I saw this in the latest vault and decided to try it, as my cuticles have always been neglected and dry. I is a cute black and gold pen and has a slanted tip for gently pushing cuticles back. Be very careful squeezing it out. The gel dries fairly quickly which is then washed off. It was easy to push my cuticles back gently, and the moisturising formula is really good for dry nails and cuticles. Having the pen shaped product on my dresser has actually reminded me to take better care of my cuticles, it stands out with the flashy gold on it.

Tips: Try it on your toenails, works for them too.
A pen type product half black half gold. Has a slanted end of which is the eraser. It dispense the product being a liquid gold and once it's on the nails and cuticles it sets to a powder which you have to soak off. The cutiles come off easy and I wouldn't had tried this if I hadn't won it. This does help with the application of nail polish. It's a manicure at home without the cost.
Tips: Use combined with the liquid gold and soak hands . be careful if ur heavy handed the product could pop out too fast too much
This is such a weird lil doo-hickey. I picked it up out of intrigue, above anything else.
Sally Hansen's 18K Gold Cuticle eraser comes in pen-like packaging, in black, gold and white. you squeeze product onto your nails via an applicator and massage it in, then buff away the detached cuticle with the rough, white tip, which is there for the purpose of cuticle removal, and actually resembles an eraser on a pencil.
The product has a faintly chemical odour, and does leave a wee residue on nails, so I always wash my hands after use. It definitely makes a difference to the state of my cuticles, allowing me to keep them shorter and stop them interfering with my polish finish. It's easy to use, not terribly expensive, and readily available.
I'll definitely re-purchase, once this one (which is lasting forever!) is done with.
I was quite excited to get this in the vault. I thought this was going to be the answer to my disgusting cuticle nightmares! Well.... no... sadly I was disappointed....
The gel is just gel really. There's no granules in it to exfoliate. The gold is in there but I really think it's just to make it look pretty. I found the whole thing a little awkward to use really. The tip bit is a soft plastic that I think flexes too much and you have to squeeze the gel out, the bottle is a little too firm to make this easy. I find too much gel comes out & it's quite hard to get off one nail to another.
The lid is designed to push your cuticles back, is handy.
The gel does this weird powdery thing if you let it just sit. Though it washes off fine. There's no odor.
I haven't found it's made any difference to my cuticles really. they're still messy.
Yes that is a line from Austin Powers and its fitting because I LOVE this product. I was skeptical, but after one use and I am all over it.
I was with fiance at the time in Farmers and convinced him that buying me treatsies would make me happy. Magically, it worked. I am a very impatient person and so on the drive to my mothers, I opened it up. I had no idea how to open it. I pulled the white thing off, don't do that. I twisted the gold cap and SUCCESS!!! The lid came off. The applicator is weird, it's a plastic fin type thing with a hole in one side. I haven't seen an applicator like this before!
To get the product out you have to squeeze the black tube, very very gently. I squeezed a bit hard and got a big ol dollop all over my thumb - I managed to do all fingers with it! Oops. But wow! The grittiness of this product is divine, my fingers loved it! I can't put my finger on the scent but it's not unpleasant. Once it's dried, the gel turns into a weird white powder - which explains why you have to wash it off.
The best thing though, was how easily it pushed my cuticles back! Sure, you have to be firm, but still gentle as it's a delicate part of your body. It was like the gritty serum had melted them and looking at them now (two days later) they are quiet and behaving and I don't feel the need to break out my nail kit and use my hangnail clippers to cut bits off. I'm very impressed - but with Sally Hansen I always am.
