Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner Review

I liked this liner it stayed put for a decent amount of time however I found that the gel seemed to dry up after a while. I really like the packaging as it is made out of glass with a plastic lid. It does come with a brush which I found worked well.

It is quite a thick gel liner but it has very good pigmentation. I didn't notice any unpleasant smell when using this gel liner.

This liner is super black and smooth. It lasts a really long time and it looks really good, the applicator that comes with it is actually amazing. It's waterproof and since my eyelids are quite oily, I was quite worried about it smudging, but it totally didn't. It's got a great price tag and lasts ages, I found that the mac one I had didn't last long because it dried up, but this one is a lot better in that respect

Unbeatable price, unbeatable application but meh lasting power. That's pretty much how i'd sum up this product. The brush that comes with the product is brilliant and mas it easy to create a small cateye flick. and the prodct is a craemy consistency perfect for a beginner to gel eyeliners. I do find that it only lasts for 4-5 hours though before going patchy. So do with that what you will!

The best feature of the maybelleine eye studio is how simple it is to apply, i found it a much more softer way to apply with it being gel as a great alternative to pencil eyeliners which often hurt my skin on application. Gel eyeliner lasts almost the entire day and i use it on my waterline. really love this product have been using it for well over 2 years now

This is the most amazing eyeliner ever. It's perfect for everyday use but also when you want a more dramatic winged look. I love winged eyeliner but because I have hooded eyes, I always found it hard to find an eyeliner that set before I opened my eye and it would end up being all smudged over my eyelid. This is why Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner is perfect for me, I find it glides on smoothly and also sets quickly. It comes with a cute little brush that gives you perfect precision for smaller or thicker lines. I love that it lasts all day but also is easy to remove when I wash my face.

I was gifted this to try by a rep at work. I loved how it came in a small black pot and had a brush included. I found that the depth of the colour was amazing but unfortunately the brush was too soft and I found it hard to apply the eyeliner with it and get a consistent line. I resolved this problem by swapping over the brush for my Shiseido one. This made the colour go on quite consistently and I was really happy with the results. Unfortunately the colour didn't last the whole day and I found that I had panda eyes by the end of the day. I must admit I am a bit of an eye rubber though.

This is one of the best Gel eye liners I have ever tried. Too be fair I have not tried too many, but the other 5 I have tried are on the more high end side and the Maybelline liner being the cheapest buy far has the best pay off and bang for your Buck!

Compared to my other gel liners this one does come in a small pot, but my pot is barely half used and I v been using it every week for almost a year and a half! It is very long lasting and a little will go along way. The gel slides on very easy and will last you a good 12 hours. The gel itself does not crumble or flake of and it dose not rub onto the top of your eye lid!

Another bonus is with this liner you do get a gel brush free!!! So if you do not have one you will be all sorted.

I have only tried the black gel liner and I would highly recommend it

I was really intrigued by this product. I had heard really really good things about it and tight I would try it out after my MAC fluid line ran out. Whilst it is really reasonably priced and nicely pigmented I felt that I didn't have a lot of staying power. I'm a MAC Blacktrack girl and so while this lived up to the colour and consistency hype it just didn't do it for me wearability wise. I found that it rubbed at the slightest touch and also marked my lids even after using a setting spray or liner setter. I think this is okay for a back up liner but I wouldn't be buying it as a staple again anytime soon. I'm only a third of the way through the pot that I bought and I've gone back to MAC.

This product was really good! Went straight from using eye liner pencils to gel and although I was weary about the change... It was worth it! This was the first gel I used and it lasts so much longer than eye pencils! I was amazed! Especially since it hardly smudge throughout the day! Great for when I go to work, as eyeliner tends to smudge in the hot conditions. The only problem I had was with the brush. Being a first timer of this sort of this I was a bit unsure about this. I tried it out but my friend recommended getting another brush and I did. I wish this came with another brush otherwise I would say this product is perfect. It stays on all day and night and just lasts way longer than I expected!

I've used this product for years. It was the first ever gel liner I ever tried and I was weary because the only reason I tried it was because it claimed to be intensely black and budge-proof. And it totally was!

It lasts for a good amount of time, it's easy to use and it doesn't dry out super fast like Mac's Blacktrack gel liner which is awesome because this is waaaaay cheaper.

Usually brushes and applicators that come with beauty products are overlooked but the one that comes with this is actually not bad to use at all. When I was starting out with make up and gel liner, I did use it and it was fairly easy to work with.

I also particularly love how it's not difficult to take off at the end of the day.
