I got this a long time ago in the 'Shattered Face Case'. If you were to purchase this from the Urban Decay website it is USD$20. The colour is Lovechild and it is a lovely bright pink.
The packaging for this is very simple and alike to a lot of other pencil lip sticks. The cap is metal which I really like. No risk of it breaking in your handbag and smearing the product everywhere. This is a true pencil with a wooden outside with the lip stick in the middle. Unfortunately the pencil size is quite strange so you do need a sharpener that is bigger. The colour of the outside of the pencil is similar to the colour of the lipstick which I love.
The product itself is extremely creamy. It is easy to put on with the product being in a pencil so it is easy to get a precise line around the lips. It looks incredibly glossy on the lips as you would expect from a lipstick called 'high gloss'. It also feels very moisturising along with the gloss. It does stay very glossy so it can be prone to moving and transferring if you accidentally touch your lips. The colour is also very pigmented. I feel like it completely covers up my natural lip colour. The wear time on this is pretty good for a gloss type of lip stick. It doesn't last particularly well through eating etc although I wouldn't expect it to.
Overall I really do like this product, although for the price I think you could probably find something else cheaper with the same quality.
When these got released, I was very skeptical of them. This was before a lot of the big liquid lipsticks brands had released their gems. These are amazing. They are stick, sharpenable lipsticks that have a beautiful built in gloss in them. The shades are amazing. I loved how they have a hot pink color and also a darker pink with glitter! A red with an orange base and a red with a blue base so it fits everyone! It uses plant ingredients which is so important to me as well. It has a really great lasting power which was shocking since it was so glossy! I only had to reapply once when using it on a 12+ hour work day. No lip liner needed. Just one stick to do it all is awesome. It is a very creamy formula and nothing about it is ever sticky which is awesome. The only downside to these are that they do transfer onto cups, cheeks, napkins etc. so they wouldn’t be a great choice for a dinner party or anything like that.
