Trilogy Smooth & Nourish Shampoo Review

I love this shampoo. It has a pleasent smell and leaves my hair silky and not weighed down. Good for those with sensitive skin and scalp too!

I purchased this along with the conditioner that I absolutely love and want a never ending supply of.

After the Sept BRBB and trying the make up be gone balm I really wanted to try more trilogy products, Trilogy has been a bit hit or miss for me but never the less I wanted more!

The big section of Trilogy products at our local pharmacy had my not knowing what to buy so settled with the shampoo and conditioner even though the price tag is a bit ouchy at $24.90 per bottle

This comes in a sleek white cylinder bottle, with the anti spill lid that you have to press down for the shampoo to come out.

The colour of this is an opaque white it's scented on the fruiter side, but not overpowering.

I squeeze out a good dollop and start running it through my hair and my first thought was UH OH it's a miss. My hair felt like it had been washed with dishwashing liquid it had that "squeaky" feeling and like my hair had been stripped... Or maybe it was because it was actually clean?!

I couldn't wait to get the conditioner in though to sort it out. I won't be repurchasing this shampoo because I really didn't like the "squeaky clean" feeling and find cheaper shampoos just as good.

The Trilogy haircare range comes in two ranges, Refresh and Shine and Smooth and Nourish. The Smooth and Nourish range is described for everday use for dry and damaged hair, made with Keracyn, rosehip, coconut and white tea. Keracyn from artichokes is antioxident and protein rich and it protects the hair by coating it in a restorative and protective botanical shield. It helps repair hair and reduce frizz ideal for coloured or heat damaged hair.

I was keen to mix it up and try different haircare products and when I found the Smooth and Nourish I thought it sounded perfect for my hair. My hair is thick, dry and prone to frizz, I have been using these for a month now and have found it leaves my hair soft and silky. With these products I only have to wash my hair every two – three days and it doesn’t get oily in between.
