Olay Total Effects Touch of Foundation BB Crème SPF15 Review

Hey ! This product arrived the next morning after the condemnation email ! I used it straight away and I love it!! It glides on to my face beautifully it's really email to use with a pump. Does take a few pumps to get it started when u first get it but that would be the only thing . It have a gorgeous light sent and is beautiful under my mineral foundation. I would not hesitate to buy this product again and it's not a bad price either. Just as good to use on its own Love love love it !!!!

I love Olay products and especially love Total Effects. My go to daily product is a BB cream as I'm a busy Mum and it's so easy to apply before the school run or work in the morning. So this little gem of a product is my two favourite products in one! It is the same great moisturiser we all know and love, my skin looks and feels amazing when I use this. Plus it has a tint to it so you can get away without having to wear foundation. How great is that?! I found it was slightly sheerer than some other BB creams I have used such as Garnier which is quite thick and gives more coverage and at first, I wasn't sure if it was enough. But after a few wears I realised I looked great just with that bit of coverage, it really evens out my skin tone and hides redness and even helps with my dark circles. I think my skin just looks better on its own after using it for the last two weeks! So no need for any more coverage now anyway! And if I go out at night I just bump it up by reapplying and then add some concealer, or I wear a CC cream underneath and it is still enough coverage and is not at all heavy like a foundation. So thank you for choosing me to trial this, I would definitely recommend it, you skin will thank you!

I love BB creams - so I have tried quite a few over the years. This product by Olay ticked all the boxes. It absorbs beautifully and is moisturising without being greasy. Coverage is light - unfortunately I need to use a concealer to cover pigmentation. I am quite fair, and the colour was perfect for me. I like the fact that it provides SPF15. Doesn't smell like much. Packaging is nice and the product is very reasonably priced. Yes, I will recommend it to a friend as I think it compares very well to other products with a hefty price tag.

As a woman in her 50s I have the usual old-lady skin issues going on - redness, wrinkles, furrows. The thought of wearing foundation horrifies me, all of that caking into the lines.

So a BB creme from one of my favourite brands was too intriguing to refuse. It arrived first thing in the morning and I couldn't wait, I moisturised and got stuck in.

It applied beautifully and while it definitely evened my skin tone and sort of softened my lines, it didn't feel or look like there was a layer of product on my face - I looked like a less red, less haggard me, but still me.

It was incredibly moisturising, and lasted the day at work. It smelled like sunscreen, but I didn't find that off putting, in fact a rather nice reminder I was using SPF.

It was quite like a lotion more than a cream, but I liked that as it was easy to apply and move around your face. I tried applying with a brush, my hands and a sponge ball my daughter gave me, and each worked well with the Olay.

I think the price is good and I like that you can pick this up in the supermarket!

I absolutely love this BB crème. I have been using it consistently for over a year now and have replaced it with foundation. Its very lightweight and keeps my face feeling moisturised all day, and fits my medium skin tone without looking orange or too tan as I find a lot of BB creams do. I've gone through countless bottles and will continue to be my go to!

Honestly this is my go to foundation now. It moisturisers, gives me sun protection and has a great colour base with a slight glow. People have noticed and commented on how well I look.

Due to eye issues I have been unable to wear foundation so this was a great compromise goes on well, doesn't feel heavy has okay coverage only thing I didn't like is after using phone it would transfer to my phone screen so to overcome this I use some setting spray also helps it last longer

This is my favourite BB cream, and I've tried many. Not only does it live up to all its promises of nourishing the skin, improving the appearance, evening out skin tone, and being a moisturising, primer, corrector, and foundation all-in-one, it also contains SPF.

The best part? Its lightweight and doesn't feel like make-up, unlike some other BB creams on the market. It has a pleasant sent that dissipates quickly, its easily absorbed by the skin, and it lasts all day.

When I heard about this product I was really excited to try it. I'm a big fan of multi-tasking products, because no matter my best intentions when I try to layer moisturiser, sunscreen and foundation, I always get bored somewhere along the road and don't finish the job!

First up the packaging - the tube is the pale gold synonymous with Olay and you simply push down on the top to get product to come out. This means there is no chance of getting dirt into the tube and contaminating the product, so I appreciate that.

For the product itself, I'm a quite pale-skinned blondie, so BB cream can often be too yellow for me. When applied with my fingers the product looked a little too yellow for my skin tone and I didn't think it looked too natural. However, when I removed it that night I discovered that actually it was a much closer match to my skin tone than I had given it credit - I must have got a bit of a tan this summer after all!

The next day I figured, in the interest of equality of testing, I needed to try it with my Oasis BB blending brush (it is a brilliant tool, since you asked!). As with my regular BB cream (Oasis), after application with the blending brush the colour gave a good coverage (including hiding one particularly red blemish) and looked very natural. The coverage was slightly lighter than my Oasis one, but it lasted well, still disguising my uneven skin tone come time to wash it off that evening!

Finally price - at $33 it is very affordable compared to some other BB creams on the market - and is especially affordable when you consider you're getting moisturiser, foundation and sunscreen for your money!

Altogether this is a solid product that does actually do all the jobs it was designed for. Win!
