Garnier Fructis Hair Food Macadamia Shampoo

Firstly I really like the lid and shape of this bottle as it makes it so much easier to hold and open while in the shower. This shampoo lathers up well without loads of bubbles that go every where, its just the right amount to help you spread it through your hair and go where you need it. I only wash my hair 2-3 times a week otherwise it gets out of control frizzy and much dryer so I loved finding after rinsing the shampoo off I actually feel like my hair has had a deep clean and not just over the surface it also seems brighter in colour. It washes out easily without my hair starting to tangle as I rinse it and feels nourished and not dry like some other shampoos made my hair feel after washing it. I really like this shampoo and it is one I will continue to use as my hair feels so good.

I'm a mahoosive fan of the Garnier Hair Food mask - I've been using it religiously since it came out. So I was super excited to land a spot on this trial team!

The bottle is TO DIE FOR! It looks like something you'd find at the Organic market or something.

The shampoo lathers beautifully and cleanses the hair gently without being over-astringent. I don't buy into the idea of double shampooing, and this hasn't changed my mind. One shampoo leaves hair super fresh and clean.

My hair has been so soft and shiny since using this shampoo.. It doesn't weigh hair down and leaves hair manageable, frizz-free and so gorgeously scented! I was huffing my locks all day after use!

I think this shampoo ticks all the boxes. It cleanses, its scents and its economical. What more can a gal ask for?

Garnier have knocked it out of the park with this range.

I have used these products 3 times since receiving them and I have already noticed such a difference in my hair! It’s not so dry and dull anymore! I would and have recommended this to family already! Not only is it so refreshing to use but I love the fact that both shampoo and conditioner are 96% and 97% natural origin! Awesome product and will only purchase this from now on! I am going to try the hair mask that accompanies this duo!

After waiting for reviews, I decided this looked like the shampoo to buy next, and I wasn't disappointed. I have curly hair that often feels quite dry and dull, and using this shampoo has really lifted it and made it feel soft and healthy. My blonde highlights even look brighter. Much like the Mask this delivers on all the promises of hydration Very cute packaging too! This is a keeper for me - a new favourite.

I picked this up in the Beauty Vault, thanks BR. I absolutely love the Hair Food mask range so was excited when they released a shampoo and conditioner range.  Of course I have made it my mission to try them all! It comes in a 350ml bottle with a flip top lid which resembles a smoothie bottle. I like the packaging!

The shampoo is semi thick with an almost gel like texture.  It smells soooo good, it's very sweet but not overwhelming. It is targeted towards dry and unruly hair which mine certainly is sometimes.

I always do a double shampoo and with the second shampoo I always get a lot more lather going. I give this a good massage through my hair then wash it off, I get a tiny bit of colour washout with this.

Once dry my hair feels clean and soft. I use this with the matching conditioner and they make a great pair. Will definitely purchase this again.

I was very excited to try this shampoo as in the last year my hair has become very frizzy after I wash it and I have to say I am very impressed! The bottle is not very attractive but is a nice shape to hold when slippery in the shower. I'm not very keen on the scent... It has a distinct macadamia smell, which is no surprise as this is what it is made out of, but I prefer more perfume scents. It is quite a thick clear gel and lathers very easily so you don't need a lot. After a few washes I can feel a slight coating on my hair which is not greasy or weighed down but has calmed the frizz. I used this shampoo in conjunction with the conditioner and am very pleased with the results.

First off, I really like this packaging. It's a slimmer, smaller bottle than most, so it's less awkward to manage when wet, and it fits more easily into the shower shelves too. I do quite like the pump top option generally, but this flip-top lid clicks solidly shut and seals well, which is great for travelling, and it's easy to dispense exactly how much product you want. Plus it's all recyclable, which is a huge plus in my book.

The shampoo itself is clear and quite thick, like a lightweight gel, and has a mild, very pleasant, sweet vanilla-y, lightly coconut-y sort of fragrance. Not overpowering at all. Just really nice.

Now to the formula... It's great! Perfect for my dry, thick, very curly hair. It's gentle and moisturising; it doesn't create a really foamy lather, more of a soft, creamy lather, which I like, as I feel like the high-foaming shampoos often strip my hair. This one feels like it's nurturing and cleansing at the same time. Perfect for me. And it doesn't weigh down my hair at all.

I found I didn't need to use much product at all for it to do its job, so, yes, it's a smaller bottle than some, but it'll last well.

I would recommend this to anyone with dry or curly hair. It made my hair feel hydrated and nourished but also clean and light, making my curls more bouncy and shiny. I'm not sure I'd say they were smoother... To achieve really glossy, high-definition, smoothed curls, I need to add a leave-in cream or mousse, usually formulated with silicone, sadly. But I generally do that just when I want my hair to look extra special, so for my daily care, I'll be really happy to avoid the nasties and silicones, and keep things as natural as possible with the lovely Macadamia Hair Food. It's a keeper.

I really liked this shampoo, you only needed to use a little bit, and it foams up well. the smell was absolutely gorgeous, the bottles are small. 350 mils which is handy if you want to travel with them or take them to the gym. the downside to that is it runs out if you have a big family, so best if you keep it to yourself, and not share! it left my hair feeling full of volume and so, so shiny

Naturally I have long curly and dry hair. I usually need a lot of shampoo to get it fully clean. When I read vegan for some reason I assumed it wouldn't be a latherer. I was wrong! Didn't take much product at all to be a foamy cloud on my head. Product has a beautiful smell. My hair was left clean and shiny. I also really like the packaging and the ease of getting product out like a ketchup bottle.
