ecostore Shampoo and Conditioner for Dry, Damaged or Coloured Hair

Loved this shampoo and conditioner. It smells really good and you dont need to use a lot so it goes a long way. The only down fall in my opinion is the packaging, its quite hard to balance upside down so if you want to get every last drop out of the bottle, that can be a little tricky.

I received some samples of the shampoo and conditioner and was really excited to try this brand. Especially because this brand prides itself on being natural and not full of other nasties that some shampoos and conditioners have. I love their hand soap and cleaning products so was really hoping I would love this pair as well.

First of all, I got about 6 uses out of the trial size and I have to say I'm glad I didn't buy the full sizes!

The packaging is distinctively Eco Store, white and plain. It's look is simple and effective, for its natural and healthy image.

The fragrance is different to other shampoos and conditioners, and smells rather like the products in their other ranges. It took me a little while to get used to, but I guess that's what happens when you have a product as natural as possible!

The shampoo only lathered slightly, but it did make my hair feel clean - but my hair was slightly more tangly than usual afterwards. The conditioner was rather thick consistency but was not very moisturising at all. My hair was very tangly and hard to work with after using this.

I have to say I'm really disappointed with this shampoo and conditioner. My blonde highlighted hair craves moisture, which this duo did not give. After using these for a week my hair was extremely dry and desperately needed some tlc.

I was relieved to get back to using my salon products- Kerastase and Aveda that do a wonderful job of giving moisture and hydration to my blonde locks.

Unfortunately I wouldn't repurchase this duo as they weren't effective for my hair.

However, I definitely will continue buying Eco Store products, but will just stick to buying cleaning products instead of shampoo/conditioner!

Totally skeptical about using a non salon product on my Hair I gave this set a go anyway.

Firstly.. The Shampoo is wonderful. I noticed after one wash my hair felt soft and silky and nice and clean.. Lovely light formula and not heavy at all.

With great success with the Shampoo I proceeded to Condition my hair and this is where things got pretty damn ugly..

My hair is a thick, mermaid wavy, dry and color damaged mess! I have never met a product on this mop that was too heavy as usually my hair soaks up all the goodness it can get from hair products.. What can I say.. Never again.

My hair was SO HEAVY after using the Conditioner.. Felt incredibly dry and actually felt like it had made my hair matted?! I was absolutely horrified. My hair whilst still in the shower after rinsing this stuff off actually felt like it was dreading together like dreadlocks.. And I felt like I couldn't get rid of this at all!

I am not big on having to have the matching Shampoo and Conditioner so it doesn't bother me that the Conditioner isn't to my liking so much.. But it bothers me that a Conditioner.. Which is meant to be the moisturizing icing on the hair washing cake.. ACTUALLY did what it did to my hair.

Highly recommend the Shampoo its beautiful. Steer clear of the Conditioner.. ESPECIALLY if you don't like weighty products and ESPECIALLY if your hair genuinely needs TLC!

I was lucky enough to receive a promotional trial of Ecostore Shampoo and Conditioner. The little bottles lasted 6 washes! This went a long way on my thick, long hair. I do like Ecostore packing, it's simple and modern. I like it is very clear about what is in their products and what is not. The fragrance does not linger but reminds me of their soap powder which we are also trying. The shampoo and conditioner dried my hair. The shampoo does not lather and my hair felt like straw. I could not even detangle my hair with conditioner in it. I do like other Ecostore products but will not be using hair products again.

Through promotion i received the samples of this Shampoo and conditioner, i loved it so much i went back and brought the full-size product ! for me this product keeps my hair fresher for longer than any other product ! it may not have much of a fragrance but that is beneficial to your hair, overall i thought this product was great ! i love using it !

If you have scalp issues then this natural product works great!! Dry and itchy scalp problems that cause breakouts, I find leaving the conditioner in for a day or so worked wonders.

I brought this shampoo and conditioner to try and used the full bottle of both over a period of 2months. I found it to thoroughly clean my hair and it was left soft without a confronting fragrance! The only trouble I had was it really dried my scalp so much that I got dandruff which I don't usually get, a few washes with a new shampoo and conditioner and it was back to normal. It is a really nice product but unfortunately just didn't work for me this time.

I was initially drawn to ecostore's shampoo and conditioner for dry, damagaed or coloured hair as I am on a continual search for my holy grail shampoo and conditioner for my dry, damaged AND coloured hair! I liked that ecostore was an environmentally friendly brand that was cruelty-free, and a friend had been recommending using 'natural' haircare to me so I gave it a go.

The packaging is simplistic in design, which I think really suits it's 'natural' image and makes it attractive to men and women of all ages.

I love the scent! It's only very lightly scented and pretty hard to describe but reminds me of essential oils, so not 'chemically' smelling at all.

Onto the products themselves..

The shampoo: I found the shampoo didn't really rather much, but I've heard this is standard for shampoo that uses natural ingredients and it isn't a big thing, just something I'm used to in my standard supermarket brand shampoos! I have long hair and had to use quite a bit to work it through my hair. I also found that it seemed to tangle my hair really easily! Afterwards, my hair did feel nice and clean but not overly stripped and squeaky like some shampoos can do.

The conditioner: The conditioner was similar to a body lotion in consistency and was great for detangling my hair after using the shampoo! Unfortunately, I have really dry ends so I found that this conditioner just didn't provide enough moisture for my hairs needs.

I won't be purchasing these again as they're just not conditioning enough for my hair, but I would recommend them for anyone wanting a nice, natural product who has more normal hair as opposed to overly dry and damaged.

I tried the shampoo and conditioner after receiving a sample via a promotion. I was underwhelmed. They did not have a very nice fragrance (and let's face it, we all want nice smelling hair!), the packaging did not draw me in, and it left my hair feeling quite dry.

I received sample sizes of the Shampoo & Conditioner via a promotion. A big part of choosing hair care for me is the scent and this is very natural smelling! Didn't notice any difference in my hair though

This product definitely does the job of cleaning your hair well so would be a great choice for the environmentally conscious consumer who doesn't mind paying a bit more for a hair cleansing system that gives the same results as cheap brands.
