all the time.

I recommend this especially to people with bleached,damaged hair as it will bring that moisture back and repair your hair.

Dry hair, Difficult to smooth?? CHECK! Smooth intense anti frizz shampoo? YES PLEASE!

Thanks to the BRBV (Beauty review beauty vault) I was introduced to this Shampoo. My hair is quite thick and frizzy and I find it super hard to find products that can tame my mane and be gentle on my dry sensitive skull without giving me dandruff.

I did a little reading up on the product before it arrived and found it was a shampoo with Argan oil and thermos protection, both really good for humid weather and when using hair styling tools.

The bottle is a clear orange/gold colour in which you can see the shampoo and how much is in the bottle. The colour of the shampoo is what you would expect of a hair oil. The shampoo it self smells lovely, every time I put it through my hair I thought mmmm apples, although apples isn't an ingredient. Its not to runny nor is it too thick its perfectly balanced.

I used a small amount each time I washed my hair (every second day) the size of an old 50 cent coin, it was easy to massage through my hair and rinse out. My hair felt quite light after washing it. Now I didn't see 'results' straight away but after a week of using this shampoo my hair was left feeling soft and light once dry, not frizzy and thick. I didn't even need to use an oil in my hair to straighten my hair afterwards as the shampoo had left my hair feeling silky and soft enough without it, must be that argan oil doing its job :)

I didn't want to write a review until I had finished the bottle to see whether I would get dandruff, whether my skull would get itchy due to being sensitive and to see if the shampoo continued to last the distance. I love this shampoo! my hair is so much more under control, its soft and silky without looking greasy, my hair doesn't get frizzy half way through the day and I haven't had dandruff, WIN!

I continue to use this shampoo and wont be changing any time soon. I am quite interested to see how it stands up to the summer weather with my hair being even harder to tame!

I was very excited to try the L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Smooth Intense Shampoo after LOVING the Smooth Intense Conditioner, and I must say that I am pretty pleased with it! Although it wasn't quite as enjoyable to use or effective as the conditioner, I still think this is a good product and I'll definitely use it all up!

The packaging is GREAT, especially for someone like me who hates having to squeeze product out of badly designed haircare bottles. The cute design makes it super easy to squeeze out just the right amount of product.

I found the scent of this shampoo much less fragrant and striking as the conditioner, but it smells fine and quite nondescript. It lathers up really well, and leaves your hair feeling super clean afterwards.

My only scruple is that it didn't really help my hair become any smoother or less frizzy, and for this reason I wouldn't recommend it to a friend. However, I personally was in desperate need of a good, cleansing shampoo that would leave my hair feeling super clean - and this totally did the job! So ultimately am pretty pleased with this one.

I had high hopes for L'Oreal Paris Elvive Smooth Intense Shampoo. My hair is colour damaged so super dry and frizzy on the best of days. My instant thoughts, new product and lets try this on the mop. Argan Oil, Thermo Protection and Anti Frizz it should be a winner. The bottle is standout colour wise with decent lids so you can get every last drip. I loved the smell, not over powering. I found it lathered nicely and a little goes a long one. This one has lasted longer than my others did normally.The shampoo rinsed well and left no residue. I followed this with the matching conditioner. Unfortunately when my hair was dry I looked like a fuzz ball. I noticed no reducation in the amount of de-frizz and was not a winner for me.

I grabbed the Shampoo and Conditioner, in the last Beauty Vault.

I love the thought of the smoothing, but unfortunately this didn't happen for me.

Leaves my hair a bit stringy after rinsing though.

So this makes me think it's not moisturizing enough?

I won't purchase again. My Hair was left feeling really dry.

I was lucky enough to get this shampoo and conditioner in the last beauty vault and was excited to try it on my unpredictable hair that after its air dried it turns into a fluff ball and it drives me crazy.

The bottle is amazing that it can be tipped upside down easily so we can get every last drop out and there is no wastage. The shampoo it's self is a nice translucent caramel colour and you really don't need much at all. Try and remember shampoo doesn't need to create a lot of bubbles to be doing its job.

I found this shampoo/ conditioner was a lot better in my 2 year old sons hair as he has quite tight ringlet curly hair that easily turns into a fluffy Afro, this shampoo along with the conditioner seamed to define my sons curls and stopped them going really frizzy. I think I'll continue to use it on his hair instead of my own

I was lucky enough to get my hands on L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Smooth Intense Shampoo in the last Beauty Review Vault.

The Shampoo comes in a transparent/bronze bottle with an easy to open flip top lid. I like that the lid is also flat, so you can turn the bottle upside down to capture all of the product.

What stood out for me was it is enriched with Argan Oil, Thermo Protection and it's Anti Frizz.

I do not need to use a large amount of L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Smooth Intense Shampoo in my long, thick hair. It lathers/foams easily and rinses out of my hair without leaving it feeling matted. The Shampoo itself is similar in colour to the packaging. It is also thick in texture and leaves my hair feeling very clean and somewhat soft, even before I condition.

L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Smooth Intense Shampoo has a nice fruity/fresh smell but the fragrance does not linger in my hair.

I follow Shampooing with the matching Conditioner. My hair looks shiny and there is less frizz and fly-aways, particularly around my face.

This is a good product that is readily available from Supermarkets or Pharmacies.

Easily as good as some of the salon shampoos I have purchased at a 10th of the price. Left my hair feeling really silky. Loved it and have continued to purchase it. Loved that it is made in France.

I have tried so many shampoos from supermarket, department stores through to Hair Salons over the years and this stuff ranks high up there!

I think its also very interesting that it is made in France with a lot of shampoos made in Asia. This to me shows me that they do care about quality vs price.

The shampoo itself is very thick and I found it hard to lather so I needed to use a fair bit to get dispersed through my super thick hair. The conditioner was a little bit runny so would last me awhile.

Even whilst wet my hair felt nourished and soft. Once dry my hair was noticeably softer and a small improvement in frizz. Compared to salon anti frizz products this shampoo is up there. However the reduction in frizz seems to only last 12-24 hours.

I am not in love with the fragrance but it is nice and not overpowering.
