This gave me a flawless finish when I first put it on and looks amazing. However it wore off around my jaw faster than other foundations. It did pretty well controlling oil, but still needed to powder at least once during an 8 hour work day.

Tips: I applied mine straight from the stick and blended using a damp beauty blender.
This is a nice foundation of your going for a light coverage which sometimes I like. Would suit someone just starting makeup
I'll admit I didn't use this product for its correct purpose as it doesn't come in my shade (yay for the joys of nc10).
I picked this product up when I left my contour pallet at home when I went on holiday and it lasted about a week in my make up bag.
The product went on smooth and blended reasonable well, until it came into contact with my normal foundation, when it started to cake and split. After a solid 5 minutes with the beauty blended I had no visible lines or cracks and applied powder, where the change in products became evident under my blush.
After spending 4 hours out, came home to see a perfect face, minus a 1 inch line under my cheeks. The contour had completely come off. I'd hate to think what it would have looked like as a full face as what was left when a shiny mess.
Would only recommend this product as an emergency spot fix which would need top ups.
Tips: The damp beauty blender blended it in well, wouldn't suggest a heavy hand or brush application as it won't blend properly
This foundation just simply wasn't good to me. Initially it blended out nicely with a RT buffing brush, and the finish was quite pretty despite that even with a powder over top it didn't seem to dry.
Within an hour it had separated terribly on my nose/forehead (I do not have oily skin either) and was sliding around my face. It also transferred like crazy, considering the amount that made it's way all over my jacket collar I'm surprised there was any left on my face. Sadly this foundation didn't come off of my clothing as easily as it did my face :( This product is just one big miss for me, I got rid of it after a couple of uses.
Not being a fan of stick foundations in the first place set me up in the first place with a pre-determine outlook of this fit me shine free version.
However, it does have some good qualities and find it works well on other people's skin than my own, my combination skin couldn't agree in areas, with patches becoming a little shiny as the day wore on.
Application was pretty simple but blending in took a little time as the product wants to sink into the skin, so I would only use a damp sponge to dab this foundation on, using a brush just left it very streaky and patchy looking.
The colour options are pretty generous and I was easily able to find the shade to suit myself.
It just wasn't that impressive to me and I have only used it twice and left it alone ever since.
I grabbed this on my travels to australia- Its compact size meant that i could throw it into a clutch for night out touch ups. I found that if i overheated slightly , it would start to wear off pretty darn quicky and went all shiny. Not great when your looking for a matte finish. I found it worked better as a concealer than a foundation, the coverage was also quite light. I tried to build it up , which then caused it to suddenly look cakey.
I found this product was best for touch ups throughout the day/night if needed it doesn't give very good coverage for a foundation on its own very hard to blend
Tips: Best use for touch ups rather then full foundation
I picked this beauty up from the splashstore website. It has been years I have used stick foundations. I thought I would bring it back to see how well it works .
The packaging is very basic black tube . Comes with a clear lid. Consistency of this stick foundation is smooth. There’s no scent at all.
When I applied this stick foundation to my skin it spreads out evenly across my skin. I found it super easy to blend it out across my skin. I found it was very light coverage. It is buildable but can become cakey if over done.
Overall I was slightly disappointed with how long it lasted. I would have expected a few hours but only got one. Price wise it’s too expensive. Could be cheaper considering it lacks longevity.
I left my trusty BB cream at home and was heading out after work for dinner so needed to grab something quickly and this looked good.
It comes in a simple wind up black tube with a clear lid. It is very easy to use. As I didn't have my beauty sponge or anything on me I swiped some on my face then spread it out. At first it looked fantastic but after a few hours my face looked terrible! So cakey and it had seperated badly around my nose.
I actually couldn't wait to take it off. So unfortunately this did not suit my skin well at all. Next time I won't forget my BB cream :-)
This foundation is perfect for a quick morning routine. It is super easy to apply, just swipe away and blend a little. I find that I have to use quite a lot for the coverage that I like so it won't last me very long but is perfect for travelling as it's lightweight and small. It is also one of the few foundations that matches my pasty white skin colour. One of the downsides is it's not the best with blending as it can look a bit patchy if you push too hard (I use a Real Techniques Expert Face Brush so could be my brush) but it doesn't leave much excess on the brush so less wasted product. The other is that it isn't very "shine-free", my skin was still quite oily by the end of the day. Not a bad product for the price though, would definitely buy again. Update-works much better with a beauty blender finish wise but gives less coverage
Tips: Definitely finish with a light powder as it's not as "shine-free" as they claim
