Before seeing the BR ad on the ZA Kabuki brush, I had no clue what a kabuki was. Maybe something from japan that was similar to Kawaii ahaha.
While on holiday here in Australia Gold Coast, I headed into Kmart on the day after boxing day after the crowd had died down so I could get a relaxing look at everything while shopping. Along with other items and a few dresses, the Elf Kabuki brush ended up in my basket. At $12 AUD, I thought it was a bargain! ahha until seeing the Retail price in NZD. Woops! Ohwell, I was so excited to see what the hype was with kabuki brushes, I ended up making a shot for the bathroom to check out my new make up pieces. I opened this before anything, just to feel how soft it was, I dabbed it onto my clean face with nothing on it, and I pretty much fell inlove!
Elf has not disappointed me yet and I'm so happy that my skin loves Elf too!
I use this after everytime I put my make up on, with a bit of powder foundation to set my make up. Its so little and compact but it does the job so well and feels good while doing it. It gets into all my very fine lines, especially near my under eyes, and gives a nice matte look to my face.
Really really happy with this purchase!! I don't how I've been coping without one!
9/10 would recommend to friends and family. (only a nine, because I've never tried any other kabuki brush, and I feel like that's being a little one sided haha, but its definitely a must have for all make up beginners!)
I love E.L.F for many reasons, this kabuki is one of them, making an often a high-end and expensive item accessible for those of us with less cash to spare. I highly recommend you try this brush, it's nice and soft and does everything you want a kabuki to do at such a great price. Thanks E.l.F!
Tips: You can now purchase a number of E.L.F products including this brush from Kmart!
