ecostore Shampoo and Conditioner for Dry, Damaged or Coloured Hair

Was different to any normal shampoo & conditioner Ive ever used. I loved the idea of not containing any harmful chemicals in the product so I was keen to try it. First off the Shampoo said to only use a little for best results, but I found it didn't lather much so I wasn't sure If all my hair was getting covered properly. Conditioner was good as was like any other. End result I found that my hair was indeed nourished & soft while maintaining the colour in my hair if not brightening it. I have had a lot of compliments on the colour of my hair as it looks more alive & vibrant, loving it! Feeling like a new me, if it made this much difference after a couple of uses Id definitely recommend to others.

I have quite thick wavy hair that tends to be very dry and often gets straightened, which dries my hair out even more. This shampoo and conditioner didn't dry out my hair (many brands do) and left my hair feeling very soft. The only negative I found was that you needed quite a bit of shampoo to create a similar amount of lather you get from other shampoos; hence you may go through this product faster. The cost (RRP approx. $10.95) for only 100mls, combined with the time it would last compared to other shampoo/conditioners would be the only reason I would be hesitant to buy this myself. Otherwise I really liked the product and found it left my hair in a better condition than many other shampoo/conditioners I have tried.

I have been using the shampoo and loving it, onto my second or third bottle now. Leaves my hair feeling clean, but not stripped of all its goodness. I do find that I don't get much of a lather, but it still does its job and after going through a couple of bottles, I really don't miss it. And the bottle doesn't lie - you really do only need a little.

I have had my skin react badly to shampoos before, so the "No nasty chemicals" promise is reassuring.

I have been really pleased with this Shampoo and Conditioner combo. The smell is quite nice and it lingers in my hair for the day it was washed. I recently had some purple put into my hair and these products have done a great job maintaining the colour and after it has been washed the colour always looks more vibrant. Overall my hair is looking great and is really soft and shiny. You don't need to use a huge amount of product and I find it lathers up really well even though its an eco product without all of the nasties added to make it really bubbly.

This shampoo really didn't do it for me. It made my hair really dry and I had to use heaps of conditioner to be able to it not be knotty. I expected more from Eco Store as I enjoy using their soap and hand wash but was unfortunately let down :(

I was excited for this product, as I mainly use ecostore cleaning products and body products, but I was really disappointed. The shampoo made my hair drier than normal products with SLS, which was really surprising, and the conditioner didn't really help much either. I contacted their customer support, and they sent me new products in case I had a bad one, and the effect was much the same. It's such a shame, as the rest of their products are so good.

I really like Eco store products in general. I have a sensitive scalp and don't like to use products with any harmful chemicals. I trust this brand because of the name and that it is a local business and because it works. I used the fragrance free shampoo and conditioner as I thought I would be able to tolerate this the best. It did what it said it was going to do and did not have a scent. It left my hair very clean and untangled. The only thing I found was if I used it every day it would start irritating my scalp and it would be a bit itchy.

I brought this conditioner from the supermarket with high hopes (I always buy the laundry powder, laundry liquid, dishwash and handsoap); I have a sensitive scalp and this irritated it after 3 uses. It also left my hair tangled. I didn't buy the shampoo at all, as I only shampoo once a week. I really wanted to like this product but I will not be purchasing again. Will stick to the cleaning products though.

I love and use Ecostore products regularly, however the shampoo and conditioner was a real disappointment.

I have long, thick and curly hair and this combo turned my hair to straw. Persisted with it and ended up with terrible dandruff.

Give it a go, but don't have high hopes.

This product started off really well when I was washing my hair. The shampoo made it feel a little bit "straw" like, but nothing too terrible and a problem usually solved by the conditioner, however after applying the conditioner and rinsing out, the longer I left my hair to dry, the worse it became. My hair felt horrible, really dry and just yuck. Maybe it just isn't suited to curly hair? Who knows, but I certainly won't be using it again sorry.
