Goodness Every Morning Moisturiser

I received this in the BRBB and was pretty excited about it. It was in a gorgeous pink-purple tube, smelled delicious, and has no nasties. What's not to love, right?

The issue for me is that this is a really hydrating moisturiser. Not as issue for those with dry skin or maybe even normal skin but I have combination-oily skin so it was just too heavy for me. The cream itself is very thick which makes it difficult to spread it thinly on the skin.

Not all is lost though, It makes a lovely hand cream and I've even started using it as a body lotion too!

I got this in the BRBB. I hadn't heard much about this brand or product before so I was excited to try it. The packaging was lovely, in a nice pink/purple colour, the tube was the same colour and had some good eye-catching font. Out of the box, the tube feels very luxury and smooth which I liked. I also loved the piece of paper/note thats inside the box, you should read it, its not what you think :) The moisturiser comes out in a good consistency, not runny at all, but not too dry and it smells devine. It feels so lovely on my skin afterwards, and I'm sure it helps my foundation set better, it looks a lot smoother, almost like a primer.

Other reviews have mentioned using it as a hand cream, I hadn't thought of this, but I think ill try it :)

Overall, great product and I will be looking out for this brand again and seeing what else I can try!

I had seen this product mentioned here and there so was definitely happy it was in the BRBB I literally washed my makeup off and tried this straight away. Firstly the packaging. A pinky/purply box very nice. Inside was the cuteset note that had me giggle. Do all their products have a note?? I hope so. The tube is the same colour as the box with a grey screw top lid. Id prefer a snap lid but hey I'm still loving it. The moisturizer is a smooth white consistency not thick or runny and it smells devine. Only a small amount is needed as it spreads easily. I was worried with my combo oily skin this might be heavy on me but it was just the opposite. It soaks in almost immediately and doesn't sit on top of my skin. It hydrates nicely without clogging. So I'm very happy with this and am interested in trying other products from them. I hope they all come with a note;)

I love the packaging of this product, nice simple easy to use. Product itself is really nice and thick, much more than I expected from a 'morning moisturizer'.

The problem with this product and my skin is that although it sits well in the morning, a few hours later I am an oil slick. I am well aware that this means this product is not suited to my skin and that's why I have given it the rating I have.

I've never really had a problem with a moisturizer being too heavy. In saying this though if you have any dry spots this is a fantastic wee moisturizer to use on specific parts of my face just not all over. Very hydrating but just not my cup of tea!

Reading the reviews below I can understand why they said use it as a hand cream...I might try that as I dislike wasting products!

It can take me 3 days or 2 weeks to react to a skincare product and I kid you not I’ve been crossing my fingers for this to work. I have sensitive skin and I just managed to pass the 2 week period and I’m quite stoked. Before you start thinking this is the next best thing since slice bread; it’s not BUT I do think it’s a flipping good start.

Personally the packaging is not visually appealing (and it has nothing to do with the fact that I hate pink – well maybe a tiny bit). It comes in pastel pink packaging with a grey lid and I just find that it looks rather – cheap. I would never have picked it up myself because to me it doesn’t reflect the goodness (ugh no pun intended) that’s inside. I think I prefer the box better than the bottle.

It has a rich lightweight texture where the product just melts into your skin, very similar to Cetaphil moisturiser but not as thick. I probably use more than I should (once I got an inkling that I wouldn’t react to it) but I find that if I use a small amount that I don’t get that softness I’m after, my face is “just moisturised”. If I use too much then I’m at risk of becoming a walking oil slick which is never good considering I also have oily skin.

I notice that there is some sort of sensation or slight tingle on my face after each use and I’m hoping that’s just the product working its magic and not a sign that I’ll eventually react to it. That aside the product leaves my face feeling refreshed, hydrated and soft throughout the day. I generally get this feeling when I finish a face mask where I use 3 products and this is just one product! I only have 2 key issues with this product:

1. It doesn’t have SPF - prior to becoming a BR member I didn’t even care about it but now I do so I have to use this under another face cream that has SPF (bit much for oily skinned beauties) or alternatively just use it at night

2. I don’t like the scent – it smells like they just added an artificial fragrance to what would have otherwise been a rather dull smelling product

I’m really happy I received this in the September BRBB and this is one product I plan on repurchasing.

I got this is the Beauty Box and was really pleased .It is in a nice pink box and inside a pink tube with mocha writing and a silver screw top.. A nice little note inside the box completes the initial overview.( something special) The moisturizer comes out in a good consistency, and has a lovely scent which I would think hints of the bilberries and coconut.The scent isnot too strong and really nice to apply. It makes my skin feel so lovely and soft and it looks a lot smoother. I like that is is a NZ product using natural ingredients and I also like that it is available from supermarkets and Farmers. I have try skin and this makes my skin feel really nice and on my makeup free days I feel my skin looks soft and healthy with this cream. This is a really good base prior to BB cream as it seems to make the BB cream go further. The cost is reasonable at $20 for 75 ml and worth the price.

I received this product in the September Beauty box which was great. I think My previous moisturizer was causing my face to break out, so when I received this one I decided to stop using my other one and start using this one both day and night. The next day I started to see results and my face started clearing up. It has such a lovely scent which isn't to strong but its nice and refreshing great for in the mornings. It also it great at moisturizing your skin leaving your skin soft and nourished. I would highly recommend this product and it is a great product for value as well.

love the smell.absorbs nicely and doesnt leave a greasey after feel.i use it on my decollage for a really soft youthful look

I finally found my holy grail morning foundation! I love the natural smell and I find it very refreshing in the morning. It is a light feeling moisturiser but it supplies your skin with alot of moisture. I like that it makes your skin feel soft and is absorbed quickly whcih means no waiting around before starting your makeup routine. Can't wait to try some of the other items in their range!
