I purchased this foundation after considering it for a long time. I was color and skin matched and was given shade 220 natural beige for oily/combination skin. I still can't quite figure out if I'm a fan or not! I have pretty typical combination skin and this foundation seemed to leave me dry on my cheeks and forehead. It does have good buildable coverage and still allows skin to breathe. I think I might try another skin type if I choose to repurchase.

Tips: Definatly better to use a foundation brush to apply this makeup. Would not reccomend using hands as it just doesn't seem to go on smoothly.
This was a great foundation for me to start out and experiment with. I wore this in the shade 'Ivory' but unfortunately it's a little too light for me, and the next colour up 'Buff' is too dark. I'd say it's the best department store foundation you can buy, its staying power is incredible. It provides medium-high coverage and is buildable.
The downside? If applied too heavily can look unnatural and cakey. The biggest negative for me - it clogs my pores and tends to break me out a little. If you were to buy it from Walmart it would be worth its $12USD price tag, but it's not worth its more than double price in NZ.
Tips: Spend a little extra and go for MAC liquid foundation, (I go for NW13) it matches perfectly, is higher coverage and lasts just as long. The quality is superior and it doesn't irritate my skin.
As I have lighter skin I really enjoyed the colour range of Revlon's foundation but was a bit saddened to find that the coverage was not quite enough. My skin is dry normally and I use a primer before wearing foundation for a few hours however this did not prolong the wear of this foundation as it easily melted down. I would use this foundation in summer or on the odd occasion that I seek a lighter coverage but not for a night out.
This is the foundation I am using at the moment. I admit I am a Revlon girl, but I find this foundation isn't flash for me as by the end of the day most of it has come of and you can tell my skin is really dry. Too be honest I think after this I might need to find a new brand altogether.
This foundation did bad things to my skin. Firstly, I have really dry and sensitive skin that is prone to flaking and going scaly when it gets dry. This foundation does stick to the skin, but I found it really stuck to my dry areas, so by the afternoon my coverage looked really patchy! I can see the benefit for people who have more of a consistent skin tone, but for me it ended up looking like my cheeks were sliding off and my forehead and chin were powdered. I thoroughly moisturised my face beforehand before applying, in the hopes that it wouldn't dry my skin out so much but it didn't make any difference. I ended up using it everyday for about 2 weeks before putting it in the draw and going back to my previous foundation, which is a shame because the shade matched my skin perfectly.
I didn't use a primer, which probably would make a difference but I'm more of a 2 minute make up kinda gal.
I hated this foundation, it felt heavy on my skin, smudged off whenever I touched my face and left me feeling greasy and oily!
okay so i see so many people raving about this product and i honestly dont see what all the fuss is about. its some what good but there are others just as good/better than this for half the price?!
Tips: using this with a beauty blender gives better coverage than using your fingers :)
I didn't like it at all really. I found that it clung to parts on my skin and was hard to blend. it didn't look very nice and it was a weird matte finish but came across as really chalky and cakey. It didn't look natural. it cracked on my nose a lot even though it was supposed to stop the dryness. The colour is good when first applied but after a while it seems to oxidize on my skin and goes all gross. It can be worked with and i still use it on my sister but i think there is many better foundations out there.
I was excited to try this out after reading so many fabulous reviews. I have very pale skin so was stoked when ivory fitted my skintone perfectly.
I prepped my skin and applied using my beauty blender. It is a very runny consistency and a little definately goes a long way. The coverage is great but it just did not sit on my skin well at all. It looked very cakey and obvious which I hate.
I tried applying this several ways and got the same outcome everytime. Any dry patches it seemed to cling too real bad and if I am honest it made it look worse.
So a big thumbs down from me which is a shame but we all know what works for one skin type may not for another.
I use to always use this foundation when i started out with make up, and to start with it was great, but then as i got older it just didnt stay on my face but the end of the day it had fallen off and went all patchy. I was not happy at all with the result after paying so much money to start with.
