CoverGirl Lip Perfection Jumbo Gloss Balm Review

This is a lovely balm, it gives shine, and actually moisturizes my lips. It lasts a long time too, if I wear it to work I only re apply twice all day. I love that it leaves a beautiful stain like a lipstick, but keeps lips looking nourished like a balm.

Once I managed to get it out of the packaging and then finally managed to get the wrap off the whole pen. I think the packaging is a bit overkill.

I like the idea of a pencil how much easier it would be to apply. Just draw those lips on. There wasnt too much colour when I first started to apply it which is fine just a nice hint but from the packaging I was expecting a bit more colour.

It's easy to apply and I like that you just have to turn the bottom rather than having to sharpen it.

My lips didn't really feel that great, I think it would annoy me because i can't work out what it feels like is on my lips as it's not sticky like a gloss but doesn't feel overly hydrating that I would expect from a balm. I think it's going to go in the bottom of my bag for when I need something to tidy up a bit.

I feel sad writing a bad review when everyone else really likes this lip product! I my self just wasn't the biggest fan. I tried the shade #235 which is a shade of pink, i didn't mind the way it felt on my lips it wasn't at all drying etc i just hated that it had a little bit to much sparkle for my liking! other wise if it didn't have so much sparkle i think i would have really liked the product! maybe i got the wrong colour? I liked the packaging reminds me a lot of the clinique packaging actually. It was easy to apply and went on defiantly like a gloss balm would. I wont be repurchasing this or recommending to friends.

Just what I was looking for! Great product, long lasting colour, I have the shade 205 " Ballet Twist" I love it, its the colour in the demo picture above attached this product.The product twists up, no need to sharpen, and has not melted in my bag through the summer like some others that have. It is moisturising and stays on well and this colour isnt too bright, similar to lip colour- wearable for any occasion. Perfect! Definate repurchase, hope it stays around.

Again, another Covergirl novelty for me. I feel like a big kid applying 'crayon' to my lips :-)

#235 is a beautiful shade of pink. When applying it glides on super easy. I often lick my lips, so I do have to reapply often. And it doesn't taste bad either.

I like that you twist the top of the crayon to wind the balm up and down. I particularly like you can twist the balm back up if you have gone to far as some products, once twisted down - that's it.

I would like to try other colours and recommend. I keep it in my handbag. Quick and easy to apply.

Lips have a nice shimmer.

Easy to apply, lasts for a few hours & touch up is easy. The balm leaves my lips feeling nice & smooth.

I love this product I have it in the shade 210 (I am not sure what name it is because it only has the number on the sticker) it is a neutral pink and I love it for an everyday go to colour that matches everything.

It is a lipstick in the form of the wind up crayon. You do not get much product but mine has still lasted a really long time. The formula is nice and lasts a couple of hours on my lips.

I will definitely repurchase the shade I already own and will be looking into the other colours in the range.
