REALLY liked the colour pay out on this! Bottle was a generous size and packaging easy to read.

The liner itself could be used without the lashes I found when applying the lashes I needed to reapply purely for lash stickability. Rather than colour pay out.

It didnt have any overwhelming smells or over whelming fragrances to it either . The brush is extremely thin and I think for those who struggle to apply eyeliner it could be made thicker.

Im an eyeliner queen so I dont have that issue but others might need a sturdier brush or a pen applicator!.

This eyeliner comes in black cardboard packaging and has a gold lid, speaking to the glam in the name.

The formula itself seems quite watery, as there are bubbles on the applicator as you pull it out, but I didn’t experience any dripping. As a total liquid novice, I was worried about applying this, but the fact the tip is super fine helped a lot and I got nice even lines.

The eyeliner is quite pigmented (read: very black) and after the initial 60 second drying time, stays in place. Even when applying if I made a mistake, it was quite difficult to remove without actual make up remover. It would last all day without smudging, so I was quite impressed at its longevity. Unfortunately, I was unable to test it in the rain so couldn’t say how waterproof it is.

When removing at night, I would find it would take a few goes across my eye to get the liner completely off. It smudges off like normal liners if it’s not dried, but once it has dried, it flakes off.

While the magnetised lash system itself leaves something to be desired, I really liked the eyeliner and I would definitely use this on its own. I just need to learn how to wing well first.

I wouldn't consider myself a professional when it comes to applying eyeliner but I think I can do a half descent job. The eyeliner is black, liquid and comes in a small 5ml tube with a chrome lid. The tip is precise and the formula is a good consistency (not too runny or dry). The eyeliner I believe is easy to apply and left a professional looking result. It was easy to get close to the lash line without irritating my eyes. The instruction say to wait 60 second but more time was needed for it to be fully dried. I did have some issues with the eyeliner lifting once I tried pressing down the eyelashes, making reapplication necessary and I felt like I needed a lot of eyeliner just to get them to try and stay down. Removal of the eyeliner is easy and requires a simple wipe or cleanse without the need of tugging the delicate eye area.

This eyeliner is easy to apply, the tip is a little longer than I usually use but is superfine at the end to get a nice sharp application. The formula itself is not overly thick but you have to give it a good shake before applying (I’m guessing to evenly distribute the magnetic particles). It is black with a bluish undertone, I would have preferred it if it was true black. The liner needed 2 applications for me before the lashes held. And when removing the lashes if you are not careful it lifts the liner. Applying it over shadow probably doesn’t help that but seriously I don’t wear eyeliner without eyeshadow!!! It also had a fumey kind of feel and the first time I wore it my eyes felt a bit hot. After that I was fine so not sure if something else contributed. Overall pretty average for a liner but it suits its purpose with the lashes.

PACKAGING Gives clear instructions and clear on 'how to use' using clear, simple pictures as a guide. The bottle is sleek, small and easy to open, with a good stopper which gets rid of excess liner on the wand when removing it from the bottle, leaving it clean. The tip is very fine which is good for precision.

CONSISTENCY This eyeliner is very watery. This is one of the downfalls of this product. Because of how watery it is, it gets messy quickly. I'm sure this can be mastered with practice and regular use, but someone like me, who has worn liquid liner for years on a daily basis and with flicks..this was messy the time I trailed this. I would prefer this product if it were thicker. So, definitely shake well before use to avoid light lumpiness.

APPLICATION The consistency definitely plays a part in the messiness of the application. It can transfer and smear a lot more than normal liquid liner when you first apply. It can also easily go into the inner corner of your eye and spread which stings.

MAGNETISM The magnetism is there, but it is not strong. I found the lashes stayed when I did three coats, but even then the inner corners of the lashes wouldn't magnetise completely. I feel that this product is a good concept, but needs more developing in order to make the magnetising more successful.

This is a great eyeliner. Simple to use, easy to wear all day. Pigment pay off is AMAZING. I love that it has a super fine brush applicator, and once this stuff is on, it doesn't budge, crack, flake, smear. It stays just where you put it. The upside of this is that it works great as an everyday liner. Then if you want to head out for the night, it's still in place by the end of the day and you can just plop the magnetic lashes on top, no fuss, no glue, no mess. LOVE IT.

I trialled the Glam by Manicare Magnetising Eyeliner as part of the whole Manicare Magnetising System. The eyeliner comes in a small tube, with a silver lid and has a fine point, perfect for applying close the lash line. I found the eyeliner easy to apply in a smooth line with no tugging. You do need to use quite a lot of product if you want to attach the Magnetising eyelashes so I imagine you would get through the tube fairly quickly. The liner was easy to remove using my usual make up remover. I would not use the Magnetising system again but found the eyeliner nice to use and I will continue to use it as a stand alone product

This eyeliner goes on easily though be careful that you don't have too much on the brush or it can leak into your eye. The brush is superfine to enable a precise stroke/application although I feel that it could have been slightly bigger due to the fact that you need a good wide strip to enable the lashes to sit. Make sure that it is completely dry or it will not work as the magnets from the lashes will pull some off and won't sit. I found two coats worked better and letting each coat to dry thoroughly.

I was very sceptical of this...how could an eyeliner be magnetic?

First I want to talk about it being an eyeliner. It has a nice thin applicator. It is easy to hold and use. Very similar to other brush eyeliners on the market.

The colour was a very bold black. I prefer a little less bold but that's just personal preference. It dried fast and didn't transfer onto other areas of the eyelid like some do. It did have a slight shine to it. So just depends on preference if you like that or more matte.

For the eyeliner to work as a magnetic line it needs to be even all the way along the lash line. Some people like myself wouldn't usually draw along the entire lash line, so this took some getting used to.

Removing the eyeliner was interesting as it didn't just wipe off it kind of pealed off, which I wasn't expecting. But it was easy and quick to remove in your routine.

Overall did it do as it said.....yes surprisingly! It created a very strong hold with the magnets. It was like magic!

The eyeliner comes in a easy to use tube with a decent sized wand. The actual applicator tip is really thin which in this case works well because you do want a thin line to go on rather than a full thick liner. (You can use your everyday normal liner to thicken it and do a winged eye) make sure that you have enough on just so that the lash magnets are able to stick. For $50 for a 5ml tube, that is expensive so I would definitely not want to waste it. The pack comes with instructions on how to use and apply. The consistency is very watery which might be a problem for some especially if you haven’t mastered the technique to apply a thin line or if you are prone to watery eyes. Personally I managed to glide it on without much difficulty but had to make sure that I didn’t get it in my eye because it did irritate my eyes a bit when a little bit went in from the sides. Goes on smoothly and looks like normal black liner. Wait for it to,dry completely before applying lashes otherwise you will end up with smudges. Was easy to clean off any slips and smudge with Q tip soaked with micellar water and found it was easy to wash off the product with my regular face wash and cleanser. Overall a bit pricey for the pack size and a couple of teething flaws which I’m sure Glam will be able to tweak and improve on over time.
