Okay So to start with I have normal skin that gets a bit dry sometimes but nothing major. I am also very pale so I got this in the shade light.
So I will start with the price and the packaging. I think it is decently priced, I saw it in farmers for $21. The packaging is okay, I think that the box it comes in is very average looking however and looks quite cheap. The squeezy bottle that the actual product comes in is fine however. It isn't amazing and it doesn't stand out but it is easy to get the product out of.
The product itself is quite thick and creamy and I liked the consistency of it. I tried application with both my fingers and with a brush (real techniques buffing brush) and I by far preferred applying it with a brush. The brush gave much better coverage and a better finish. I found it harder to blend out nicely with my fingers.
The coverage was quite sheer and had a dewy finish. It did however work well to even out my skin tone without looking like I was wearing a lot of product on my face. I liked the finish after doing two layers as it covered my imperfections a bit better. I think that a bottle will last for a long time as I did not need much product at all.
The only issue that I had with the product on my face was that the colour was still a bit too dark on me as I am very pale.
The product didn't have any fragrance which I liked. It also gave me no extra breakouts which was great.
Overall I liked this product and the only thing stopping me from using it a lot is the colour and it was too dark and a bit too yellow toned for my skin.
I have been testing out the Garnier BB Cream - Medium over the last 5 days and have had really positive results. My skin type is quite oily with the odd dry patch, I have mostly clear skin with the occasional big pimple. I found the BB Cream to be quite creamy with a great consistency, the colour was very easy to see when taken from the tube. I found the cream easy to apply but did find that it stuck to the dry patches on my skin. The fragrance was lovely but I would prefer if it didn't have one as I do have sensitive skin and try to avoid anything with a fragrance. I found the BB cream to have great "weekend" cover, enough to hide my bad bits but not enough for me to want to go to work during the week, I did find that I went over the product with a powder afterwards as it had quite a shine to it. The only negative I would have is I felt the product didn't stick to my face very well, I found when I touched my face often my hands were left with makeup on them and when I checked in the mirror after a few hours I felt quite exposed and didn't feel like I had enough makeup on. The felt the packaging was fine, it didn't wow me and I certainly wouldn't stop in my tracks to look at it in the supermarket.
Overall I thought the product was really good for a cheaper supermarket brand, I would defiantly continue to use this product on the weekends and on days that I wanted to wear less makeup.
Tips: My tip would be to apply the BB Cream with a brush or sponge to have a fuller coverage and avoid touching your face throughout the day as I found it wipes off onto your hands.
